Does not connect to printer anymore. And even when it did the camera never showed live stream.... Great potential. But abysmal performance of the app. Hope they fix and update

Just bought and S5 and was excited about this monitoring feature. I am very pleased and impressed with the printer itself but the app is not reliable. I was able to connect to the printer and view the feed for the first 5 hours of my first print but now there is nothing but a blank screen where my printer status should be. These issues need to be fixed. Also, you are only able to monitor the printer while on the same network. There needs to be a way to monitor when you are elsewhere.

I have an Ultimaker S5 and I'm very disappointed with this app. It literally only let's you monitor your print, when it even shows up, which is about half the time. There is no functionality for tuning settings or starting/aborting prints within the app, which in a way makes monitoring the prints useless. I like that I get notifications when a print has been started/completed, but I wish it would notify me when the printer has an issue or is out of material.

Works great. I use it to monitor my prints when I'm away from home so I can keep track of my prints incase an issue ever occurs like when a part becomes dislodged. The video monitoring also means if something goes wrong, I can kill my prints remotely before it makes a mess (separate remote switch). Only issue is it seems to show some old completed prints rather than the current job and status. I only use video streaming though anyway.

Yikes, lots of issues here. Once you start the print the app usually works (looks like it's just loading a simple browser window inside the app tbh.) Once you disconnect or switch between printer, settings or analytics it losses connection and becomes useless. Also camera is super laggy, maybe 1-2 fps in app but on web you can get live view just fine. Good first start but I expected a lot more from Ultimaker.

I have an Ultimaker 3 and the android, iphone and windows 10 software still often lose connection to the printer and the printer needs to be reset. The web interface is no more consistent. I hope the newer model of the printer has better connectivity considering how expensive these printers are. Bottom line: the Ultimaker printers are amazing printers but DO NOT buy these printers for thier app/monitor/network support. Connection to the phone/computer software is poor to acceptable at best.

Constantly loses connection to monitor. I will still get notifications but the monitor fails. I see a very quick glimpse of the print queue then it's gone. Unistall & reinstall sometimes fixes it... sometimes. If my network is at fault, then the app is more like 3 to 4 stars.

Rubbish. Finds printer ok on first print. When the connection is lost it seems impossible to find it again. Why hasn't this been improved? The app is still in version 1.1 and clearly the system needs improving. Ultimaker printers are not cheap so features like this need to work!

This app sucks if you are using your PC to print via the usb there is no way to log into your cura account and sync. If your printer isn't on wifi then you are sunk. I have the CR-10S and am printing from my pc and would LOVE to be able to see where to printing process is at.
