How to install The Trail on Android 5.1+
You'll need about 733.4 MB of free space (the APK plus 646.5 MB of game data).

- Open the file — tap the download notification, or open Files › Downloads and tap com-kongregate-mobile-thetrail-google-210202-67635871-deb3b1ccb93e08c582732eab339119c9.apk.
- Allow the install (first time only) — Android 8 and later asks for permission the first time an app opens an APK: tap Settings in the prompt, turn on Allow from this source, then go back.
