    Keeps cutting out with a black screen every 20 minutes or so only using it as with my three contract it doesnt use any data. Would be nice if they fix this issue if possible

    **Update: The app is now much better with features getting better. Still a few things I'd like to see but good job keep moving forward.** Used to be a great app. Now it's shocking, crashes in a regular basis and always plays generic start up commercials every channel change. Used to pay for professional but nothing worth paying for anymore. Really gone down hill.

    This app doesnt work properly. I cant stream to my smart tv. I've downloaded the app on my smart tv and xbox and its not allowing me to watch the channels we wanted. We cant even find fox, cartoon network, MTV or national geographic as they are advertised. They also offer a months free trial but they immediately took money from my account. I want a refund to be honest. I wouldn't suggest anyone download the app. Very disappointed! To your response it doesnt state that on the app anywhere.

    Have been using this app for about a year now and 90% of the time it's good, been able to watch normal TV free of charge. However, it can be quite glitchy. TV channels don't load, app freezes or at the moment on certain channels there is a sound issue. Sound keeps repeating and its about 10 seconds behind.

    A tv app that can't maintain a constant stream through Chromecast and continually buffers and hangs is of no use to me. That is what we have here. I know that the problem lies with the app as I have been able to stream ITV live successfully through a Now tv box, whereas this app buffers and hangs streaming the same channel.

    Not sure why the app keeps booting me out halfway through a show to ask me to subscribe. According to my bill, I paid up and am subscribed. Happens 90% of the time. Have to exit the app totally, enter again, search for show and then it will play again. Weird.

    Good overall, the TV guide really needs work though, would be a full 5 stars if more channels where available as on freeview line up... Integration with Prime Video and Netflix and such would really take this app to the next level.

    This app does NOT allow you to cancel your service, the email they give to cancel does NOT work. They keep taking money, but give no way to contact them. Do NOT give your information to this app!!

    I am only giving this a 1 star review! I have not watched TVPlayer for over 2 months now and yet they are still taking money out of my account. Tried to contact them on a number of occasions and still they take money. I have no money in the first place. The channels do not even work half of the time, so don't even bother!!

    I usually use this app a lot, but today all I get is a message when I open it saying "oops something went wrong" I uninstalled it and reinstalled it but the same thing happens!! Please advise or fix it Thank for your reply but the problem has not be resolved? I have since done a forced stop and this seems to have resolved the problem?

    Downloaded the app a month or so ago and had been enjoying the unlocked channels. Yesterday I paid for the locked channels to be unlocked and now I can't cast to my tv and after 20 seconds it shuts down and says failed to load channel. What is going on??? I'm not paying for something I can't watch!

    Can't watch BBC channels with this app despite paying for a licence fee. Very poor show. update 19/12/20- when a BBC channel is selected the TV player app says it is opening BBC Iplayer for which you have to sign in. I have a valid UK TV licence but do not wish to sign in just to watch BBC tv and do not wish to install bbc iplayer and media player due to it's storage space guzzling nature. Channels which do play have a black screen with audio.

    This is my first time using this app it gets about 20 seconds into the video and then it stops working and it does this for every single video goes on for 20 seconds to a minute and then it stops working I'm not going to pay $9.99 for something that's not going to work!!!!

    Been trying to view content with my paid subscription and everything is locked. Why charge me for a subscription and keep episodes locked. Having problems watching since I joined in November. I was only able to watch a few episodes before it locked all content again.

    Total, utter R-U-B-B-I-S-H !!! Useless app, not worth downloading and wasting your storage space for! I kept trying this app, because I *wanted* it to be good but, alas, NO! ( 5 times in total). EVERY time I select something to watch, it tries to start playing, then it stops, freezes and then says,"Failed to load video", and then the app crashes! Highly UN-recommended! Uninstalled.

