The ‘Smarter Subway’ app provides you with smarter and more convenient Korean subway trips/lifestyles with all the information including real-time arrival information, an intuitive subway route map, the optimal route and predicted time, fare, and more.

■ 1. Quick and accurate ‘Subway Information’
- Provides the latest subway information in the Seoul Metropolitan Area, as well as Busan, Daegu, Gwangju, and Daejeon
- Provides official subway timetables and real-time subway arrival information
■ 2. Search for stations and routes with convenience
- Station Search: Search the station name and see the location of the station on the route map immediately
- Quick Search: Easily search for a route using a station registered in favorites
- Recent Search: Check routes recently searched, and pin favorite routes to the top
■ 3. User-centered ‘Optimal Route Provision’
- Customize your route search by basing it on departure, arrival, and last train times, via stations and more
- Provides detailed route information such as duration, estimated cost, quick transfer and alighting, toilet location, to and more
■ 4. Intuitive ‘Subway Route Map’
- Understand complicated subway lines and stations easily
- With the express route map, express train stops can be checked immediately
■ 5. Smart arrival notifications – ‘Arrival Alarm, Share Arrival Time’
- Don’t miss your transfer stations and destination with the arrival alarm
- Easily share your arrival time through ‘KakaoTalk’
■ 6. ‘Multilingual Support’ makes using the Korean subway convenient
- We support Korean, English, Chinese, and Japanese

- Location: Used to search for stations near your current location and arrival alarms
- Notification: Arrival alarms for transfer and destination stations, current station notification
- You can use the service without allowing optional permissions and withdraw your access permission as below.
. OS 6.0 and later: Settings> Apps> Select App>Permissions> Permissions can be allowed and revoked
. OS below 6.0: Access rights cannot be revoked, so they can be revoked by updating OS.
