Problems I experience with the app. 1. I click to request a fare, it will not accept my click. 2. GPS pick up and drop off location is off from location where the rider is. 3. Calls from the passenger sometimes do not show or alert,but leave a missed notification. 4. GPS routes after starting a pick up will have me start driving the wrong direction to then have me make a u-turn. 5. Often after accepting a fare, the app will restart and open to a different version of maps with no street names.

Even though I am platinum and it even says in the rewards system that your calls are priority, i was not priority I waited on the phone for more than 30 minutes then hung up. I also dont know if you know this but why have a reported app issues button in the app if you can't actually report an issue in app. There has been a time or 2 where I have been driving and out of the blue my phone tells me I missed my turn and I am going the wrong direction. When I am indeed going the right direction. Fix?

This app is unbelievably glitchy. The GPS is frequently wrong and not where the rider is located. A month ago the app had a "glitch" where everything in the app worked except the part where I can withdraw my money from the app. Held my money for almost a week and over 300$ but somehow magically fixed itself after I told them I was going to call a lawyer. I am now currently getting an error message saying that "the app keeps stopping" and preventing me from working. I wish more riders used lyft.

App has has literally been crashing all day. Even after re-downloading three times it hasn't fixed the issue. Then Uber thought it's a good idea to make driver support be exclusively through the app. Since I can't get into the app I have no way to contact support. Not only am I missing out on pay, this makes me want to just drive for Lyft and call it a day

Since the last update I get hardly any trips. I never get trips when it says I am in a busy area. it will just go right back to finding trips. As of this weekend I seem to get next to no trips at all. Yes, I tried restarting my phone and clearing the app cache. I uninstallwd and reinstalled the app. I even reset my phone back manf. settings just in case. Either the app is having seriously tech issues or my market is now so saturated with drivers I get barely any work.

Issue resolved! I am having an issue with my driver app. It is shutting down almost immediately. I was on long enough to accept a ride, but then it shut down and wouldn't give me the ride location. The customer called to check on me and I advised her to drop the ride and request another. Please get in touch with the rider and refund her kidney. Also, can you advise me on how to get my app back on track? I have already uninstalled and reinstalled to no avail. I am using a Samsung Galaxy 10+.

I am giving this app one star for the fact that there is absolutely no way to contact support. No matter how many sites or people tell me how to do it (both are consistent in describing how) the "support" button within the help section of the app does not exist. (At least in my version of the app which is updated to the newest version.) While trying to get signed up, I was told to contact support. How does one go about contacting them with no way to do so? Unsatisfied as of this point.

The new update is causing issues I never had before. Whenever the navigation kicks in, it starts to tweak. It keeps zooming in and out every several seconds, making it hard and frustrating to focus on the directions. My acceptance and cancelation rates have dropped for no good reason after going days without turning down any rides.

The app is giving me serious issues when asking for a quick selfie. I usually have to try about 10 or 20 times to make it work. it used to work fine. There has to be a better way to do this verification than this. I'm not a new driver either 2+ years and thousands of rides. This is a recent issue. Update: 11/11/19 Still issues with the quick selfie. Took probably 20 tries and a phone restart to make it work. Fix it or get rid of it. I don't understand the point of it to begin with.

This app is having some major issues. I accept riders and then they disappear. I'm sure it is negatively impacting my acceptance rate. And then I sit for long periods with no passengers. This does not usually happen. The app has also kicked me out a couple of times. Once in the middle of taking a passenger. I hope they fix it soon.

This app is garbage. I have been trying to log in to drive since 530am and it is now 730am and the app just keeps crashing. I've tried contacting customer support and I still have got no resolution on this issue. My app is up to date and I've tried uninstalling and reinstalling it. Turning my phone off and on. I drive in the SF Bay area, and the app works great 99.9% of the time. There are minor nit picking things that occasionally occur, that other reviews have mentioned, but some of those are due to dropped cell service or slight GPS inaccuracy. For me the app is consistent and continues to improve over time.