    Needs alot of work... can't search for anything really... can't save anything... it really should be free til all that is worked out, shouldn't charge for such a janky streaming ap... there is one option in the settings lol "wifi only", on or off.... its not even basic yet its like its not even finished... if it weren't for the show on Krime "Taken" I wouldn't even entertain it... please fix these things n brainstorm some things that might make me want to stay active after I watch "Taken".. lol

    I initially had problems, but the app works fine now. I have a few issues, interface-wise it's not as clean, intuitive and powerful as TiviMate, which is the best IPTV app for android/Google TV. But TiviMate does not have any channels, you have to have some paid for IPTV channels. TVP uses your UK channel accounts, bbc, itv etc, to aggregate the channels for you. The other issues are that the image quality is not as good as satellite quality, and the interface get's in the way rather than helps.

    Every day there's issues. Avoid if possible at all costs and certainly do NOT pay for this rubbish. NO the issues have not been resolved. From day one, a year ago, the app kicks you out for no reason, you go to watch a chanel and its unavailable for some reason and its supposed to be a free channel. The sad thing is its the best freeview TV available on firestick and its awful. I live in a place where there is no coax aerial so have no choice but to stream TV. Sort it.

    @TVPlayer support, You most definitely have not fixed this issue. STOP LYING on these reviews. this is a failed app and you're team are unable to get it to work on Chromecast (and Firestick) no other app has this constant problem of FAILED TO LOAD VIDEO. Farm it out to a team of programmers who know how to get it to work like many of the other apps that work flawlessly or take it off the market as its not ready for prime time use.... In reply to messages below> Get this to work and I'll be you're biggest fan. Doesn't work on latest chromecast with google TV. £69 for chromecast and £60 for subscription and total failure. All you get is FAILED TO LOAD VIDEO. I'm signed in to my TVPlayer account ok and all other apps are working and playing fine. I've rebooted and re-installed and emptied cache. this is all new install... Is there a fix or do i just go and get my money back?

    On top of my review I found clearing the cache from the app, when opened app it asked to update bbc iplayer, opening tvplayer now works with BBC programs, thought if I download itv hub and all 4 it might work with other channels but no still black screen. ----- Update: Thanks for the reply I've responded to the email to take part in the survey, and look forward to your reply.     The best option for terrestrial streaming in the UK. Generally works well, although some of the channels could be in better resolution, Itv and C4 especially but if you live in an area with poor reception it's a good option

    Seriously, do NOT subscribe to this service. I know you're probably, like me, sick and tired of having to deal with aerials around the house and just want to watch freeview using the internet because it makes no sense for that to not be possible and practical using multicast. But give this terrible service a miss, it will only put you in a worse mood. Most of the channels are standard definition, the cloud recording feature only works for a tiny number of absolutely garbage channels that I've never heard of, and to top it all I cancelled my subscription only to find out months down the line they were still charging me via Google Play even though my account on their website says I have no subscriptions with them. It's such a shame there isn't an alternative to this rubbish - you'd think by 2019 we'd have streaming terrestrial channels sorted.

    I have this on a Roku stick. I started a free trial two weeks before Christmas, on Christmas day it was supposed to take £6.99 for premium. My account was eventually debited for the money a few days later. Unfortunately I'm still not getting premium, you've taken the money and all I've got is the basic Freeview channels. I thought I'd try it on the Android app in the hope it would work, it didn't. Very disappointed...

    App has stopped working since today. Clearing storage and cache and uninstall reinstall doesn't seem to have any effect. Was good while it lasted. Sad to see the developer doesn't seem to care much either. Provides a link to contact support into a text box that cannot be copied out. Well done guys. How about reaching out to users who have clearly said the app has stopped working. Seems you cannot be bothered. Step forward the next developer......

    I've installed this on my Samsung S6 and it works very well, surprisingly. I also have a main account on my Samsung laptop and although I've paid for PLUS max annual in advance I'm continually getting an on screen message... "Error while applying licence response Rejected with System code (18)" which for several weeks has not allowed me to watch any of the Plus channels and has now started to system code 18 some of the free channels. I've sent several emails to Technical support which has been absolutely useless.

