view Wi-Fi connections
Allows the app to view information about Wi-Fi networking, such as whether Wi-Fi is enabled and name of connected Wi-Fi devices.

create accounts and set passwords
Allows the app to use the account authenticator capabilities of the AccountManager, including creating accounts and getting and setting their passwords.

send sticky broadcast
Allows the app to send sticky broadcasts, which remain after the broadcast ends. Excessive use may make the phone slow or unstable by causing it to use too much memory.

Allows access to the list of accounts in the Accounts Service.

find accounts on the device
Allows the app to get the list of accounts known by the phone. This may include any accounts created by applications you have installed.

full network access
Allows the app to create network sockets and use custom network protocols. The browser and other applications provide means to send data to the internet, so this permission is not required to send data to the internet.

prevent phone from sleeping
Allows the app to prevent the phone from going to sleep.

set an alarm

  1. Robin Cook-avatar

I paid for premium version which I thought would be seamless integration between my phone and PC but alas no. I had to manually input everything from my pc to the phone and when going onto some apps that need a password where is Dashlane smart login... nowhere to be seen. Also when browsing on chrome on phone chrome instead of dashlane is asking to generate secure password which isnt getting picked up by dashlane so kind of defeats the object of having just one password manager no?

  2. Chris Taylor-avatar

Have used the service for years, but autofill on Android 10 has become very unreliable. I have to disable and enable it (several times a day) to make it work. Thanks for the link on how to enable autofill, I'm quite familiar with the process already though, as I have to do it 5+ times a day.

  3. Roger P-avatar

Dashlane is great as far as a secure password & data storage feature. One of the best, if not the best. (5 star) However it would be a phenomenal product if they would occasionally add new functionality (4 star). We've had mix experiences with premium support we're paying for. Sometimes you get an immediate response. Then other times you may not hear back at all for a day or longer even though you pay extra for the priority response. Very strange disparity so (3 star). [Overall 4 star]

  4. Randi D-avatar

Was great, not anymore. Premium account for over 3 years, sync & auto login completely unreliable. Manual sync does NOT work consistently no matter which device (laptop, tablet or 2 different Android phones) is used to add passwords & initiate sync. Uninstall & reinstall on multiple devices works for a few days but then same problem returns. (Only unhelpful, pat responses to negative reviews.) No point paying for it since it doesn't work when you need it. Don't recommend and won't be renewing!

  5. Alexander Demyan-avatar

Lost all of my passwords. Talked to the support team. They said they would email me when I had login issues even though my password was correct. They never got back to me. My passwords were just gone when I was finally able to log back in.

  6. Bradley Murray-avatar

Really awesome password manager. The sync does take around 90 seconds to reach other devices but I don't mind this. It makes it all really simple and offers easy to change to secure passwords for each site. I have multiple family members using this now because you don't have to remember loads of passwords. Even for someone who is minimumally on the internet you would be amazed how many passwords you actually have. Easy to keep to using the same password so Dashlane fixes this.

  7. jack L-avatar

Works well but you cant ever change your email once signed in. Support is quick but provided no useful information. The link they sent me for "help" doesnt work. And the steps they tell you to follow dont exist, file export, etc. Those are not options in app or in any current browser. Otherwise, a great app. If they would allow an email change it would be perfect.

  8. Nate Maher-avatar

Great app, very easy to use! Good price (be sure to use a coupon) for a password manager and VPN combo. It allows you to export your data which helps me feel that I am not locked to Dashlane and can change to another password manager at any time. I REALLY want credit score monitoring like they have in the US with Premium Plus. It would be really helpful to have all of this in one place with dark web monitoring too. I'd pay $15CAD per month for this feature.