Does not accept egilible vechile when trying to go back online although its selected. Constantly have to empty cache, restart phone or uninstall and install app to get it to work. Shouldn't have to go through so much just to go back online. Does it several times a day and supporr is no help. Half of the time they aren't paying attention when you explain your issue.

Ever since the past few updates I am unable to see surge areas on the map. My friend on iOS does not have this issue. Additionally they app has been sluggish lately and often gets stuck saying "Rerouting" for extended periods. As another reviewer pointed out, the back button no longer works in many areas of the app like it used to. Overall, pretty disappointing.

The app doesn't work properly. Impossible to upload paperwork. Changes pick up address on its own. Isn't precise. Sometimes there's just a line on the screen without any image of map. Doesn't show the address of the destination. Looking for fulfilled trips isn't an easy task....

I've found that after using it for over a month the map needs to be updated and accurate, most of the times it's a few houses down or it's another apartment building. Also there should be an option to contact the customer that ordered the food before you start the delivery. The reason I'm stating this is because 3 times now the restaurant has not received the order and the app does not display full information on what they ordered, so I have to start the ride to figure out what they wanted.

The GPS keeps trying to take you down roads that don't exist and putting the destination on the wrong side of the road. Also the reward system makes no sense: you lose your rewards for cancelling one person and it takes you about 15 trips to get it back again, despite supposedly being percentage based. The old app was significantly better and this one needs updating.

When the app asked you to verify yourself you need very very long arms to take a selfie for your face to fit in the space provided. The app crashes sometimes in the middle of a ride leaving you blind not knowing where to go. Sometimes when you turn your phone off and on the app will automatically include you in both delivery and pick up a people whether you want to or not. You have to unselect delivery option if you don't want to deliver food.

It took a hours, but tha app started working again.

Hello I am a Uber Driver and I like the application too much but I have one problem with it. The problem is that when I am on a phone call the application gets silent and I am not able to listen to the sound of ride just I can see the flashing which inform me about the ride. Please let me know if this issue can be sorted out as I miss the ride when I am talking to someone on a phone. Kindly fix this issue as I have discussed with most of the drivers and they all have the same issue.

There should be some sort of option to know where the rider is going. There should be indication of 30+ minutes trip and 60+ minutes trip before accepting the job. I know uber cannot give long rides to everyone but there should be an option or choice in app to only select long rides. Uber commission is way too much 25% is alot more than any other taxi or private hire platform. It should be no more than 10 to 15%. 1* by someone who had feet up on seats, when reported uber, they did not take act

When you go to another application such as google maps for navigation, the uber huvering symbol constantly gets in the way of navigation arrows. Making it dangerious to navigate. If you remove the huvering symbol the application does not work. +Uber posted a typical concerning follow up message to mine but they have done nothing to fix the safty issue in the last year. Political correctness.

For last few days having issues with the aap. Like; I received a request (by the noise I can understand), but can't see anything in the aap. It seems like there's no request in the aap & still searching for requests. But when I restart my phone, then I can see the request. The company and the app is a total gargabe. The app take you offline all the time. You can't work whenever you want because you have a planner with a little time. You can't make enough to cover you expenses like car maintenance and insurance. This is a total SCAM and stay away from it. You can make more money flipping burgers than driving around empty for hours. You have a time schedule like an employee. Stay away from this app and this GIG.

Hi everyone. I had some small issues, which has been sort it very quickly and also let keep working in meantime. But, today it wasn't like that, my app keep asking to add or select a car allowed to work is this city. Never happens before and looks like I am the only person with this issue as my friends are working normally. Help me please! Emerson.

This app is great, but there are a few things I wish they could add/fix. When I get a pop up for a trip, it will sometimes not show the route. I would prefer I could always see this because I live near toll roads and want to avoid if poosible. Also, I would like an option to avoid tolls or deliveries that require them.