    It only goes downhill from here. Channels that are actually available on Freeview are part of a subscription package because "it costs too much to run". They also get rid of channels for no reason, further signifying the death of this once great application. To its credit, it does its job very well, but the requirement of a subscription to watch ITV channels outside of the main ITV1 is pathetic. Don't get this thinking you can watch ITV2 for free without an aerial. Stick with Freeview.

    I've been a TVPlayer customer for over 2 years and, yes, there have been some bad times as well as good. However, I have always had good support from the company and so have stuck with it. The service gets better and better. There are many factors to a perfect service with this app, particularly if you're partial to live TV as I am. Live TV may have issues at the channel end rather than the TVPlayer app end. I have always found the people supporting TVPlayer to be responsive and problem resolution to be quick. I love the service as it gives me access to many live channels I cannot get with my other services (Freesat and Freeview). PS- I should add that the issues are very infrequent - I'd say I have a problem with the service about once every 6 months or so, give or take.

    DO NOT pay for this app. It is absolutely useless, spent two hours trying to troubleshoot it as it would only play the free live TV channels and NONE of the on demand channels (suspicious) which is the whole reason I paid for it in the first place. When I cancelled the subscription two hours later and contacted support to request a refund, their response was that I needed to go through Google for a refund. ABSOLUTE WASTE of £7. I wish I had read the other reviews and steered well clear.

    This is a SIGN UP service. You choose a BASIC, or PAY FOR package. The channels are lumped in to one long list, regardless which package you choose. Only a few seem to be available on the BASIC package. If you choose a BBC channel you are directed to the I-player. Quite frankly I can't see much point in using this app. You might as well download the players (ITVplayer, All4) for each channel bundle and get them free. For the few channels not available on freeview, I wouldn't bother with anyway.

    I have to agree with the other reviews. The subscription is no longer value for money. I used to love watching Nat Geo, Comedy Central and the crime channels. They've removed the channels and moved to a primarily on demand setup with basic live freeview. The on demand offerings are plenty but by unknown companies. I stayed with tvplayer after they lost the uktv channels hoping it was temporary, but with the loss of the other premium channels I can't justify remaining and paying a subscription.

    To be honest, I only installed this app because I was hoping it would provide some of the functionality missing from the app on my Freesat box. This app doesn't allow me to screen share / cast so doesn't help with the experience. Can't see recordings or tv guide on Freesat app. I gave two stars because I was able to test the company's offerings before spending any money. I'm very pleased because I can now cancel.

    The app is useless. You can see some of the shows it clearly has available but if you use the search function it says no results even when you can see from the home screen that the shows are there. The search finds absolutely no shows and may as well not be there. That said without a working search it's awful to navigate the app to find what you want. Sort out the search and I will consider staying subscribed!

    Regarding the previous issue, have now uninstalled and reinstalled the app and was able to sign in without a problem. I can stream live TV and cast to my TV via Chromecast. The video quality is really high, doesn't feel like a stream. The app interface is very nice and polished. I love how the service combines live TV with on-demand and gives you an overview of everything on the 'Home' tab. A few small negatives are lack of subtitle support and no lock screen icon to pause video when casting.

    this was the app I used the most, I absolutely loved it, but just lately the channels I watched the most have started to disappear slowly, then I noticed a few days ago that I've got 2 or 3 channels left that I watch, I'm debating whether or not to actually uninstall the app now, it won't be long till I turn it on and they will only be a couple of channels left 😏

    I'm not a tv person not watched tv in years but I thought I'd give this a quick butchers and it's very good. Unlike some that I've reviewed this one doesn't have the extra hiccups as a added bonus, the only let down is a bit short on free tv channels (hence 4 stars rating) . However if someone wants tv on the go then they should download the app.

It is actually ennoying that in this day and age. Having paid a tv licence. There is still no option to simply have an official click and play app without the usual troubleshooting that incline people to pay for better service. To cut a long story short.... a joke.     My wife has the iPhone's version of this player and it is far superior, if has the options of changing channels while watching TV with superimposed channel icons and tv info for channels, on my version, I have to stop the channel I am watching go back to home and choose a channel for there and do this for every channel. Please can we have the iPhone's version.

