The app used to work perfectly, but after the latest update it glitches out much more often. Texts don't load, the "repeat until" option only works part of the time, sometimes absolutely no texts load and I'm left with a completely blank screen. It's a shame because the app itself so very useful, I loved the interface and features but it's becoming more and more of a hassle to use.

After the new update, the app takes much longer to load after it is refreshed. The amount of time it takes is unacceptable in my opinion, as I need to pull up my planner quite often to look over my schedule and add/check off tasks. I'm not sure if the dev team is working on optimizing this, but my suggestion is to have the app store some data offline for some time, and have a button that the user can tap to sync data (this is how the MyFitnessPal app works). One good thing that's resulted from the update is that the synchronization between my devices is reliable now. I actually tried to jump ship to another planner app, but no other app does exactly what I want, much less for free. :) Previous review (5 stars): I've been using this app for a couple of years now; it's quite useful and aesthetically pleasing. However, an issue I have right now is that when I change the time zone on my device the times of the events in the planner do not change (although the app did say reminders will change). It would be great if there's an option to have events reflect the time zone.

I can't see options for assignment type, reminder times, due dates, and the courses look greyed out as if I can't select them. I can't select a due date after the current month. And days after the current day in the task month view are not visible/in white text with a white background. Not sure if there's a glitch or awful design choices. It seems like the design didn't keep Android formatting in mind (granted I don't know anything about how Apple apps are layed out)

I love the app but since the rebuild there has been many glitches. For instance, the calendar sometimes goes blank when trying to select and end date for a recurring class. Additionally, even though it says my google calendar is synced to Chipper, nothing from my calendar shows up on the Chipper calendar like it used to. I am still using the app to manage college classes, just things like this make it a bit less user friendly.

Loved this app, but now the update came out and I can't even use it. Everything grayed or whited out. Can't put anything in it it. Please fix soon, I really need this app, and if it not working soon I'll have to find a new one, I just started school I don't have the time to wait. Why mess with something that wasn't broken?

Okay so I started using this a few days ago and you can look at my edit history to see how that went. I've figured out that the issue I was having is specific to "subtasks" and everything else mostly works. Still crashes and glitches often but it's usable so I added a star. Just can't use subtasks I guess.

Was working fine until today. The calendar now shows every day is checkmarked and closes everything I try to make a new event. No, the update did not help. Update 08/21/2021 - apparently, it now only works in light mode instead of dark mode like before. I use dark mode because it's better for my eyes and suffer from migraines. Please change it back.

I love Chipper, it's such an amazingly helpful app and helps me keep on top of stuff so that I'm not stressed but there's been huge issues lately. I can't see anything I'm doing unless I turn off dark mode for my entire phone. I wouldn't mind so much if I could selectively turn off dark mode just for Chipper, but I can't. The newest update did nothing to fix it :(

School is starting again so I'm starting to use chipper again. I think the new update brought a major glitch because now the calendar is blank, I can't adjust how long it took me to complete an assignment, and the icons look kind of faded. As if I had another tab or something open so that whatever in the back becomes dim. Very disappointing, since I know for school I use this app regularly.

Left a review a couple weeks ago describing an issue i was having with the app. Developers response was right on the money, it was dark mode causing the issue. :) hope it gets fixed soon, i love using this app and will continue using it for school!
