precise location (GPS and network-based)
Allows the app to get your precise location using the Global Positioning System (GPS) or network location sources such as cell towers and Wi-Fi. These location services must be turned on and available to your device for the app to use them. Apps may use this to determine where you are, and may consume additional battery power.

I've been using 2 keychain trackr Bravo for 3 years now. I never failed to find my lost each time. One is sitting inside my wallet, and another is chained to my keys. I tried some other products and none of the competitors have a solid reliable dedicated app with a unique collaborative method to make my phone detect some lost keys and automatically notify the owner (then, thank me for my participation). The bottom line is that this gadget is a MUST HAVE. Check reviews on YouTube and see.

  2. Carol Winters-avatar

The device that I have connected to my keys will not pair with my phone even though it is sitting right next to it. Previously have had it paired. It loses connectivity frequently. And then you can't find your device or your keys. The battery runs down very quickly and then you have a dead battery and then you can't find your keys. We have switched to tile!

  3. Jake Syma-avatar

Feb. 19, 2020: I have the current (Jan. 2020) update, but the app crashes every time on my Android phone. The iOS version of the app works just fine on my iPad, but I just can't seem to get the Android app to work on my Samsung Galaxy S7.

  4. Luke Hueber-avatar

It was easy to download the app and connect them to the app. In the first test seems pretty impressive. But then it shows the one sitting at the store that I had stopped at. It's not moved from that position since. Another one someone brought me to the airport with one in that car. And it shows it sitting halfway back from the airport.

  5. e z-avatar

not bad, battery life seems kinda short, but still testing the new ones. the old ones, of which i still hae 2 arent as bad. th sound for finding them is great, the location is only as good as gps, but once close, the soud solves the rest, as long sa the battery lasts.

  6. Raul da Silva-avatar

Works well for me, but recently (last update) the app started pushing a "Background Service" persistent notification that I can't turn off without suppressing all notifications. I believe this is a Google requirement now for apps running in the background, but it's annoying. Google should allow a user do dismiss these once they are aware of the background process.

  7. Diana Reynolds-avatar

I initially connected TrackR to my phone, attached it to my keys and it operated as expected for a couple of weeks. It dropped the connection and now I have to figure out how to connect it again. It had been disconnected for a few days and I didn't realize it until reading the date my items were last seen. What good would it do me if I had misplaced my keys? I did get a message that I helped someone else through crowd locate, however.

  8. Connie Scott-avatar

Crowd locate doesn't work! In fact it doesn't even work from my own phone. It doesn't connect to the tracker bravo. I have seen it run and run and run without connecting. Every time I open it it asks me to turn on crowd locate even though I have it already turned on in my settings. I'm close to some of mine every day and yet the history shows the last sighting from a year ago

  9. Kevin Hudson-avatar

Not what I thought I have never been able to locate anything using this device unless I am close enough to see it. Can't even locate misplaced keys at home unless the phone happens to connect to it. Which means you have to be in the same room. I have permanently lost a wallet with a tracker device in it. I give 2 stars because it can help you find misplaced items with tracker devices attached if they are in the same room and are actually paired. Other than that, I find it useless.

  10. Steven Sala-avatar

My TrackR consistently lasts only around 3 months, far short of the claimed 1 year battery life. It also disconnects far too much to be reliably useful. I've since switched to Tile and it's been far better. However, as of the recent update to the TrackR app, I now have a persistent notification saying it's using background services. Why? I've signed out of the app and cleared the storage and cache, and yet it's still doing something in the background?

  11. Jackie Denham-avatar

I do like the tracker. Am using the few that work. Some do not connect even after new batteries are changed.I would give 5 stars but the first one I connected tells me I have low battery. The next did the same. I purchased 3x3pack and 1 x5 pack, all say need batteries. I bought new batteries for all,not a good design to change . Needs a turn screw on back so you can change the battery.

  12. Martin Ainsworth-avatar

    Martin Ainsworth

Overall I like the trackers and the app but a couple of things made me have to uninstall it. This app was causing my phone Bluetooth to be choppy when I was listening to music or podcast also the fact that you can only use 11 trackers without "performance problems" is stupid seems like a pretty low number for a product that You're supposed to use to find "anything" that being said it has helped me find my keys and remotes before but I cannot use it on my main phone because of the Bluetooth

  13. Kay B-avatar

I am ALWAYS misplacing my phone! TrackR has successfully helped me find my lost phone with a special continuous ringtone that wont stop ringing until I actually find it. The only reason I gave it 4 stars and not 5 is because the app keeps crashing and their GPS locations need to refresh itself with each new find in the Alexa integration. Even when it just found the phone, the next time I use the service, Alexa says it was last seen over a week ago at a place I haven't been in 4 weeks

  14. Ana WeAreSUCHGirls-avatar

    Ana WeAreSUCHGirls

Absolute garbage. I wouldn't give 1 single cent on this tracker. Right after setting it up, the tracker stopped working, which makes it 100% useless. Tracker refuses to connect to my phone. Money flushed down the toilet.

