Ancestorian is a social network built for family historians by family historians. If you want to meet and work with other ancestry and genealogy addicts in a safer alternative to large corporate social networks, this is the place. Ancestorian works in a very similar way to Facebook. You can create groups to bring people with the same interests together. You can make friends and send messages to each-other through the built in message system. And you can create posts in your feed to share what you are doing. Additionally, at Ancestorian, you get your own Blog. You can use this to build wonderful articles and stories about specific ancestors, villages, churches, buildings, histories or anything else you want to share. The best part, is that you know you are doing this all in a place that has been built especially with you and your passion for family history at it's heart. What makes Ancestorian safer? - No external statistics tracking - No social logins (Facebook, Twitter etc) tracking your movement - No advertising