  9. Tyler Calvert-avatar

VPN part of this password manager seemed like a great deal, it's unbelievably invase, with popups approximately every 2-5 minutes asking to be allowed to connect. I have another VPN that I genrally use, and don't need or want the Dashlane one. Additionally windows desktop version had a broken installer that popped up every 10 minutes or so after intallation with a frozen window that left no indication what was meant to be installed. Not worth the effort of trying to fix with the terrible VPN issues on top of that. Additionally, Dashlane has the worst browser support out of every major password Manager on the Play Store, as they do not have an optional accessability service for Android Q, as all other managers do, I realize best practice says not to use an accessability service on Q, but the reality is that they are still a neccesity until better support for the Autofill Service is introduced in browsers.

I have 120+ passwords. I'd forget them & have to reset. But with Dashlane now I no longer have a problem. Use biometrics, a main pass or such to open Dashlane & get to your passes. It's totally worth it. Not just for passes but more. I'd explain everything but it'd take more than 500 characters Instead, take a risk free 30 day premium access trial you can end at any time. Premium gives you unlimited passes while free gives 50. Trust me, worth it. I NEVER rate 5 stars unless perfect or close.

  11. jay maffitt-avatar

Since installing this app logging into our accounts has been a nightmare. Even after importing all passwords, it still makes us sign into every account and the password we used no longer works so we're having to reset every one of them. Was supposed to save time and hassle, not make it 10x worse.

  12. Stoyan Ivanov-avatar

Have been a premium subscriber for over 4 years and have been pleased with the performance of both Android and Windows apps. However, recently the performance of the auto filling has really deteriorated on Android making the app much less useful. I don't want to have to open an app, search for a password and copy paste...

  13. Ryan Burrows-avatar

Excellent UI. Easy to use. Responsive support department. Creates uncrackable passwords. Uses multiple layers of encryption to store them on your device. Become invulnerable to 'man-in-the-middle' attacks 'rainbow' attacks and others. Great application for security and ease of use.

Dashlane is an excellent password manager! I'm using the premium version so I can use it on multiple devices and it's great so far! The interface looks nice and I definitely feel more secure since I changed my passwords using their strong password generator.

  15. Carl Bernstein-avatar

Great application when it works, but it has lately become inconsistent in compatibility with the brave browser. This is using Android 10 with auto-fill enabled. Update this also impacts the chrome browser on Android 10. All support steps provided by Dashlane haven't resolved the issue. I'm guessing there were some regressions with the Android app during updates.

  16. Jenn Steib-avatar

Mostly I like it. Saves my login and password, even has a password generator. It recognizes most apps. I don't care for the Dashlane browser but it's ok. I really don't like that the Dashlane browser keeps replacing the Dashlane icon on my phone. Kind of irritating.

  17. Chris Cranston-avatar

Amazing app. Don't use some of the features but not a single complaint. Worth upgrading to premium for the multiple devices synced passwords and unlimited storage. Would be amazing if it had a 2FA built in like Google authenticator or authy. But otherwise. Yeah boss product.

  18. DAVE BURLING-avatar

For below question you have to be online or connected to other devices for passwords to sync. No ads if paid member as far as I know but believe unpaid only limited passwords, still working on the fighting between Google and dashlane battle to save and the auto fill second guessing Wich one is doing the actual work faster, me myself need to straiten up clutter on both too many accounts/sign-ins.

  19. Joshua Wowk-avatar

Really liking Dashlane overall, having some minor issues with autofill not working great in some Android apps at the moment, however that does appear to be improving as time goes on. Edit: great to see the team @ Dashlane offering help right here on my review! Kudos!

  20. Jaroslav Sumbal-avatar

    Jaroslav Sumbal

The app itself is very good , but I'm seriously annoyed that after every update, the dashlane icon I have on my home screen changes to dashlane browser. Every. Single. Time. Then I have to change it. One star in hopes this will get noticed and fixed.

  21. Jennifer Benton-avatar

    Jennifer Benton

Good password storage. Sometimes the auto-login is finicky and sometimes it makes you enter your master password too many times instead of being able to use a fingerprint. But I'm happy with it for the most part.

