I am happy to have found a sitter I like and trust. The app however, is awful. Messages take forever to go through. I have been trying to book a service for January for weeks now. I chatted with reps twice because their calendar still does not reflect 2022. It still is not fixed. Absolutely ridiculous!

I love the Wag service, but the app is terrible. Always glitches and have to close in and out multiple times to get it to work. It used to show the route the walker takes your dog. Now when you try to see the route it just gives you a world map. 🤷♀️🤦♀️

I followed their rules precisely about cancellations, and STILL got charged a fee. The app is glitchy as hell. I've had a few caregivers tell me that they try to take my booking, then it disappears, and I did not get a caregiver. They alter tips, so I look like a bait and switch customer. And customer service is condescending and never helpful. Refunds are only in app so I'm forced to book them to get MY money "back." Go local - this app's a joke.

Ok I never ever write reviews but this needs to be said. The dog walkers are fantastic. And customer service is trying their best. But the app itself is absolute garbage. It's not well built at all. It glitches constantly, is slow, the gps is inaccurate, it's difficult to change or update information, and the user can't see past report cards. The app is almost unusable. Wag, if you're reading this, your business is a brilliant idea, but you desperately need to fix the app if you want to keep customers. I really would like to stay as a customer but I'm thinking about quitting solely because of the app. Please fix the app!

App is horrendous -- payments are fraud design keep getting triple charged 8 days after a walk. Keep getting asked to submit a review on previous walk. Can't see schedule more then 3 weeks out. Walkers constantly fail to show up with consequences. I should be able to review a walker who was a no call no show, site won't allow that.

When navigating the app, multiple instances of the app open for each page I go to. Payments aren't handled well, instead of charging you and then tacking on the tip afterwards, they charge you the base. Then charge you the base again plus tip after the walk. Their reason is the first is a temp charge to make sure your account has money, but again they are effectively charging you twice until the first payment stops processing. Why not just charge base and then tack on the tip later? Like Uber.

Used to be a great service but now it just sucks. 90% of the time the walkers cancel at the last minute and no one else will cover it. We needed our senior dog walked while we were at work and the walker canceled and our dog pooped all over the living room. Pretty sure our last walker never even showed up, just said she did. Her location was turned off so it didn't track the walk and she didn't take a pic during the walk. Also our ring doorbell never went off at the time she was supposedlythere.

The walker I had didn't follow directions for my dog- she was not put back in her crate when he left. She has severe separation anxiety if left out, and I came home to that she had chewed through the screen window upstairs, and would have jumped out if I had come home any later. My dog could have been seriously hurt. I am extremely disappointed in this service, and will not be using it again. I was also not offered a refund, just credits that I will definitely not be using.

App is barely functional and usually will need to get restarted within 5 minutes of use. Would rather use the website but you can't sincd messaging walkers/sitters is only functional within the app. Great walkers and sitters but the app makes it a terrible experience all by itself.
