L’application vous géolocalise et vous propose des parcours de visite à proximité, appelés "Stories". Levez votre Smartphone et explorez les lieux à 360°. 

Empruntant à la fois aux codes de la réalité augmentée et à ceux de la réalité virtuelle, Archistoire Destination Var fonctionne sur un principe de panoramas interactifs photosphériques.

Touchez les zones interactives à l’écran et accédez à des contenus exclusifs en lien avec les éléments perçus : détails architecturaux, anecdotes historiques, lecture paysagère, sons, vidéos, etc. Grâce à la réalité virtuelle, vous pénétrez aussi dans des lieux inaccessibles au public.

Photographies d’archive, cartes postales anciennes, tableaux ou gravures viennent se superposer à l’image réelle, créant ainsi un effet de “fenêtre temporelle” qui vous immerge dans l’histoire ancienne ou récente. Des illustrations permettent de reconstituer en contexte des éléments aujourd'hui disparus. 

Vous n’avez pas la possibilité de vous rendre sur place ? Vous êtes tout simplement curieux de découvrir le département du Var depuis votre canapé ? L’expérience est optimisée pour un usage “IRL” mais l’application s’utilise aussi à distance, profitez-en !

Archistoire Destination Var is an augmented visits application.

The application geolocates you and offers you nearby visit routes, called "Stories". Lift your Smartphone and explore the place 360 ​​°.

Borrowing both from the codes of augmented reality and those of virtual reality, Archistoire Destination Var works on a principle of interactive photospherical panoramas.

Touch the interactive areas on the screen and access exclusive content related to the elements perceived: architectural details, historical anecdotes, landscape reading, sounds, videos, etc. Thanks to virtual reality, you also enter places inaccessible to the public.

Archive photographs, old postcards, paintings or engravings are superimposed on the real image, creating a "time window" effect that immerses you in ancient or recent history. Illustrations make it possible to reconstruct in context elements that have disappeared today.

Can't get there? Are you just curious to discover the Var department from your sofa? The experience is optimized for “IRL” use but the application can also be used remotely, take advantage of it!

Once downloaded to your Smartphone, the application works without the need for an internet connection.