    EDIT: Also they are quite sneaky. Cancelling your subscription immediately cancels your trial, unlike app trials in Google Play, which you are able to cancel the subscription but still enjoy the trial until the end. Obviously to encourage you to stay "subscribed" in your trial until the last minute The fact a number of channels are locked out during the free trial kind of defeats the point of it being a trial. This will certainly affect my decision to end my subscription at the end of the trial

    I downloaded this app and gave the trial a go before committing. So far, i haven't been convinced that its worth £6.99 a month. When casting live TV, the video randomly skips and often just stops without recovering automatically - meaning you have to stop and start the stream again. I have a good internet connection to my Chromecast and other casting apps work much better. Shame really as i was hoping this app would be the answer to getting live tv into my room where there is no arial!

    A VERY LONG WAY TO GO TO BE USER FRIENDLY. Channels you CAN'T watch shown and "Live" can be a couple of hours time! Why on earth show me channels that say "You are not authorised to view this channel"? Where the heck is the filter to only show channels that I can watch? Also, when selecting "Live" I get shown programmes that start in the future, anything up to 2 hours time, instead of what's actual live NOW! Why? If I select "live" then I expect to see what's on NOW, not what's on next!!!

    Flaky at best. poor UI. limited personalisation settings. cannot view freeview only. shows you ALL channels including the premium ones you can't watch. streams are dodgy. buffering and freezing. for an app, it's not great. dimmed screen / channel view to make it very difficult for sight impared people to see. takes too long to load channels as it takes a screen shot rather than using the channel logo. sad and disappointing at best. average if I'm generous. NOT MY GO TO TV APP.

    Xbox one App Review: Hey there, the whole app works perfectly fine , A great alternative to freeview/live tv for a house without an aerial, great picture quality and audio, There are free channels (BBC1, ITV, Channel 4, Channel 5 and more) and there is a subscription with a handful of paid channels (History, Discovery, TLC and more) and an on demand feature for those paid channels too. Overall a great app I would recommend for anyone who struggles with no aerial/ bad aerial reception and would like to watch a selection of freeview channels live on their xbox (if you run the app on the xbox one make sure you email the support team with your postcode so they can add it to your account profile to ensure every channel streams correctly)

For example all my main channels like Discovery channel and History channel, stop working and it said I need to subscribe for £6.99.... That's all very well but £7.99 a month just got taken from my account and has been for a long time 😕 I bet next month they end up taking both amounts 🤔

    It works well, but poor channel line up. £6.99 sub suggests it is better than netflix (def not!) most channels are taken from free view, don't know why BBC channels are listed, just to beef up the appearance of choice I guess. All that's worth watching is discovery, dis turbo, Nat geo, history and fox (from premium content). Not interested in sport, yet the sub includes it, I guess that's why the poor choice.

    If you a looking for the only free legal way to watch a selection of UK channels via streaming this is your one and only option these days. It only contains a small amount of the overall channels available on Freeview but seems to be missing some of the more popular ones such as pick and e4. I really can't say this is a good option for most people looking for a main way to watch tv as any Youview service has all of freeview plus a selection of premium channels for a like for like price point.

    I had subscribed but cancelled and uninstalled, UKTV disappeared part way through a programme. useless to me. In response to developer comments, under £90 one off payment for a portable digital TV with all the channels my big TV has. Great picture, using the same external speakers I'd been using for my tablet with this app. It's even got subtitles! Thanks Amazon!

    Thanks for enabling all ITV channels again and the others which were free. Believe me it makes a big difference, I'm sure other people who left this good TV app will return like myself. My only quibble is the layout isn't as good as the pre-feb 2019 version when it comes down to channel selection now you only have the first 5 channels on the menu, before it was quick and easy to select which channel you wanted other than that I re-write my review with a full 5 stars ✨

    Signed up to premium, chrome streaming simply did not work, app continued to tell me to "sign up to premium to use chromecast features" despite me already doing so. I messaged customer service multiple times with no reply. eventually I figured out how to cancel my subscription through Google play but it took me a lot of searching and I had no help from the developers/company this app is associated with. I would not recommend and I am genuinely concerned this may actually be a scam.

