Honestly the only advantage for me on this app was being able to quickly get to my speaker presets to change them. Now it seems they changed the app so in order to get to those features I have to use it as a remote and find the settings same as I would with my standard remote. Before I did not need to view the options on screen or avr display just a quick change from the phone app. Not helpful change.

I am using this with an avr-x3300w. The is functional. But here is my biggest problem with it: you can use it to turn on your receiver but if you switch to another app on you phone and then come back to it, the app refuses to turn off the receiver. Only way to get this to work is if I force close the app, start it up again, let it search for the receiver and then hit the power button(which eventually shuts the receiver off after about 8-10 seconds). It is certainly not instant.

This app runs in the background and doesn't have a method to close it, it randomly starts itself back even if you force close it and the stereo isn't turned on, and it uses more resources while running in the background than almost any app you can think of. But it does let you control the volume and inputs of the stereo, usually.

The new updates have made this app so much easier to use with my Denon x6400. Thank you for the hard work and development. The HEOS integration and a ailability of streaming options is also great! Please add an option in menu to trigger Bluetooth pairing mode though. Also stabilize connection.

There is a bit of a learning curve but once you get used to it it's good. Giving it an extra star from 3 to 4. BTW, the name contains 2016 so I always mentally feel it is out of date. Rename it Denon!

Works fine, kinda sluggish but faster than the remote. Never had a problem with running after closing it with the back button. You can also just make sure your phone doesn't let it run in background if you're that worried

Hello, the 2000's called, they want their technology back. I just upgraded my 10-year-old receiver and the tech that seemed outdated back then hasn't really changed.

App doesnt work. It just says "running in background". It won't connect to device on wifi. Very disapointed with the price spent on the product.

App never leaves the loading screen. 20 minutes of a spinning wheel. This is unusable.

Denon app drains my battery on my phone. Also, it randomly turns on my Denon receiver (not on/accessing app, Denon receiver powers on by itself)