  15. Jason G-avatar

Great idea, but the TrackR device almost never successfully connects to my phone. The "last seen" feature works ok but I can never page my phone or device. Overall, not worth it since it doesn't work correctly.

  16. Shirley Beck-avatar

I love them and even got more for friends. However the battery runs out too quickly. And I have no replacement when it ran out. Company should put 1 extra battery in pack so you have time to send for a new one and not lose use of the trackr while waiting for new battery.

  17. Jarrad Lewis-avatar

Recent update has an annoying push notification that wants to constantly bring it to my attention that the Trackr background service is running. Haven't seen what it does to my battery yet, but it can't be cleared, so it's always doing something in the background apparently

  18. Ricson Tolentino-avatar

    Ricson Tolentino

I'm on Android OS. Connetion to my trackR Bravo intermittently fails. To get it back, I "clear data" on the app. Then re-start the app.. login.. then everything is okay (connected again)

  19. Michael Aldcroft-avatar

    Michael Aldcroft

Spoke on numerous occasions about the app not working properly.Press recent history & it just remains blank. Put new batteries in & still get a message saying need new battery. When it does work it is quite good but sometimes it does not update location for days even with new batteries.

  20. Stephen Baker-avatar

App and TrackR are now useless. Cant even open the app, crashes everytime, tried a reinstall, TrackRs cant communicate with phone. Running on a Samsung S8+, with up to date Android OS and all other security installs.

  21. Jon Selin-avatar

Batteries don't last as long as I'd like, but Trackrs are still useful & reasonably priced. I wouldn't mind an optional larger version that accommodates a longer life battery for tracking certain items.

  22. Icarus Tage-avatar

App team will for the day I got it. Haven't had to open it since. 4 weeks later, (today). Lost my keys, and the app won't run. Can't ring my keys as the app crashes ever two seconds or less.

  23. Jacky Gembe-avatar

Great product. The app works fine plus gave me a free battery when it notified me that the one I have now is dying.

  24. Amy H-avatar

The little trackers never connect to my phone where I can find anything and when you push the little button try to find your phone they won't connect.

  25. Josaphine C-avatar

It is great when it works. But that's not all the time. And it often wont locate my phone when I press the fob. Which is what I really need!

  26. Rajan Medhekar-avatar

Nice device and app but wish device ring could be louder and longer. In fact seems its fixed at 3 seconds and slider is grayed out.

  27. Evan Flory-avatar

The tracker has a very limited range and sometimes my phone can't even pick up the signal when my keys are right next to my phone

  28. William Eloshway-avatar

    William Eloshway

I couldn't get the map app where I can see something I left pop-up had a lot of difficulties with it wasn't easy as you make it out to be

  29. Craig Wignes-avatar

Device never connects to tracker, even when sitting next to it. Battery life is atrocious.

  30. Jonathan Martin-avatar

    Jonathan Martin

Randomly disconnects and won't reconnect unless you have both the phone and the tracker in hand. Absolutely useless for finding lost items.

  31. Ross Kockelman-avatar

Junk, don't waste your time. Battery is dead right away, says not connected when I actually need it to work. My wife said it was cheap but this isn't even worth the $15.

  32. Eli Blackwood-avatar

So far so good,,,I have used it twice, once ro find my keys and once i used my TrackR on my keys to find my phone! Wish it had more range.

  33. Athol Cohen-avatar

Generally very good. Sometimes the alerts can be annoying. Having the app with an "On/Off" euros be nice.

  34. Jessica Galindo-avatar

    Jessica Galindo

Free batteries after you pay postage which cost more than if you bought the batteries in Amazon. Won't stay connected with phone. Almost never works!!!!

  35. Brian King-avatar

Excellent. Works as stated. I have it attached to my keychain and I had my daughter hide my keys a few times in various places and I found them every time.

  36. Gary Maughan-avatar

Works occasionally, identifies spots item should be that I've never been to, and tells me item is in garage when its 120km away.

  37. Emy Miller-avatar

I am always loosing my stuff. My husband bought this for me and I used it twice the day we got it. Very helpful

  38. Ray M-avatar

Absolutely rubbish product and app. Save your time and money and get something that actually functions and provides after sales support as opposed to a Customer service black hole

  39. Jesse Seeley-avatar

Crashes ALL the time. In its defense, might be a recent Android update??