App keeps crashing on startup. When people rely on this app for income you really can't roll out an update that just straight up makes the app not work for some people. Edit: it turned out to be a temporary server problem that was solved after a few hours. App works fine now.

Driver app is not working properly. I normally do airport rides at least 10 rides per day. Now when I am at the airport waiting lot I wont even go in queues. Keep saying head to the waiting lot . I have waited at the lot for 1 1/2 hour in sfo and still dont get rides. normally I would only wait for 15 to 30 min max . and out side of this when I try pick up. i press accept and it fail to accept now my acceptance rating went down to 77 % and I am uber diamond driver .

I cannot get past the 2 step verification page after I enter my username and password. Support is no help whatsoever. I followed ALL the troubleshooting steps they provided me with to no avail. As a last resort, I asked them since they couldn't get into my account, if they could cash out my account so I can delete it and they said no. I've been driving with them for 2 1/2 years as a UR/Eats partner and this isn't cool.

The navigation system has been repeatedly lagged, I've been driving for 8 hours without fluid gps, this has led to cancelled rides poor navigation of my routes and increased frustration and distraction time to my work. I've updated the application, reset my phone, even formatted memory to have more RAM, still NO CHANGE in application efficiency. Who is responsible for how. Much money I'm not making??!!

Android users are not provided with the delivery time before accepting the trip. Only iPhone users are able to see the pickup location and dropoff locations. I have the updated version and have already tried uninstalling/reinstalling, but still don't receive any dropoff information until after picking up the food. This is a common experience for android users only. I inconsistently got the upfront information on the first day of the update only, but never again after last Tuesday 11/12/19.

My first time going out to do Uber, turned down overtime from my regular job so I can get my feet wet here, and the app keeps crashing. I updated the app, and it still keeps crashing. Restarted my phone several times, no apps running in the background, keeps crashing. I guess I'll have to go to the competition.

After all these years, the app does not get better, it gets worse. All the money i have paid to uber for technology services and the app gets less reliable everyday. Simple items like the layout of the 'decline trip' button. Button is located in a section of screen that you constant have to press when exiting screens. MANY MANY trips declined in error due to accessing screens and trips coming through at the same time. Uber, please make your app easier to use and most importantly, more reliable.

The app shouldn't turn off by its own while it runs in the background, Android is multitasking. Not sure after how long the app turns off by its own but this make me lose money. You should get at least an alert that it is going to disable the app. Calling support they say thwy cant do nothing. Thanks for making me lose 12 bucks, not nice uber!

New app is horrible. It won't let me cash out because the earning screen only stays on a few seconds then goes blank. The app always freezes when a request or 2 come in it says error then tells me if I am not accepting request to log off, when it clearly has a error not me. no trips in 7 hours of being logged on 2 days in a row today ive been logged in for 4 hrs and had 1 trip I downloaded the rider app to see drivers near me I have watched for 40 minutes and seems same 3 or 4 drivers getting all the rides while me and 2 or 3 other drivers have not moved at all how ever your algorithm is stinks! I've been driving for Uber about 3 months now the last 2 updates have been horrible its barely even worth me doing this anymore.

The back button doesn't work all the time. I can't see the surge all the time. I've not been paid a surge before that I knew was there because the app malfunctioned. When I'm in the middle of a delivery and I receive another ping it does not show me the drop of location which defeats the purpose of the benefits of the new update if I can't see where I'll go next.

Unable to see where the pickup is coming from and where its going. Uber Eats. Overall inapp gps has problems. Strange thing is i have car account and bicycle account. Wheni log in with car everything works. Log in with bicycle and i cant see on the map where order is coming in from. Tried to clear the cache reinstall the app restart phone nothing works.

Having issues pulling up some screens on the app. Don't want to load. Especially when I get a notification on my phone and click it, it takes me to an error message saying page not found or can't find page right now. App has been working better than the last time I reviewed it though.

