I deleted this app a year ago then I decided to use this app again - mainly to text since the feeds on Instagram could be distracting. Then when I installed it, I noticed the messages are gone. I figured out how to acess the messages eventually but it's pretty hard to access compared to before. I don't mind watching people's stories so the update isn't too bad.

This app used to be so much better, but after the last update it just sucks. The whole reason it was nice is because it was basically Snapchat but without the BS. Just a place to DM friends and post to your story, but they redesigned and it sucks. Now if someone messages me who I don't follow it doesn't come through and I can't even post to my story. Change it back!

This app was amazing and so useful.. But the latest update ruined it completely. The new bubble UI is just horrible and not functional at all. Bring back the old chat thread list UI pls. This app isn't about stories, we use it for texting.. And the feature to separate 'close friends' from others is missing now. We need it..

It messed up Instagram even when I uninstalled it. I thought it was gonna make my life a little bit easier but it made it way harder. For the love of all good things don't get this app. Not worth it.

I don't think the developers care about the reviews- literally every single one talks about how buggy it is. It's the same for me as well. I'm thinking Facebook just wants people to go back to Instagram that'd why they're chasing people away with these constant horrible updates

You know I'll be honest I'm actually enjoying using this Threads app from Instagram alot more than I thought, hm never thought I'd say that about an app. I guess you'd be surprised on what words can be used for the English language.

We just can set our status for 24 hours and it's too much time for example I'm not sleeping 24 hours I want put it on 8 hours but there is no option. It has many bugs like this .

It's smooth but has major problems •Couldn't swipe to reply • or hold and be given options to react with emojis • +Couldn't mute unwanted stories Looking forward for improvements! (And I think where media is shown in each convo could be improved as well)

App often lags out, freezes, or doesn't load messages. One thing that would be cool to add be a map to see friends - similar to SnapMap on Snapchat.

The only reason I use this is I communicate with people over DMS. I don't want anything to do with my timeline. But my goodness is this a terrible, terrible app. Notifications are flakey, the camera often crashes, and whenever I tap on a notification and open the app, the whole text chat moves off screen so I have to relaunch the app! Also I hate the swipe to close chat feature. I'd rather be able to reply or see the time I sent the message.
