Terrible. Couldn't get it to work after an hour of troubleshooting. I either saw a blank screen or a loading screen. Don't get this app.

So I can confirm that it at least works? Trial is only 5 minutes long. By the time I set everything up and loaded in, I had like 2 minutes to explore my game in all its rough-streamed glory. The other way for supposed better quality is to connect via USB, but it requires tethering which my phone plan does not have. Samsung s10e with a pretty beefy computer. A 15 minute trial would be FAR more reasonable...especially considering I'd pay 30 bucks if I knew it suited my needs.

It works so well! It even worked with my gamepad wirelessly! If you want to play steam vr games and like cheap, I recommend this app!

The trial wasn't long enough for me to even load up steam VR. Much less the game I wanted to test out. You can't expect someone to buy your product if they don't have enough time to see if it works.

After a few hours of usage, I am beginning to quite like this low-budget VR option. I bought the full package (unlimited play time + GameWarp) and have thus far been able to enjoy Portal 2 and a few other games in what I can only call cinematic mode. For me, that's precisely what I was looking for, but I also think it's important that GameWarp be advertised for what it really is - a cinematic, 2D rendering of non-VR games. Otherwise, the setup is quite easy and intuitive, the only downside being a lack of in-depth documentation online. It took me awhile, but I was finally able to get a clear, uninterrupted stream that suits my needs just fine. I have been told the developers are also helpful and friendly, so that's a plus. Overall, I'd give VRidge a solid 4/5. Decent quality stream and intuitive setup, but needs more info to help users tweak settings. Also GameWarp would be more enjoyable with stereoscopic 3D.

I'm using an LG G6 device connected to my ROG G752VT laptop. Neither are top of the line anymore, but that's just fine. In addition to these two devices, I've connected a LeapMotion to the front of my Google Cardboard device and I'm able to actually use and interact with the virtual world using only my hands. It is simply *amazing*. The free app is limited to 5 or 10 minutes of play time, but for a very reasonable $15 fee you can increase it to unlimited. I would absolutely recommend this to anyone looking to take their first steps into VR. Having said that, the application isn't perfect. You will get disconnects and applications will hang. But these, in my opinion, are minor and easy to overcome compared to what you will experience.

The interface is better than anything on the "market" to date. The setup is easy and intuitive and it works like a charm. Almost instantly paid for it. For everyone who says it constantly crashes, Run the PC app as an Administrator in windows 10 and that should fix most if not all issues. Way better than trinus or the other competitors. Keep up the good work.

I was able to get my computer and device to connect and successfully launch SteamVR exactly one time since the 2.0 update. Upon accidentally disconnecting my USBC cable from my phone, VRidge 2 has decided to crash every single time I click 'OK' and SteamVR no longer seems to recognize it. This is incredibly annoying since I know it can work but simply doesn't for whatever reason. Multiple restarts of my phone, computer and both apps hasn't made a difference. Once you stabilize the app/program, I'll update my review.

-edit- It's back in working order. Thanks for fixing it! At first it was really good. Amazing even.. but, the current update did something really weird to the view you see when you open the app. I can't even explain what I see. There's multiple views now about 4 and I can't use the app like this. Please fix it somehow, if you can, you get 5 stars in return. I love this app and even paid for the full desktop version.

Lots of incompatibility with Samsung gear VR platform, and does not allow PC controls (mouse/keyboard) to function, and the 2 button gear controller is useless. Headtracking is all that works. Will try the recent update and change my review if there is any improvement. 2nd star is for the good idea, but in my experience and purposes the app is useless (streaming VR games from steam to Samsung phone/headset). 3rd star for dev reply, will contact support. haven't had time for gaming/testing lately
