    This is the first time that I've been compelled to review an app. Disgraceful app, more bugs than Indiana Jones and the Temple of Doom. I'm constantly having to Force Stop and even that doesn't always work. Half the time channels are missing from the list (major channels such as BBC1 too), recordings fail to appear on the schedule and you can't record if you're out (what's the point?) With the old Sky+ app I could record from abroad. Sky, with the money you charge your customers, get it sorted

    app OK, sky go is working fine on my phone, but not on my tablet, after a bit of research the reason is because this new sky app will only work on android 10 and up. Android 10 is only now being rolled out and still on beta testing so it will only be available for some devices.... Which is why you get messages like "device not compatible" when trying to download sky go.... Conclusion sky go does work, you'll just have to be patient.

    fehlercode 200 Breaks more often than it works. Constant struggle to connect to Sky Q box whilst at home on the same WiFi network. Made worse by the fact I pay so much for my Sky subscription. When it does work you have to put up with a clunky video player (why can't they copy the YouTube or Netflix UI experience? (Double tap the screen edge to skip forward etc)). Also if you accidentally lock the screen you then get kicked out of the player and have to reopen your video - generally resulting in it not worki

    auf tv Good for watching Sky mobile, or to browse the content available. Sadly, compared to NOW TV and other streaming services, there is no option to save content to a watch list to bookmark it for later, so I have to keep an external list of things I want to watch.

    app download Not sure why I still try and use this app, download programmes to watch off line and never able to view. Get error 60-1 code, downloads will not play when connected to sky q box. Updated review, still getting code and still can't watch downloads offline - terrible app. I'm a sky customer, on a sky mobile phone.

    fire tv This app is awful. For every one sky app that works properly, 17 don't. Unfortunately, this is one that doesn't. In the middle of watching a download, I get a message so I pause and exit the app, read my message and try to go back to the download. Except the app is now frozen. So i close the app, restart it and go to my downloads except now the play button doesn't work. Sky Go, Sky Q and this current Sky app have always had problems like this. Netflix can get it right though... useless!!!

    anmelden Unworkable and frustrating, when the app does eventually open and you find something you'd like to watch you have to watch a couple of adverts then when you think you can finally watch your film the app crashes. Really frustrating and a complete waste of time, especially when Netflix works

    lf Error code 6 For some reason my app stopped working on my android phone and all I get now is error code 6. I have tried tech support but they don't know and I get the feeling not interested either. I have tried all the usual reinstalling, reboots and the like to no avail. Does anyone have the same experience or knowledge about this.

    Brilliant in all aspects - I can't even think of anything to make it better apart from more content being available to playback from download onto my tablet. I travel alot in areas with no mobile reception and being able to download programs and movies to my tablets onboard memory is essential. It works really well and I particularly like the fact that the guide, download listing and streaming functions are all handled within the same app (unlike offerings from my last TV & broadband provider).

    App is OK on phone, however absolute garbage on laptop. Cannot stress enough how much it effects the viewing experience. Stuttering, out of sync, awful picture quality. My laptop is completely capable, but the abject fear of piracy has destroyed the functionality of this app. Appauling

    Even though I was asked to sign in after getting the app, everytime I want to watch something or record anything I have to sign in again. And when I'm not the main account holder, this is rather tedious and annoying and makes the whole experience less worthwhile and I'm less likely to watch anything at all

    By far the worst app out there. Rubbish about 2 years ago and the same issues now. Downloads unable to watch in split visits as error messages kick in meaning you have to delete and re download and the stupid 48hr rule which no other has like Netflix or Prime. When will they ever get this right...

    The app looks alot better after the update very easy to use but still don't understand why there's not alot of channels in watch ,such a big company like sky who have increased my bill by £10 in six months without telling me should be able to afford it and adverts all the time when you click off something on demand then back on it so annoying

No option is available on app even to try and I'm on same wifi network as my box and the box says its sky go ready. Flaud software. Been an issue with sky Q for years. Fed up of paying hundreds a year for this cr4p!

    If it wasn't so advert obsessed it wouldn't be too bad. Forced to watch every advert break and if you stop watching to go back later it starts up with 6 adverts before continuing the programme. Annoying having to use my data to watch adverts when it cost me almost £90 a month.

