Since the latest update app will not open for me. I have uninstalled and reinstalled with no luck. Have reached out for support but have yet to hear back.

Maybe I'm doing something wrong but the app wont load. The screen continually flashes and displays a google error message "network problems prevent loading of login page". I have cell and wifi connectivity (full bars). I have to force quit app to get my phone back. Does the catalyst antenna need to be plugged into the phone when you start the app? Running samsung galaxy 8+ android 8.0.0 stock verizon config. Will rate higher once I can get into the app.

LATEST UPDATE: Update cure tonight ! Yaye. Recent Android 11 update created problems where 3d party apps which worked before no longer could access Trimble's more accurate location, so at least a dozen or more apps were tested and none would work with Trimble any more. (I'm using the DA-1 ext usb antenna by Trimble and their Catalyst subscription service). Communicated with nice folks at Duncan-Parnell & Trimble and tonight they rolled out app update which appears to enable the 3d party apps to take advantage of sub-meter accuracy once again. Great. Too bad the TMM app won't let us simply export a session's worth of waypoints because Penmap and Terraflex are beyond the reach of non-professionals in my opinion after buying the DA-1 and paying for Catalyst service. Then we'd have a usable suite for non-profits or small landowners. At least Trimble is bringing unprecedented consumer accuracy down in cost. ORIGINAL: It requires putting the phone into Developer mode and then altering settings like "mock location", etc. to work with most apps per instructions. ... The Manager kinda resembles a DOS app in a Windows era ?

Update: While we still have no idea as to the cause, a very helpful support member has been helping me track it down. It took about a week to get through to someone helpful, but they have impressed me with their CustServ👍5⭐ for effort. (OP:After I grant the three permissions it sticks on a "No network data connection" white screen of death. No sign in screen, no options to go into settings, nada. Doesn't matter if I'm on wifi or 5g LTE, and yes, my phone data is on and works/...)

There is always some glitch that prevents Catalyst from working, usually related to the subscription - yet I'm in good standing. Very hostile to the user. I simply CANNOT recommend it.

DA1 not working any more since the update ("check your cable..."). Really poor experience for such an expensive service...

Well, I have an update, and nothing is working, impossible to connect, check your cable. All is ok. I hate thses companies who are not checking the update to see if it is working. Another wasted day.

It is incredible how unreliable this piece of kit is. Every month there seems to be a new issue we have with it or another of the driving pieces of software. Out in the hills in scotland surveying today and third way through 50 assets it will not log in to the server, nothing can be done. Best of it is this a revisit after the other korec software that goes with it lost our data last month. Now that's two wasted visits to Scotland, not cheap, and twice we have had to let our client down.