Was working out pretty good, although they're driver payouts are kind of chincy. Now I keep getting bumped offline wo touching the "go offline" button at all, about every 6 minutes! Have emailed them, called support, updated the app, etc. They haven't fixed this issue yet & it's been going on over a week!

I didn't understand ur terms and conditions. How many times the app asking photo for identity and also bike documents. How many times it will happens.Ola and rapido are better than ur services. I already submitted my bike documents two months ago and rides was done again the he app shows submit noc and vehicle permit. I purchased that bike from hero company directly not from any other person. The company give the invoice only.i want to be out from the uber driver .Thanks for ur services.

GPS is still inaccurate. Can't see a picture of who you are picking up. Customers should only be able to use platform by using their personal drivers license to verify identity. Uber support is still terrible. The golden days of Uber are long gone. What a shame:(

the app keeps stopping nand wont even start up. ive tried restarting my phone and unistalling and reinstalling the app and it doesnt work. i tried clearing the app cache and still doesnt work. i tried the regular uber app the one to get a ride and that one does work but uber driver wont even start. just keeps saying uber driver stopped. in other words, ive lost money bcuz of this. and as usual uber wont compensate. horrible company.

It's a great app and I love working with it.. but sometimes when I go offline and want to go online again, it will ask you to select a vehicle. This can take more than an hour before it accepts the already added vehicle.. please help

The app is good but not great. The issues I encounter most of the time is the built-in map. The nevigation some times take me to wrong place. I have manually enter the destination address in Google map in order to find the correct direction Please make sure the map is up to date.

Serious issue with selfie verification. You cannot fit your entire face in the frame, even with my arms fully extended. As a result of this app issue, I failed the selfie verification, and my account has been suspended indefinately. I have contacted support twice, still not resolved. I have been with Uber eats for 2 years. Maybe I should try delivering with Doordash or Grubhub.

The Support for this app is TERRIBLE. Uber needs to make it so that when a driver calls into Support that all of the drivers info should pop-up for tech support and the driver should only have to verify their name, BECAUSE I AM ONLINE AND CALLING FROM THE APP. It is time consuming to call Support and deal with someone who is reading from a SCRIPT! With as much revenue that this app brings in the Support for the drivers really needs and UPGRADE!

Useless support. Even if youre diamond with over 1400 deliveries you will lose IQ levels when contacting support. I tried changing my picture and the app wouldnt let me. They kept giving me the steps to do it and when I told them I couldnt they KEPT giving troubleshooting steps which I DID ALL OF and still wouldnt work. I contacted them again and they kept giving me the same answers over and over. Useless Middle Eastern call center BS.

The app is providing inaccurate information for myself and the rider. It is giving me rides that arent in the location that I'm in(20-30 min out and informing the rider I'm closer than I really am. When I'm approaching a rider, it says I'm further than I really am so the rider cancels before I can get there. I'm unable to do the job efficiently.

Working with you/your app is the best untill it comes to balances/Commissions.i work with you but i have been raising issues regarding my balances.what have been paying is totally different from what is indicated in the app.for example, you find my balances for the last 2,3 week were +ve but am still asked to pay more amount that i dont understand where its from.

I'm giving 5 stars because overall it is a great app and haven't had any serious issues. The only minor hiccup I have is when I am talking on speaker phone and mark a delivery as delivered (so basically closing out of that screen) back to the main screen where we are online it makes my speaker sound go away so I am not able to hear the person talking or ny audio books play. Just a minor inconvenience nothing major.

I'm very discussed it with this app I lost out on a $70 ride because it froze up when I had the customers in the car luggage packed inside the trunk uber app never track me as picking them up call customer service they were good-for-nothing!!!! turn a app off turn it back on they canceled the ride to try to get me but the dam app called somebody from 7 minutes away when my ass was right there at their goddam house lost that ride. And I'm piss beyond belief. This app is garbage!!!