  22. Jake Burli-avatar

Really great password manager. Clear and easy to use layout👍. The problem is that if I get a new phone, I can't sync my passwords!!! What's the point of this app if I have to manually enter all of my info every time I get a new device?!☹️

  23. Scotty McLovin Ammon-avatar

There's a lot of pesky bugs around where I live and Dashline not only performs more security tasks than any other app of it's kind, it's also the most effective.

  24. Eloise Anne Dizon-avatar

At first, it is complicated to use compared to other password managers in play store. I suggest that include the password manager to the Home page of the app.

  25. Boarderfalife-avatar

Simple. straight forward password app that is extremely easy to use with a clean layout. Been using for years, and will continue.

  26. N Obsydian-avatar

Great potential but not well integrated. Even with autofill selected across all devices it still let's some devices use the old original password, why doesn't it sync.

  27. Timothy Mills-avatar

Amazing app. Works really well. Head about this through various YouTubers a while ago, but decided to try it out, very helpful for telling me how strong/weak my passwords are. Would recommend everyday!!!

It's Great! Like this app really protects your info, password, accounts and etc., so we always use it for our privacy, I love it.

New to the app, so still "moving" in!!! Expensive for the 2nd tier service. I'll see how it works.

  30. hugh odonnell-avatar

I used the full trial version for a few days. It does I what is says it does. User friendly. 1 year later still using Daslane

  31. Philip Jackson-avatar

Was great, but as security requirements got harder, it lost its ability to get the job done.

  32. Marlen Kusyk-avatar

I was someone who used free or "cracked" password apps on my pc or phone. But none of them compare to this. The way it syncs, the simplicity, the UI... I'm only 2 days into the trial, and this found passwords from places I haven't even seen in years! Very fast, and I had it on all my phones, tablets and computers instantly. Hard to think I never looked into this earlier before my friend showed me it. I think you got a new long-term customer here!

  33. Melanie Miller-avatar

The Premium is a must. It offers free VPN as well as auto sync among all devices for unlimited passwords. Tons of security features.

  34. Marie-Christine Landry-avatar

    Marie-Christine Landry

I really enjoy this app! No more searching for passwords everywhere ! It's also great that it works on my laptop (windows 10), apple tablet and android phone seamlessly !

  35. Luna Landing-avatar

I love this application! One of my fave features is the Password Changer that automatically changes your password to a more secure version!

  36. John Harrison-avatar

UPDATE: The issue is resolved. Since the latest update, the app crashes upon opening.

  37. Joe Peterson-avatar

I would not mind giving it 5 stars if it wasn't for the annoying master password verification every 15 days or how ever long. It forces the user to enter their master password every so often before using. The main reason I got the app is due to me forgetting passwords, which includes the master password. It'll boot you out after so many failed attempts also. Remove this required pop up or at least give the user to have it optional. If anything do it once a month or so.

  38. Len Gathercole-avatar

Useful manager - great functionality. Suggestion: sometimes pw are lost/wrong. Must be use of the app on several devices and I forget to sync when I add/update pw's. Pls consider in settings: 'app sync before close down (not sleep)' -> latest pw change (any reg device) is updated on all. Also: phone change using 2fa: I use authenticator apps on one phone. if I lose it, I can only access app with recovery pw. Pls add phone to 2fa to add new devices. Thanks :)

  39. Rick Ring-avatar

I have been using this for a couple years now, and have been very happy until recently... I now find the autofill doesn't come up on some sites (equally prevalent on PC)... And just generally much slower to pop up when it does finally. I'm unsure if this is down to a recent update or not... But what used to be 5* app in my opinion, has now gone down to 3*

  40. Abhijit Paul-avatar

The app needs customised ID's for ID storage and document storage. This is available only in Desktop version. Please provide same for Android app

  41. Ricky Keisling-avatar

I love the app, it's such a convenience to have the passwords I set on my other devices sync to my phone. Plus, the UI is really nice. However, I have two issues with the mobile app: 1. The biometric unlock does not work correctly. I have to enter my master password every time I need to access the app, which is VERY frustrating. 2. Autofill/suggested fill does not work in most apps. I understand that that concept is probably difficult, but I'd like to at least have a link to the Dashlane app.

