The application is functional when it comes to listening to content you already own, however, it is terrible for anything else. If there is a 2 for 1 sale going on and you leave that interface it is a nightmare trying to get back. If you are searching for books, the filter options are extremely limited and basic. For anything other than listening to content in you currently library other apps do the job far better.

The interface isn't bad. Some things that would improve it are: - The explorer button simply loads a web page in app. - The app also doesn't utilize Android's media controls. By that I mean, when listening to music or a podcast the skip/play/pause buttons are all in the notification bar and accessible from the lock screen. This is not the case for audible; with audible I have to open the app to pause or rewind.

I live in France but the phone is set on English. I get part of the buttons and selections in French and the other part in English. I mean... Amazon ... the tech giant has this problem... wow. Two stars because I like listening to books so far but the recommendation system is a little off. When I press discover I get titles in French... it's ok I don't mind it but give me at least the option to switch language.

I love to read, and audible provides a way to listen to a book while you clean, shower, or drive. Audible is convenient however it is rather expensive. I don't see the point in paying $15 for ONE book a month. I would rather take the money and purchase the physical book and add it to my shelf. You finish listening to the book in 3 days and then you have to wait the rest of the month for another " free" book but it's not really free because your laying for the subscription. It's not worth it

I can't help but enjoy Audible. I was a bookworm until formal education thoroughly stomped the joy of reading out of me. Truly ironic, considering I became an ELA teacher following that. But through the app, I don't struggle to get into my stories, and I couldnt be happier with getting back to the metaphorical friends within the pages. Well, I would be if I didn't have to pay Jeff Bezos lol.

A very large library full of great titles. The only downsides are that some of the audiobooks have a very bad sound (mostly the older ones, recorded on bad mics) and that some books have multiple versions with different narrators, but audible has only one for each book (example: Podehl's version of "Name of the wind" is not available but the one from a different narrator is)

Audible is great BUT there's NO option to cancel the subscription, only pause it. I got a one-book credit, then got signed up permanently, as I said, I cannot do anything but pause that subscription. Luckily, my card is about to expire, so that solves that problem before I am charged again. I listen to my books OVER and OVER again.

I'd love to give Audible a higher rating, as I use it often, but there are a few pervasive issues. One being the interface isn't exactly user friendly. Searching for new titles takes a bit of detective work. Sound issues are irksome, but I believe that's the program themselves. The other glaring issue is at the end of every story or meditation a LOUD voice says, "Thank You." This has jolted me awake several times or ruined any calm the reading had provided. That is definitely a design flaw.

There are several annoying features to the app. Most annoying to me is the placement of the "Clip" button. I'm constantly touching the button unintentionally when I pick up my phone and end up with dozens of bookmarks I didn't want. If the button can't be moved to a different location, then please have it be a 2-step process to place a bookmark, as it is for changing "Speed" or setting the "Sleep Timer". Next most annoying feature is that when I minimize the screen of the book I'm listening to, the app always goes back to the "Home" location. Why can't it just be set to stay on "Library" when that's where I left it? Library is the feature I use most often but the foul app keeps resetting itself!

Essential app I use every day and has served me well over the years. However, as someone who likes to keep notes along with my bookmarks, I'd like to see this functionality expanded and improved. Here are my ideas: 1. make it easier to add notes to Bookmarks: - allow the user an option to always show the 'Add note' modal whenever he adds a bookmark (feature toggle in app's Settings?) - after tapping the '+ Bookmark' button, put the focus immediately on the Note input, so you can start typing immediately (instead of having to tap the Input notes field first) - make the Input notes field start with a capitalized letter by default (notes can be a sentence or more, so it's nice to have them formatted properly by default) - add some space between Revert and Done buttons on Add note screen 2. make it easier to Edit bookmark's note: - if you tap the '+ Bookmark' button at a location where a bookmark already exists, perhaps the app could show the Edit modal of that existing bookmark instead of the useless 'Bookmark already exists...' message. This would be a good way to add a note to a bookmark for which you've inadvertently closed the modal which asks you to add a note (this modal closes automatically after just a few seconds). 3. Allow exporting of bookmarks and notes (in json, csv or text form)