  40. David Horwitz-avatar

Customer support is non existent. My Bravo failed. I replaced the battery & it worked less than a day & the App on my Pixel 4 XL suggested I do a firmware update. I did that & it killed the Bravo. Junk.

  41. Jennessa Leigh-avatar

Something doesn't work right, either the device or the app. Maybe both.

  42. Matt Smith-avatar

Battery life is only a couple of months and now the app will no long open.

  43. karp1945-avatar

Does not work as expected! Very expensive for service you get.

  44. Vicki Shrope-avatar

Purchased as Christmas present. Set our trackers up Christmas day. Batteries dead 1 month later. On vacation (the purpose of trackers) so I can't get new batteries. Useless.

  45. WaltznKatz knh-avatar

Dislike up date with background service on my top bar. Uninstall any way the give 3rd degree for free LIFE time battery and make it hard to get it now. Thou ive only replace 2 in the last 3 years.

  46. Chris Hall-avatar

App keeps crashing. Have tried uninstalling and loading with no luck. Have made the switch to Tile.

  47. Beej-A Koupps-avatar

PLEASE make the background service's persistent notification go away... otherwise not bad (the app; Pixel needs work though)

  48. Vincent Papineau-avatar

    Vincent Papineau

Won't open and just keeps crashing on my Note 9. Used to be a four star, not anymore. USELESS TRACKR TAGS NOW!

  49. Marty R-avatar

Update: I finally got it to install and everything is working normal now for the items that I track.

  50. Oscar Jose Carlino-avatar

    Oscar Jose Carlino

Excellent presentation, very easy to use and not expensive .

  51. Kim Myers-avatar

These work great, even put on on my puppies collar to track him.

  52. Raven Joyce-avatar

The app is pretty easy to follow and use, definitely no complaints yet.

Love it, but I put the new battery in and it wont connect?

  63. TJ Tadej-avatar

Love the product, it recently stopped..let you know when tech support gets back to me.

  64. J M-avatar

Couldn't do with it. Kept losing my keys. TrackR is the best invention for lost items.

Described very simple, don't waste you money buying the devices, they just last a week and then die, also the range for located your stuff is not impressive. Garbage.

  66. andrew andrew-avatar

So far great experience app can be laggy at times but that's it

  81. John Gannon-avatar

    Works briefly, then fails.

  82. Emma Shealer-avatar

1st they claim they will supply you with batteries when your batteries die. Well I have sent about 5 emails to their support team only to have them not answer you. I also found out another company brought TrackR and sent the support team there an email only to have them ignore me. Well, guess what, who needs customer service like that? Not me...I brought Tile now. The hell with you TrackR!

  83. Nir Noam-avatar

Nice app and useful inexpensive gadget

  84. Derek Handson-avatar

My Trackr Pixel disconnected the next day and there is no customer service available. Please DO NOT BUY. I only got it because my Tile expired and it was on sale.

  85. Warren Schmidt-avatar

I don't know if I like this app as it relies on other people having the app to pick up your device

  96. Steve Rubalcava-avatar

This system worked perfectly for the first two days, then just completely stopped working. The app (on three separate phones) will only accept two devices. Pairing a third device never happens and all functioning has come to a stop. Great concept, if it worked. I purchased multiple TrackR devices and I have to NOT RECOMMEND buying this product.

  97. Rene S.-avatar

The battery dies out too quickly. I tested it only twice. Turned it off. Turned it on the following day & already battery at 2 bars with notification to place order. Not even a full 30 minutes past before battery shows 2 bars ☹. Battery life should be at least that of a cell phone battery life or close to it. Good idea. Not too much thought placed in battery life. Please upgrade battery life. Thank you

  98. Natalie Dunn-avatar

I use trackr for my cat, wallet, and keys. It works perfectly well for all of my needs. I keep tracker on my cat's collar and that way when I lose my phone I can call my cat over and use her tracker to find my phone. When my cat breaks out of her safety collar, I can quickly locate the collar using the tracker app. While the app doesn't immediately connect with the objects, I prefer to have to wait 5 minutes for the app to reconnect with the tracker rather than for this app to drain my battery

  99. Wesley Boynton-avatar

App routinely has trouble establishing a connection, but does little in the UI to improve the user experience in these instances. Having a reasonable timeout or period before displaying suggestions like "the trackr might be out of battery or too far away -- try moving to another floor or room" would help users feel that the app isn't hanging indefinitely -- which sometimes it actually does (there have been instances where my device BT can see a trackr by MAC address, but the app does nothing).

  100. Zoa Mish-avatar

Used to be just ok. Decent response when batteries died. Now, app suddenly stopped working. Multiple reinstalls did not help. 4 separate requests for help to support email all received no response whatsoever over a 2 week period. Do not use this product.
