I would prefer actual grid lines to the dots, in the UTM overlay, so a choice would be nice, but in either case, the grid lines need to be constantly identified (by two digit number), and the area covered by the map displayed in the margin. A "pop-up" box, displaying both UTM grid, and Lat/Long of a point would be useful also, for search, rescue, and recovery.

When I tried to use this app, it said I didn't have enough "root-level storage", so I tried to click "Set" so the data would go to the 8TB SSD which IS my "root-level storage", but got the same error message, so I tried clicking on "Continue Anyway", (since I DO have a single-partition 8TB of " available storage space" in the "root-storage memory" area), & then the app says "Loading", but after about 4 seconds, it just " loops" the memory-access indicator. Less than useless!

Unable to manually enter a waypoint in the free version. When I go to paste in the coords, the dialog closes. The app has a nice GUI and is simple to use. Also, it uses very little battery. I was going to buy it until I ran into the waypoint problem.

Very familiar with paper topo maps for decades. Good maps, but paper versions provide a "bigger picture" of surrounding areas with greater ease. Unfortunate limit of a phone screen size.

Exactly as expected. USGS topographic maps for the entire U.S. NOT Google maps; does not calculate route or travel time. You can search for locations and it will mark your location, provided the device you are using has location capability.

This just showed up on my phone when I got it. I love maps and this one is really easy to use and the detail is incredible. I'm going on a tour of national parks in Southwest America in about a month and I'm sure I'm going to use it a great deal.
