Hey Coach!
Our free baseball lineup generator automatically makes fair fielding rotations for your youth baseball or softball team. Just fill in your players' names in their starting fielding positions on the lineup card, and it does the rest, for games up to 7 innings of play!
With the free version, you can build lineups for up to 12 fielding positions, or for coach-pitch or coach-catch. Plus up to 6 bench positions that rotate in after the first inning. And you can lock out individual players from playing first base, catcher, or pitcher. Give it a try!
You can upgrade from the free version to get even more features:
Enter players' names and lockouts once, then use your roster all season:
√ Save up to 20 players. (Up to 18 can play in any one game.)
√ Track how many innings each player plays each position throughout your whole season!
√ Access your team account anywhere using any browser or our free app!
√ Share your team account with up to five assistant coaches, each with their own login, at no extra charge.
Save any fielding lineup, and add a batting order:
√ Add a batting order to any fielding lineup.
√ Create a new fielding rotation starting from any inning in a saved rotation.

Fair rotations every time:
√ A player will not stay in the same position for two consecutive rotations.
√ A player will not repeat the same position later in the game unless no other players are eligible to play that position.
√ No player will be put on the bench a second time until all other players have been on the bench once. Same for any additional rotations to the bench.
√ When possible, players will not repeat in the outfield until all other eligible players have played in the outfield.
Optional special rotation rules:
√ Prevent players from playing outfield two innings in a row.
√ Prevent players from catching after having pitched.