  42. Inês Carvalho-avatar

So far it has helped me sort through my passwords, get better ones, and even remember some I had forgotten!

  43. George Lemke-avatar

could be a bit more intuitive and less obtrusive but otherwise it works great and does what it advertises to do When a new password is needed, like for some kind of membership or mailing list, Dashland should pop up like or instead of the Chrome password manager. Also, have "generate a new password" be an option on the first page of the app, maybe even instead of the list of new passwords created. Thanks! It is a great app, but there is always room for improvement!

  44. Jeff Dewey-avatar

Horrendous!! I have been a customer for 4 years now and it had deteriorated each year to the point where it now takes me three times as long than if I had to look it up on my own. It doesn't let you save new passwords because the save button never works! I got a new computer and thought my issues were relegated to the old one but no, they carried forward. There are several other way better password management programs out there. Don't waste your time here.

  45. Thug Goddess-avatar

I have been using the free version of this app for years (because honestly the cost is extremely expensive) with no issues, until the recent update. This new update has erased all of my passwords, twice, on the phone app with no way to retrieve them. I now have dozens of passwords I have to retrieve one by one and reset.

  46. John Barker-avatar

Reliable, pretty easy to use and synchronises well across devices.

  47. A Google user-avatar

The nightmare continues! I cannot believe App developers continue to take my money! Just paid annual premium $60 plus : even with constant updates reported bugs continue to a maddening degree! I have reported them ad nauseam in detail to support email (about 30 in last 2 years), via the App portal, after exhausting all the NA FAQs and by updating these negative reviews. Biometric account login still not reliable but worst is cannot log into any websites using DL or other browsers!

  48. David Bottomley-avatar

    David Bottomley

Utter fooking Garbage! Really A massive waste of time and money! Bought a year subscription for this app to use on laptop, desktop and Android but it rarely works, never actually saves passwords for sites (which is meant to be the point right?!) is incompatible with about 60%+ of sites just a poor waste of money when you still spend most of your time getting login resets because dashlane is a Garbage, frustrating app, load of junk IMO!

  49. Peter Branson-avatar

This app is unreliable and complicated, despite the fact I have paid for the premium version. It doesn't sync properly across my 2 devices, passwords don't update easily, and when I generate a new password for a site sometimes it stores the new one, sometimes it doesn't! The password changer feature is useless as it only changes a tiny proportion of my passwords (as apparently all the others are not compatible with this feature). I'm really disappointed with the app.

  50. Kevin Templin-avatar

Latest app version does not allow login with master password even though it works fine on all other devices.

  51. Daniel Neihoff-avatar

Great experience and very easy to use. No longer have to worry about remembering passwords and the passwords the program generates feel incredibly secure. And I can use this program between my PC, phone and tablet using the premium service that requires a monthly fee, but I managed to find a link to a free 6 months of premium, to try out the service. I highly reccomend anyone interested in this service to do so as well.

  52. Alan Stein-avatar

I downloaded this app very recently, but so far I am favorably impressed with its performance, features, and the degree to which it is user friendly. One of its standout features, IMO, is its ability to sync with my Windows desktop and laptop. Along with that aspect, I was able to import passwords from my PC and from Google password manager. So far, so good!

  53. David Seddon-avatar

Autofill doesn't work at all on Android 10 on multiple devices across multiple browsers and apps. They have a bot to "chat" to as the only form of help. It gives you the option of leaving them a message on a broken form that reloads every time you need to scroll. There is literally no way of me getting in contact with them other than hoping someone reads this and emails me or replies with a contact email.

  54. Gareth Judson-avatar

Worked well, until one day I restarted my phone and all my passwords were lost. No warning or reason. Otherwise the app worked so well on my device compared to others. I raised a support request prior to the response below. This was actioned and support were able to restore my passwords. It took 4 hours for a response, where I was asked 'approximately how many passwords were in my account'. I ignored. Then 2 hours after this my passwords were restored.

