--- This App requires the Xposed Framework! --- Attention: The statusbar icon currently only works properly with AOSP ROMs! This is due to a Xposed bug which will hopefully be fixed soon. Here's a workaround for CM12 and other non AOSP ones which implemented the CM Theme Engine: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=60026556&postcount=176 This Xposed module will restore the good old silent mode from Kitkat in Lollipop. The missing silent mode has been one of the most discussed issues after the release of Android 5.0. There are various workarounds but this app is the only real fix for the issue. The most popular workaround is to disable all priority interruptions and use the Priority option to substitute the silent mode. But this comes with two problems: • Now you can't use the Priority mode for it's actual use: to allow certain notifications and block others • You won't have any LED Notifications in Android 5.0 (Google at least fixed this in 5.1) By installing this app and activating the module in the Xposed installer you will be able to use the Silent mode as in prevous versions of Android: By putting your device into the Vibrate mode and pressing Volume Down. In silent mode you will still receive all notifications (contrary to the new None or Priority mode), but there won't be a sound or vibration, just a silent LED or ambient display notification. The pro version of this app will allow you to display a statusbar icon when the device is in silent mode. You can't buy or afford the in app purchase? Fret not! I'm offering you a "Freeload" option in the app which enables all pro features without paying a dime! (Although I would be very happy if you decide to support the further development of this module in the future, of course). 🔕 Additionally this module offers you to get rid of another Lollipop quirk once and for all: You can unsilence Alarms. By default Lollipop blocks your Alarms when your device is in the "None" mode. While Google introduced a workaround in 5.1 which wil disable the mode prior to ringing the Alarm, this option allows you to just set and forget your device to None. No more fear of missing an alarm in the morning! ⏰ 😄 The module currently only supports Android 5.0, 5.0.1 and 5.0.2, only. Support for Android 5.1 is in beta testing and will be ready, soon! If you have any issues or don't understand the purpose of this module please contact me first before leaving any bad review. Looks like it is designed for AOSP roms. The stock LG v10 isn't compatible. Purchased the pro upgrade hoping it might fix it, but no such luck. Any way to get my $2.99 back?
Cory
Thank you so much. Is there any way we can get a feature where we can schedule silent mode? It can be pro-only. I'd pay for that for sure.

I have Samsung Galaxy s5 running cm 12.1. It says that the module isn't activated in xposed installer although xposed and other modules are running fine.

Does what it is supposed to. Requires installation of Xposed Framework which requires root. Both of these require some work and I recommend any prospective user do some research to understand the implications of that.

Ignore the reviews. Must be Rooted and have Xposed installed. If you do NOT know what both of those are do not install orgive bad reviews.

Says "Xposed installer" required, but which app is that?? I searched for those words and no app matches. Also searched on "Xposed framework" and no match there either. I'm not a developer, have mercy on us basic end users....

Works for ZTE Blade A110 (API 22/5.1). EDIT 28/04/2019: Works great with j4velin's "Media-Mute".
