Cet ouvrage est la traduction d’un résumé de l’exégèse du Coran, qui est une œuvre accomplie en plusieurs volumes par Ismaïl b. Kathîr (mort en 774 de l’hégire).

Dans l’introduction de son exégèse, ce savant musulman expose la meilleure méthode pour l’explication des versets coraniques. Il dit : La plus juste des méthodes est d’expliquer le Coran par le Coran. Si ce procédé te « fatigue », tu peux alors usage de la Sunna : celle-ci explique le Coran, l’illustre. Grâce à Dieu !

Cet humble travail de traduction a été fait dans le respect de cet esprit-là. On rapporte fidèlement, pour les segments ou les versets coraniques, les explications données, les hadiths du Prophète (psl) correspondants et les passages coraniques.
This book is the translation of a summary of the exegesis of the Qur'an, which is a finished work in several volumes by Isma'il b. Kathir (died 774 AH).

In the introduction to his exegesis, this Muslim scholar exposes the best method for explanation of Quranic verses. He said: The cheapest methods is to explain the Koran by the Koran. If this process you "fatigue", you can then use the Sunnah: it explains the Qur'an illustrates. Thanks to God !