  55. Justin Louie-avatar

My favorite password manager, but contains some new bugs that makes it less functional. I've tried all of the well known password managers, and I think this one does everything the best. The syncing and integration are seamless for 99% of websites out there and the settings allow you to customize the behavior on a per website level. However, in the latest version of Dashlane or Android, it seems that autofill rarely works in Chrome for Android. This is a huge inconvenience.

  56. Sean McQuade-avatar

This app fights with Google. Neither of them have the correct passwords. It won't put passwords in apps. It gets them wrong on websites. I have done more password resets in the last couple weeks than in all the time before. It doesn't suggest passwords regularly. Sometimes it will sometimes it won't. Then when I try to look something up it is still holding the old password that I reset a day ago.

  57. Joe Kociela-avatar

Easy to use. Appreciate the strong security that this app provides. Definitely a 5 star program.

  58. Benedikt-avatar

Had no problems so far. Got an account a few years back with my new laptop used it since then and works great.

  59. Suman Ghosh-avatar

There is serious issue here. When I first install and register for it, it offers free premium. But when it ends and I choose not to continue with the premium and opt for the free version, all the saved password is gone. I don't know if this happens for any other user, but this happened with me today. This is really not suppose to happen.

  60. Mary Sieder-avatar

I am very discouraged with this app. Many of the passwords it saves are wrong, and many are duplicates. Half the time it doesn't come up at all. Very frustrating. I deleted one webpage the other day because it insisted on using the password it saved regardless of what I put into the password box, wouldn't save the correct one and nearly locked me out of that account. It has also locked me out of financial accounts due to insisting to put in the wrong password. AND the VPN does not work in hotels. I've since gotten another VPN and no problem with hotels at all. Maybe I am doing something wrong, but it shouldn't be that hard. Renewal time is coming up, and I'm considering not renewing and deleting altogether.

  61. 1drunkle1-avatar

I have been using free Dashlane for going on a year and so far, so good. I upgraded to the s20 Ultra at the beginning of March and knew my passwords would not transfer over. Simple solution: i picked up a pen and wrote out over 30 passwords of at least 11 characters each. Then i just went back in and entered the info on my new phone. A monthly payment option would probably go a long way in bringing in more customers, i.e. more revenue. Keep up the good work.

  62. Paul Griffiths-avatar

It does store passwords, and the act of centralizing that makes life easier. But I use both PC and android versions and even when I load a page using the app itself, Dashlane only autopopulates the login fields about half the time. This means have to go within the Dashlane program and copy/paste the passwords which is an enormous pain. So in practice, this isn't much better than me using a password protected Word file to perform the same function. I'd go with a competitor if I were you.

  63. Sam Van Fossen-avatar

This password manager has saved my life! It told me when my social security number was out there; when my card was at risk. It is also nice because you don't have to remember passwords anymore, except for a few :). I highly recommend paying the extra 9.99$ a month! Sure, it's more expensive, but you will get more out of it usage wise.

Finally a better way to sign in faster and easier. Great app, would definetly recommend

  65. Matt Wedan-avatar

Here's the thing about Dashlane: they've had this issue for years where it prompts you too often for your master password. They've never listened enough to consider it a real problem. No matter the phone, the longer you use Dashlane, it will inexplicably start to require it more often. (Tip: reinstalling helps.) And no Dashlane, I won't call or email you again, nothing ever gets done about it. Also, why they think "Recents" is more useful than a "Favorites" list I'll never understand.

  66. Emlynn Clark-avatar

VPN is shotty. It's all I use Dashlane for and on both my samsung phone and my Windows 10 PC, it frequently gets stuck in a constant "connecting" state that can't be fixed unless I shut the entire device completely down. This happens multiple times a day. Very upset I spent so much money on a "professional" VPN instead of the cheaper more known ones only for it to work for an hour before it gets stuck

  67. Ryan F-avatar

This app is garbage. I lost ALL of my passwords after the latest update on 3/17. I really dont appreciate this unnecessary stress during an already stressful period of time. Dashlane owes me for the time and hassle of having to change all of my passwords! Think twice before entrusting them with your sensitive information, especially if you're using a password generator! Always back up your information and keep it in a SAFE place!

