I'm about to buy a traeger grill, and I thought checking the app out prior to spending any money, which turned out to be a splendid idea. The problem is, upon starting the app, the required registration is not working, and the error message given is simply"User sign up failed" - which is not overly useful. I don't really know how do they want to have new customers if their app is not working.

The app is pretty cool in that you have control over the grill and can monitor the grill..."mostly". The app is inconsistent in sending notifications. I would prefer to use the keyboard for the timer instead of the dumb wheel thing. It sends notifications to clean the grill, but as far as I can tell no way to clear those notifications. It would be nice too have a grill cleaning schedule you can check off.

Just like all the other people, first season the grill, second try to connect wifire and no luck just sets and tried to verify connection, I hope these thing can cook without trouble as in auger burn back uneven heat. But I am used to technology not working, I farm and tech is a headache bit is getting better, just getting closer for cooperate takeover, I guess should have stayed with the old Weber and charcoal and wood chips.

Love the control of the grill and monitoring, etc. Recipes are great What drives me absolutely insane, at least on Android, you can't see any of the creators recipes by clicking on their profile on the main page. You can pull up there profile and it's just blank... This seems like such a basic thing to have working and fixed and it's driving me nuts. Fix this one thing and it's a NEAR 5 star cooking app

The app has great recipes and everything, but my brand new ironwood 885 won't connect. I've gone through the whole setup process about a dozen times, and every time it says it was successful and needs to restart the app to finish the setup. The app restarts and my ironwood isn't saved to my grills. This is hot garbage.

Setup up my brand new 780 today. Had no issues with connecting it to WIFi. With Wifi all setup firmware upgraded with no problems. Currently seasoning it. Unfortunately controls for the 780 via the app are very limited. For example you can't change the temperature from f to c via the app, but you can do it directly on the 780. One feature I would love to see added to this app is a cook temp history, similar to what most other probs provide. Webber iGrill for example.

Can't get grill to connect to my wifi! I tried everything I can think of! I'm using 2.4g wifi as suggested and it will not connect! Very frustrating! I researched this problem on Google and it seems a lot of people are having this problem! Called traeger support and went through the process of troubleshooting, still couldn't get it connected! They sent me out a new controller board and that didn't work either! That's really sad! All I wanted the wifire for was so I could monitor the temperatures

Cannot get app to connect to my grill any longer with new phone Samsung 21S Ultra 5G for make now with recipes. Worked fine with my old phone. App is communicating with grill because I get temperature alerts. App version doesn't match grill and can't update the app. Have tried deleting and reinstall but that didn't work either.

Does not connect to Samsung Phone at all. Had a Google Pixel 4, did ok. Got my new Samsung S21 and it won't connect. Not even with my wife's S20. There is no shutdown mode from the grill, have to turn off and let cool down! Bit frustrated but the grill cooks great food!

Controls grill and tons of good recipes but lots to improve. Always cuts music off when starts, why? Timer in app is worthless. Cook times can be way off, like not even in close. Recipe instructions are not written for inexperienced cooks and often leave out items in ingredients list or prep instructions. Be careful, seems like some of these have never been cooked by Traeger. That said I have cooked a lot and almost all are really good.