I'll rate higher when riders are required to rate their driver instead of the current model where they can refuse to rate because they are lazy. If i'm required to rate riders the same should apply to riders when rating drivers. Until this issue is resolved i'm just gonna rate all my riders 1* because of they aren't gonna help me increase my rating i'm just gonna wreck theirs. The system is broken and i'm gonna exploit it.

I'd give this app a zero if I could! The customer service is absolutely terrible!! They keep replying with the same message, basically a computerized message. Acting like they are going to solve the issue, but nope! Will not get anything done! Don't waste your time! Go to Lyft or doordash for deliveries/rides!

Not worth the money. You will lose more then you make. The only one that wins is uber. Its always something wrong with the app or it's a reason they cant pay you. It always an excuse. Old version uber maps connect with google maps. But this app wont allow me to connect google map as well as voice assist not at all working. If we planned to do food delivery at unknown place its really difficult. How new peoples know streets without help google map.so please bring a change on it. Reply :- In new app there is an option stay in uber app itself . That is already ticked . I couldn't able to change it. And voice assistance options like sound is loud and voice commands option is on.

Ask me to take selfie to verify my identity, camara won't open on my sony phone, called customer services, ask me used another phone to verify. After 2 week, want me to verify again, camera still not working. After clear out all cache memory, still can take a selfie requirement, waste my time when i have to get another phone for a selfie.

App keeps crashing. I'm using a Moto G4 Plus. I just did a factory reset of my phone and installed the latest version of the app and it keeps crashing. Funny thing is, it was working fine before I did the factory reset.

World class worst app... Why the app asking to take selfie photos, where will we go after the evening time lfor bright light atmosphere? Should we carry photo studio while driving? Many time i have affected at the night time .. in the dim lights atmosphere selfie photos by the apps... There is lot of measures to identify faulty person. Why don't use bio metric method like to take finger print method ...why do uber using this antiquity method in the modern world ?

You keep on updating the app you keep on saying the app is going to be faster more reliable all it does is take out more and more of our storage stop updating it unless you have something important to put in that's the same BS it's not worth it.

Stays open 1 minute then crashes. Ran an update, reinstalled, cleared cache and nothing. There is a internet forum for Rideshare drivers and this issue was widespread among iPhone users and Android users. It was resolved by noon. Maybe they got hacked. 11/25/19 7AM CT

Love driving for Uber and the app software has many great features but you better not switch bank accounts or get a new phone on a day you plan on driving especially if you depend on instant pay. They will lock you out for 48 hours and have no way of unlocking you because it is all controlled by an automated system that they can not override. Very disappointing

Just lost £50 for long journey as app not working properly and saying Something went wrong. Wellthanks now i have to work 2 extra hours for that. Also the navigation takes you half way around town because doesn't recognises street to go trough even that it does show on its map.

No rotational mode. Orders are not ready and long waiting times at pick ups restricts me from doing more deliveries. No direct support on the app to chat to for issues instead, one has to go through lots of common options to get to someone and then their reply takes decades. Gps sometimes takes me far away from pick ups and into dead ends. I have to take a selfie to get into my account when i took a selfie last week for authorization.

-5 STARS!!!! I'm at my wit's end with your 'support' team!! Did y'all know Uber refuses to remove or delete your information even after you ask them to? The app is user UNFRIENDLY. When you try to sing up for deliveries, it'll sign you up for driving and you have to go through a maze of having to get it corrected. And after almost an hour on the phone with people that don't even understand what I'm saying, because outsourcing call centers is cheaper, I'm still on hold. HORRIBLE!! Don't do it!!!!

Having issues with the app going online and having to wait for 45 min to one hour and 30 min to get a job I have talked to uber support and I have done all the trouble shooting that they suggested but it made no difference I hope they will fix this soon.

Automatic day/night mode isn't automatic. That needs to be fixed. Landscape mode would be extremely helpful. An update for safe pickup locations is sorely needed in Western Sydney - I've had enough of taxi drivers taking photos of my number plates.