  68. Tom Mason-avatar

I realise this is a bit of an edge-case, but a bulk/quick delete function would be great. I imported saved passwords from the browser and I now have 500+ passwords, most of which are just various testing passwords at localhost or other testing domains. I'd like to clean that up, but one at a time is slow

Easy to use. Easy to sync. Very helpful and highly recommended.

I've been a Dashlane customer for a couple years and I love the syncing and password sharing features. Yes there are a few glitches and sometimes the auto fill doesn't always work, but other password managers have similar problems and their own annoyances. Recently my PC browser had problems auto filling on a website using the Dashlaneextension, and Dashlane support worked diligently with me for several days to resolve the issue. Kudos to them!

Updating my original review.... I logged in today to find all of my passwords were gone, everything wiped. I was, of course, frustrated. I contacted customer support via online chat. I was just notified by a technical support expert that everything was restored. This was far above my original expectations. I really appreciate that they fixed the issue.

Works better than the majority of previously used apps for pword management and implementation.

  73. Kavit M-avatar

Absolutely love it. Other password managers been hacked but never Dashlane. History speaks truth how strong this is.

  74. Aron Sigthors-avatar

Good app for storing your password, safe and easy to use. Sometimes it doesn't autofill though and that can be a little annoying to have to go the app to copy the password etc. But otherwise it's good.

Great service—disappearing icon! I've been a paid customer for 2 years and would rate Dashlane 5 stars, but a recent glitch is interfering with its usability. The icon randomly disappears from my app page (I'm using Smart Launcher 5, if it matters), and I can't get it back unless I uninstall and reinstall the app. I know it's still installed, because I can launch it from its page on the Play Store, but have no other way to launch it. I'd appreciate if the devs could look into this. Thanks!

Great App! I've been using this app for over a year and it's been really easy to use. I've received a couple of updates regarding my email on certain sites that popped up on the dark web. Thanks to that notification from Dashlane I quickly changed my password.

  77. Nick Derkowski-avatar

Terrible terrible terrible, does not correctly synch over devices , and sometimes does not even update correctly on the same device. I switched over all of my passwords to Dashlane's randomly generated ones and since it will not synch I am continuously getting locked out of every account. This past week has been me going through password retrieval forms trying to undo this mess. I can't believe they want money for this.

On my second year of buying premium and I'm starting to wish I hadn't repurchased. App used to be very good at popping up when creating a new account. Now every time I create a new login I have to open dashlane and enter my master password. Not as convenient as it once was. Google passwords pop up instantly.

cant get wifiDashlane makes the internet easier. Save all your passwords and fill forms fast. Dashlane is more than just a password manager. It fills all your passwords, payments, and personal details wherever you need them, across the web, on any device. It’s the app that makes the internet easier. Every password, everywhere - Store an unlimited number of passwords and access them anywhere - Sync your Dashlane data to every device automatically, even if your phone and computer run on differe

Still can be buggy; doesn't always log into apps or websites. So I have to go in and copy the password and paste to input. Often doesn't automatically update changed passwords. I have to manually enter and save data. But, hopefully my data is safe, which is why I go to the extra effort.

App still has issues with VPN. Very slow to connect and disconnect. Would randomly begin to connect to the VPN even when the app is closed from recent apps. Autofill only works 50% of the time. It used to work great 6 months ago but it has just gotten worse.

Took a long time to get it all up and running but now it is done I am very impressed with the product. Highly recommended and well worth 5 stars!

excellent password manager - been using it for several years.

  84. Mathias Kayser-avatar

Love it, even though sometimes when I try to log in on apps it sometimes doesn't start it. I'd also love a function.where I can use the password generator that once I use the password it opens a prtofilenfor me to fill in, as often it doesn't ask if it should save it.