    Begun to experience poor connection problems. Error messages asking me to close app and restart all the time. Streaming problems which is why I upgraded my broadband package increasing by 30.00 per month. Very frustrated, disappointing and annoying.

    Utterly terrible app (should be 0 *) Downloaded content either simply will not play or it will play another video stream instead of the one listed at the top of the screen (in 1 example it played something I had already deleted from my device). Raised support call with app team via app & they were useless. Asking for info which I provided, they didn't read the email and just kept copying & pasting generic help or links to support pages, none of which relate to issues I am facing. So frustrating.

    Sky need to up their game because this app is awful. I have unlimited mobile data but sky won't allow downloads unless it's WiFi. Then when I go to watch something I get an error message saying try again later but the only way to fix this is to delete all app data and start fresh again. This happens weekly and any downloads I have need to be downloaded again but of course you have to wait till you have WiFi. Also multiple 2min ad breaks during viewing makes me not want to use the app at all.

    Terrible app .. regularly doesn't set recordings on our Q box...it's so random whether it's going to work we can't rely on it ..cant add devices ...cant view recordings on any Android devices ...browsing the channel listings is beyond frustrating....SKY you really need to take a look at the Virgin app for the V box ...it's starting to make us consider going back to Virgin media...which is a shame as the Q box is great and Sky TV is cheaper...but you're app development sucks big time.... 0 star's

    Doesn't work on Samsung tablet, connects to Sky Q box but won't play any shows as says it requires an active WIFI connection, but it's connected to the WIFI, also Sky help desk and support pages don't explain how to correct problem, other than restart the device. Works fine on my Samsung phone though, which makes it all the more frustrating.

    App has it's ups and downs but decent most times. I will say it's EXTREMELY annoying the way Sky Sports Arena shows whatever is on Sky Sports Action instead of the scheduled event. One of the main things I use this app for is football and basketball when I'm out of the house and the basketball is usually on Sky Sports Arena so I rarely can watch it on the app, PLEASE FIX.

    The UI is horrible. The TV guide is horrible. I prefer the old grid layout - like on the sky boxes themselves. And please bring back the remote control functionality! We know its possible as there are third party apps. I used to prefer scrolling the tv guide (grid) on my phone then select what i want and it plays on the TV. AND ALLOW CHROME CASTING - like BT sport, netflix and Amazon prime do.

This app is in serious need of a New Series section ------------------------------- Original review The older sky apps used to be so much better.     Upon installing this app it states that the app is compatible with all my devices - Which is a complete! The screen is still black with only AUDIO available on it. Users be warned.. Do Not Install If You Have a CHROMEBOOK it is a Complete Waste Of Time. I have emailed support regarding this issue to which they sent me a link on a step-by-step installation process to which i followed to the letter (its not a hard job to install an app) with the end result being the same. I have also posted my issue on their message board in case anyone else has the same issue.

    After 13.1.1 update app took 24 hours to connect to sky q box. After raising email query with support I'm pretty sure they did something remotely to sort as box did some weird rebooting exercise, which freezed everything including mini box's. It also stopped all recordings at that point. I might be wrong with that assumption but if I'm not I wish they communicate better with customer as I thought just something else was going wrong. Anyway, all appears good.

    Terrible app keeps kicking me off recordings and i cannot even watch some plus channels..it takes at least a extra 40mins to watch something as every 5mins im kicked out saying it cannot find my box..then it takes about 10mins to reconnect..so the joy of watching the recording upstairs in bed has gone and just results in frustration. The old app i could download to my phone..but not anymore..thats a extra cost now. What sold us to go with sky Q is getting taken away. we obv dont pay enough!

    Almost every movie I want to watch is on here, great for using at home and on my phone when travelling. The only problem faced is the image clarity being distrusted when closing and then opening the app to respond to messages.

    Unable to view my recordings and have reinstalled several times. It appears to work fine on Samsung phones just not on my Galaxy Tab2. App doesn't give you any options about connecting to the SkyQ box, just contact Customer service. I'm on software V7. Annoying, worked better on Sky Q app.

    It's hit and miss whether it links to Q box. The TV guide doesn't show any BBC channels so I can't use the app to set a recording ftom them. Sky Q worked plus I could use it as a remote. Sky Go doesn't work and can't be used a remote. Why fix things that aren't broke?