    Never had to give a bad review before but felt compelled to warn people what an atrocious app this is. Constantly buffering, constantly crashing an freezing requiring endless app restarts and sign-ins. I'm sure I will be recommended to check the troubleshooting page, but after reading the plethora of bad reviews for the exact same issues I'll conclude the problem is not on my end. I really wish tvplayer the best of luck competing in this market with this app.

    Very poor app, you are forced to create an account along with a free trial and then when you do, certain channels are not available during the trial period, what is point of that? How is that a Fair trial? a free trial means that you trial the app, not trialling half of the app, ridiculous. You need to change this to make it customer friendly asap.

    Pay subscription app. OK. It works well for what it does supply, though some Freeview channels are missing.     very poor support service, if you take a free trial expect to be locked out of your account so you are unable to cancel payments then the only means to contact the developer is via a chat service which is never replied to. had to report as fraud to my bank and waiting for a charge back on my debit card for the payments. UPDATED... ISSUE RESOLVED CUSTOMER SERVICE IS BETTER THAN PREVIOUSLY STATED

I've tried closing the app and restarting, deleting and reinstalling and tried it on different devices. Please fix it because it's become unwatchable.     Not working on Android mobile. I have a Huawei Mate 20 Pro, and this now no longer works. I can see the TV guide, but nothing will play, not even the free channels like ITV. There is a play button on some of the live shows, but hitting that just takes me back to the home screen, even on Coronation Street. Sad times 😥

    I would give this more stars if it had a way to customise channel groups. eg. It can be hard to locate BBC news channel because it is way down the 'all' list and can't be found in another group. Excellent replacement for Freeview but the premium services cant match Virginmedia or Sky. Used and works well on 3 Android tv boxes and 3 tablets from android 4.4 to 7.1.

    I love this app and now that thay have added the feature to send it to my Chromecast it's got even better. I'm subscribed to the service because they have really decent documentary channels and it's a very inexpensive way to watch them, not looking at you sky 😂 The only thing I will say is some of the channels, the quality is a bit poor so hopefully that is improved in the future naming discovery channel looks a bit s**t! lol without being misleading quite a lot of the channels have good quality

    Garbage. paid for subscription, installed app on tablet, cant get a single channel. Every channel just says "problems loading the stream. try again later". Support pages useless. 'chat' option just gave automated "we'll get back to you in 72 hours" response. Surprise surprise no response yet. Now Tv looks a better bet.

    Tried twice (once on my tv and once on my mobile app) to register an account with TVPlayer and in both cases I filled all the fields as it asked but the OK button was greyed out and it wouldn't let me continue. I even tried a different email/password combination but it didn't help. Sometimes I think companies like this just don't deserve my money, so I gave up...

    For some reason chanels such as fox, comedy central, MTV etc are now coming up with a notice saying those chanels are no longer available. The only ones working are the likes of BBC 1, ITV and various ITV chanels, channel 4 and other channel 4 channels, etc etc.. I can watch the likes of these on their individual platforms rather than paying £6.99 a month. Will this problem be fixed please?

    The streams are for the most part terrible and unwatchable. 50mb connection yet can't sustain a stream for more than a few minutes. End up missing half the show. Tried support suggestions by clearing cache, reinstalling etc, but still the same! Cancelling subscription!

    Not even 24 hours since I downloaded this app and I love it already. I am a Freeview TV watcher. I do not do the big name 'market leaders' subscription services because in my opinion they are a waste of money. This app is prefect. My only gripe is the inability to cast it onto my TV via my Chromecast. Should that be available on the app. I will give it 5 stars and order the whole year premiere subscription option.     Best option in UK! Very good so far, more live channels and more hd channels for premium needed. I am switching from nowtv and i am impressed. More premium channels than nowtv, im using a Chromecast works good. News channels dont load properly i can see the loading bar from YouTube, maybe remove news channels and add direct links directly to YouTube. Btw it took me a long time to find the perfect live TV paid service and this is clealy the best and cheapest option available.