I don't know what happened, but after I did an update with your app, my passwords in your app are now gone. I had 10-15 passwords stored with this app and now NONE of them are available, disappeared in thin air I guess. Disappointed and will no longer use this app. And the other logo was most definitely better in my opinion.

  86. KI. AK.O.F-avatar

Very strict and secure app for those who have multiple password for different accounts. But you have to really remember your master password (for older device that doesn't have biometric like fingerprint scanner), if you forget your master password then that's it, but that's what i like about it.

  87. Radu Stoica-avatar

It works well on pixel phone but on pixel slate tablet doesn't let you use biometrics or pin it tells you you need to setup lock screen first. The thing is look screen it's already setup! So i have to enter the password everytime i use the app! :(

  88. Jessie Brown-avatar

I love using Dashlane to store all my passwords! It's so easy to use, and when you add the extension to your browser, it logs you in automatically. It helps you made strong passwords for better security. I use it on all my devices and computers.

  89. Donald Rice-avatar

I downloaded this app and it is the best. I don't have to remember all my passwords and it works on all of my devices. Plus the added security with the strong passwords is great. I have peace of mind knowing hackers need to work hard to guess my password.

  90. J Junior-avatar

Phenominal app! It makes it very easy to sync across all my devices. It's especially useful for my elderly parents. They can never remember their passwords. So I put dashlane on their devices and they don't have to worry if they can remember their passwords or not. I have them safe!!

  91. Felipe Bueno-avatar

I am a premium account. First, the upload does not work with category. When I replace a password, it is not reflected in the app. So, I need to redo the update manually. I created new categories but they are showing in the listing. I will get other app because it is giving me a headache.

I found it great but why my plan is showing me that it is premium not free...

  93. Vinieet Kumar-avatar

Easy to use. Improved a lot in last 1 year.I hope they keep strengthing their password protection policy, which is must in today's world. I still don't save my finance related passwords due to lack of this confidence that application can be hacked or may be someone in Dashlane might misuse it.

  94. Robert Nebel-avatar

Wonderful app. Great not having to remember all my passwords.

  95. Luke Hanson-avatar

Really like using Dashlane, been using it now for about 6 month, switched over from LastPass. I'd give 5 stars but find Dashlane to be a little hit and miss with adding new passwords. I'd like login details and passwords automatically adding to Dashlane when I create a new account somewhere, LastPass used to suggest a unique password and automatically add this to the manager. Quite infrequently will Dashlane ask to add new account details.

  96. Conor-avatar

First, I like the app, but the app (which uses Google apps) security settings drive me nuts. Everytime I login using my iPod touch or my iPad, all it asks for is my security pin code (instead of master password) and I'm in, but if it's on my Nokia 7.2 phone, the security settings change and I don't like it, it always asks for a device authentication code, then my master password. Please change it so that it's easier for Android users (I use a Nokia 7.2 phone) to login using only the pin code.

I have been using the free version of Dashlane for several years, and a recent update resulted in the loss of all passwords. Very frustrating! After contacting the Dashlane help team, they promptly and courteously actioned my plight, and after 24 hours my passwords were back. I am now considering the paid version to prevent this from happening again. I have since deleted the scathing 1 star review and replaced it with this one. Cheers Dashlane team!

  98. Daniel Kiat-avatar

Stores passwords safely. However, even after enabling all the things you're supposed to enable, on many apps and webpages the autofill doesn't come up or its clunky, especially on browser Ecosia (which I use because it's private and plants trees with its profits).

  99. Blayk 133-avatar

Such a fantastic service! The only thing that loses them a star in my eyes is the fact that the premium only being available in the form of annual payments makes it pretty hard to recommend when I'm not certain of someone's financial situation, or at least makes me think twice about doing so

I have been using this for a few years now and it has been excellent until I recently lost all my data. Luckily for me the great people at dashlane were onto it and in 1 day they were able to restore it for me, thanks very much for all your help...love it