The app navigation is weak. In some cases, it doesn't give drivers enough notice of which lane to be in for the next turn. (airport exits to the freeway on-ramps) The riders location for pickup is often wrong and requires the drivers to get creative and hunt them down.

Some of us are in 3rd World countries which don't have free data as much as the developed continents. My point is data is expensive and it's sometimes not cool to have to update your app every other day, if you don't update sooner or later the app may not even take anymore requests.

Five stars trips ain't reflecting in the ratings. If anyone gives you less than five star it would reflect in the ratings straight away. it has happened so many times that riders have done the trip ratings in front of me giving me five star but it won't reflect in the ratings and wouldnt increase either. The app has not been letting me drive for the last couple months. All my documents are up to date. I took a break and decided to try it again the last couple days and its still not working. I have deleted and installed multiple times.

The app is unstable and does not work after my samsung S8+ samssung update...ugg I was in a bonus zone and it didn't work. Once the bonus disappeared then my app worked. Very strange I would get the app running in the bonuses zone for 3 rides and X$ and it would crash

When you get a request you don't see where it is on the map,until you press accept,and that is a waist of time because your in a middle of a junction or just about to turn and you don't see where you need to go till the map kicks in

App keeps restarting. Cannot contact support because cannot get into help in app. GPS gives routes on roads no longer in service. Positive is customer service reps are very good when you do get them.

The app never chows the background check consent and support team never figure it out! And they daid if i did not agree to it they will close my account that is my only source of income! Issues. Today app started crashing. Restarted my phone, keeps crashing. Uninstalled the app. Cleared cache. Reinstalled it. Keeps crashing as soon as it opens. Can't do anything in the app.

App crashing for the past hour or so. I have uninstalled, restarted, and reinstalled the app and it's still crashing. This is costing us money.

There can be some improvements made for drivers. One big thing I wish Uber would do is abolish the acceptance rate, allow us to be picky with rides and know exactly where these rides are going all the time. Also a setting for both drivers and passengers that we can match with for either conversation or Scilence. Because I've gotten complaints for being social with people when they didn't want to be bothered.

Need better customer service!! Need to be able to back driver under any circumstances!! App sometimes have problems paying out!! App is also very slow!! Even after updating on a new phone!!

Nothing happens when I press the Go button Cant make money if the app doesn't work. I spent a lot of money getting my car ready and now I'm stuck because of the app. Extremely frustrating.

it's good but usually I can't get tripp from surat international airport so please check out what is the reason your Google map not correct to customer location for example if customer location is 1.5 km your map showing 4.5 some time 6 km and it is difficult for us and customer also so please check out this reason thanks

I'm having trouble with the maps specifically the Uber GPS. it works fine until I get a trip and then it fades out from the screen comes back in Fades back out and this is continuous until I finish the trip. any suggestions?

This app is unusable, I've spent hours just trying to change my profile picture but it seems like the option doesn't even exist, there are some basic options that simply never load, I'm truly baffled at how a company this big can have these kind of issues

This update version is not functioning properly it kicks people out if you are waiting vs people that are dropping off passengers. This needs to be fixed.

Issue not resolve 0 There are so many fare issue in Trip .And in pool trip fare is very disappointed and after complain in customer care and partner care there is not supporting me. And it's a big problem for me From Uber side is when I'm standing in surge areas at that time uber not give me surge trip .Uber give me 5 to 15 kms distance pickup without surge. And I not accepting more distance trip than uber give small sarge and small drop surge trip.

Navigation Commands are not getting played in Bluetooth Earphones. I'm a Uber Eats Delivery Person. I use Redmi Note 5 Pro phone and Boat Rockerz Bluetooth Earphones. While navigating to Restaurant or Customer's place, the navigation Commands are not getting played in my earphones, instead it's playing out in loud speaker. (Note:Meanwhile navigation Commands from Google Maps Navigation App works ultimately fine)

When we get ride notification. Why we cant see the dropoff location on maps too. Please enable that too. Before we accept the ride we should be able to see both pickup and dropoff like in the careem app
