Quite challenging, took 8 tries to clear first stage. You only get one life to start, and it takes an hour of grinding just to unlock level 1 skip or 2 lives. To get a less tedious experience, you need to spend real money on upgrades. That said, response and movement on my Samsung A20 is extremely smooth and it rewards real skill. The total lack of ads pushes this game closer to 5 star the more i play it.

I wish people would stop reviewing games after playing for 5 seconds. Yes you only start out with one life but once you upgrade (with in game coins) the max you get is 6. There are no P2W mechanics here, game is a tad grindy but isn't that the point of games like this? In app purchases are completely optional and only there to support the devs, which you totally should do because this game is clearly a labor of love. Pro tip: upgrade your super Weapon first to level 5, then upgrade your coins.

This is a offline game but required 1 time online license check. 5.5 🌟 Missing 0.5 🌟 from me due to SD resolution. HD will be better. FHD will be over do. Tips: Buy [super weapon] and [Greedy dragon] which ever cheaper. Then [Iron armour] to add life and [great coin]. Max out [Super Weapon]… then buy [Golden striker] and max out [Machine gun]. After that, max out [Great Coin] and [Iron armour].

Cool game There is a small bug. After successfully killing first boss, I had machine gun upgraded to the point, where 1st level starts already with 3 lines of bullets. And so, when continue to play, 2nd level starts for some reason, with only 2 lines of bullets. Why such downgrade? Other wise it's fun game

Good game but can be improved if users are given opportunity to shoot by themselves rather than making it easy or being killed or destroyed easily.

I love this game but there is 1 thing thats not good for you the developer. The title needs to have one good title for both the appstore and playstore and especially the actual game. In the playstore its called Pixel Craft: Retro Shooter and when you actually open the game the title screen says space war retro shooter. On the appstore its called Pixel Craft: Space Shooter and when you open the game on an iphone it says the same thing. But the title should only have 1 name for all and thats bad

I want to love this game but you only get 1 hit and you die.. JUST ONE. I don't think I've gotten past 10 seconds of play time. Why would I come back?! Open game, check daily junk.. okay play.. Find one random tiny bullet I couldn't see because of the hand blocking.. and, done. At least give us health, or 3 hits, or something reasonable.

While not as polished as Shmup Holic's other game, "Retro Shooting," "Space War - Pixel Craft" is a nice piece of programming in its own right. The action is furious, akin to Japanese "Bullet Hell" shooters, the power up system is just satisfying enough to keep you coming back for more, and the 8-bit graphics have style to spare. Give it a try before "Retro Shooting," and you won't be disappointed. Both games occupy a coveted spot on my home screen, along with "Bullet Hell Monday," a favorite.

This game is really fun and the fact that there are power ups. Makes it better mostly because if they weren't there is would be extremly hard but this is a great game!