    must channel's are subscription based. there are a few free channels but i cant believe you made itv 2 and itv 3 subscription based last night. there are many free apps Which do the same as this and even better. its not worh 7 pounds a month. update: only 3 channels work. only reason i have it because my provider (three) don't charge me data on this but your useless you cant even open any bbc channels. worst tv app i ever seen or used

    the only down is that sometimes it doesn't work on my samsung tv for no reason and I have to wait hours or a day or two luckily when this happens I can cast from my S8 phone to the tv. Trying to figure out how to cast to chromecast so that the kids can watch it in their bedroom... how do I cast to chromecast???

    Just installed the app and started free trial. I cannot cast in free trial mode so cant judge how i can view your content. Also very bad buffering. I dont want to watch on my phone and im not staying if the serivice is very poor. i have fibre optic and nowtv is fine ! Disappointed.

    Just hangs on logon. Support was incredibly bad and kept on asking me the same questions (I gave them everything in the initial email). Clearly didn't read any read my emails. Edit: I gave up trying to get it fixed, it felt like I was getting nowhere fast.

    I have been looking for a way to watch TLC without sky or virgin. I was excited to see TLC catch up. What it doesnt say is only a few episodes that played recently are available but more importantly there are so many adverts! I'm watching in the early hours when most programs have one advert or even none. Also the adverts come on very loud and the same ones every time. If I pay I want more choice and no adverts!

    I have the amazon app as a last resort as have no aerial I will delete as soon as I can. most tv shiws are out of sync and stop every few minutes.. when app crashes which is regularly I have to restart and unplug everything basically all round a waste of money.

    Bring back the channel surfing!! Great app for accessing UKTV (you need the correct set up if out of normal access area). But recent update has stopped the ability to channel surfing... You have to go back to the main menu every time :-(

    App is well designed and smooth to use. However, when casting to a chrome cast, it will stop casting every 5 minutes or so, then I have to re select the channel I was watching. Can't give a positive review until that is sorted.

    As others have mentioned, it has died. What was once a very useful App and handily part of Three's Go Binge, now just continually gives a "failed to load video" or "TVPlayer has Stopped". Time to find a replacement and time for Three to give a better option.

    Not really sure what other people's issues are, perhaps a slow connection? It does buffer, very occasionally, but what streaming app doesn't? £6.99 for basic? Much better value than NowTV, I mean, seriously, why do I even need tv anymore?

    It's a shame, was a good app but now forces us to open other apps to watch TV i.e iPlayer. The dark theme is a good idea but fails you now can't see the channel name in the TV guide and doesn't look athletically pleasing.

    Cancelled my subscription due to annoying issues with the app on Sony Android TV. For example the message you get asking if you are watching, you press ok I am watching and it throws you out anyway. And of course the tv guide that never works, which kinda ruins everything.

    App in my opinion is no good since the change of ownership. A majority of the decent channels that make the app worth subscribing to have been removed. The new on demand channels don't make up for this. Avoid at all costs. Your better off spending your money on now TV.

    Rubbish! ITV and ITV2 are the only channels i can stream on my hdmi stick, the rest they expect you to subscribe! BBC channels you get to view about 3 seconds and then freezes, tried clearing cache etc but nothing!....uninstalled!!!

    Pathetic app! Watching the rugby world cup and it goes off 4 minutes before the end. Then when tried to re load (several times) it kept stating again at 76mins and then playing for about 30 seconds and going off again. So I missed the final whistle! Fuming!

    Was OK for the first year or so but now it malfunctions more often than it works. Am using an older android version. Two months since it first stopped working, the App is still not working (can see the guide but cannot play anything, including non subscription channels). Would have hoped this fundamental problem to have been fixed. Absolutely no point for me to have the app. Can't watch anything, justify the monthly subscription for extra access, or store recordings anymore. It's a shame.

    Customer service is a joke. Have spent the past week trying to get a problem sorted out without any joy. The premium channels have constant buffering problems (When they work ). Terrible Service.
