I have tried other apps and came back to this one a while ago. It used to be exactly correct with the radar, but I have noticed it being off by at least 30 minutes, maybe an hour. Also, upon opening the app, it sometimes takes a full 2 minutes to load the correct info -- it seems it has to download all the ads first. Finally, the pin automatically sets to a distant part of town, so lightning that's "close to me" isn't. Bringing it down to 3 stars from 5.

Update ~2 yrs later: still LOVE this app! Newer version has given me more options for quick access to important features. Gives me all the weather data I need. Easy to navigate, even though there are lots of ads. The ads don't slow down the loading time. Love the quick access to current wind conditions - very important when you live on the coast, in a boating community. Best weather app I've found so far!

It is accurate with many visuals. alerts to your area. It is easy to select your area. It also sends alerts on the tablet. Also, there is a map with animation showing exactly where a storm is and where it is going. Developing storms are tracked and the effect of the expected areas are described to warn us what we need to do to be safe.

App is the best one, I've used it for many years. It has been acting weird. I no longer have access to the 10 day feature. It is completely blanked out. The map is also showing a stock image of rain. Then I click on the map to maximize it and it finally goes to my location but is zoomed out as far as possible. I have already force closed the app and all the other things.

App doesn't update on its own in the background. Have to open it in order to see updated info. Also, it's inconsistent... sometimes on point, other times like right now far from accurate. It's cloudy and raining where I am, yet the app days partly cloudy with 0% chance of rain. Have noticed this inaccuracy way too many times to trust it.

Driving through several states with drastically different temperatures wasn't enough for the temp display or any other display to update on its own. Overcast days are sunny, windy days are still, sunny days are overcast. 100% rain on the app has never been correct in any nearby area. From Texas to New England this app failed me again and again. The developers need to quit and pick simpler, more menial jobs that they can comprehend easier. Programming isn't for them.

The weather information is quite good with generally accurate and complete current local information and forecasts for the next 10 days. Lightning strike information is useful when thunderstorms are around. It's not 5 stars because the ads are often intrusive and delay displaying weather information. I preferred the ad-free paid app several years ago. Update: Modest subscription price for ad-free version, so 5 stars.

App used to work well, now it's totally inconsistent. Now, hourly and long term not saying something. Weather Bug suggested I reinstall app (the old reboot fixes everything). I did. Now the app tells me today that every hour is cloudy. The sun has been shining brightly all day long so far (four hour). I guess you don't need a weather man to know which way the wind blow and they can't even tell you when the sun is shining.

I dont mind this weather app. It works great. The biggest issue ive found is it doesn't give you a accurate temperature. This app gives you a feels like temperature. Until you go into app to look up the real temp. I haven't found a place to turn off this feature. I go to others apps before this because of these faults

Weather bug is buggy! Can't add widgets to home screen. When I try to add a widget I get to the part where it tells me to choose a location, but there's no way to choose a location. There is a drop-down arrow but nothing happens when you select it. Broken app (can't add widgets) = 1 star.