    This app needs work, not really as user friendly as it should be with all the competition! The ads/previews before every episode are really annoying, esp as you cannot skip them, and if you are watching a short 20 min comedy. Given the amount of subscription we pay I would like to think sky customers deserve better.

    Since installing this app on samsung tab a. Keep getting lip sync delay. Starts ok then gradually over a few minutes becomes out of sync. I am unable to find anything to try different to attempt a solution. This simply running the app on tablet. No bluetooth devices connected.

    Good when works, enabling to download and watch programs from sky q box. App at moment seems quite buggy. Often when selecting to watch a downloaded film/program it opens a different downloaded film/program. Also when opening app with limited or no signal the app sometimes won't open, sticking on loading screen

    The old SkyQ app was perfect. I am having nothing but trouble with Skygo on my Note 10+ despite reactivating Skyq box and reinstalling app. Two problems I cannot watch downloads unless I have a wifi connection which defeats the point of a download. Also i can't watch live using 4g. Other streaming companies work fine on my phone with data.

    I love this app everything is easy to find and user friendly. The only criticism I have is when only one program has been recorded you cannot see the information about the program. I keep having to go to my Sky box to see what the programme is about.

    Screen no longer rotates on to full screen on my Android since new update. I only mostly watch sky on ny phone so I'll being my money and going back to Netflix. If it's not broken don't fix it!

    If playback is interrupted by a call or a drop in signal then you can't play the same video or live stream for another 15-20mins, just shows and error message, so poor.

    Of no use what so ever, tried watching 6 nations rugby live and app crashed, crashed each time. Then tried playback of recorded programmes crashes everytime on a Pixelbook Go. Only reason I gave it one star was I couldn't do the review with a zero star rating.

    Has a habit to close itself if you turn off WiFi. Other than that it's a nicely packaged app with everything you need. I use it on a fire tv stick as it was cheaper than an extra sky mini box for the same functionality.

    I've gotten used to this app now and it's good however the autoplay next episode of recorded or downloaded programmes doesn't work. It just goes back to the home screen after playing programme very very annoying sky q app never had a problem.

    Not Fit For Purpose. New to Sky, downloaded the app so that I can watch on the go. Can't log in,keeps giving a blank screen saying "done". This means I can't remote watch or set recordings. Shoddy at best.

    Recently moved to Sky.....very disappointed by this app. Tablet won't connect to Sky Q box so I cannot watch my recorded programmes. Please take a book out of the virgin app as that is miles in front of this..... and please respond to peoples reviews as I cannot see 1

    The latest update seems to have removed the recordings tab so you can no longer watch recordings from your sky q box via the app. This needs to be put back on asap

    Worked perfectly fine b4 d update, ds updated version is really annoying...can't count the number of times I've had to uninstall nd reinstall to see if dere would be changes but no difference.. 🤦‍♀️🤦‍♀️🤦‍♀️

    Terrible. Needs improving. Lack of playback features. No synchronised 'favourites'. The tv guide from the old Sky App is much better.

    Good at home, useless when watching downloaded programmes. It keeps giving a 60-1 error code even if you are trying to reume something that you had started.

    Barely works. Download content, try to play it and nothing happens. Cancelling the subscription, it's not worth it

    Terrible since upgrade to 13.1.1 If there is no wifi and you want to watch anything that you have downloaded it gives you 3-25 error and you are not able to watch anything until you have service. Such a shame after everything working so well

    No recordings tab. I used to be able to watch recorded programmes from my phone but now for whatever reason I cannot. I have uninstalled and reinstalled the app but the option is just simply not there anymore.

    Can't get it to play abroad. Yet i can get Netflix no problem. I've been with sky for 20 years not very helpful. Not a very happy person. Thinking of moving to a different company.

    not sure what has happened but if I stop watching something I've downloaded, when I return to watch it I get error code 39. Has made for quite a few miserable train journeys! This didn't happen with Sky Q app.

    Real issues connecting to Q box despite taking all the sensible steps, probably only connects 1 in 10 attempts. Bring back the Sky Q app.

    since the update to get the app to connect to my sky box i have to uninstall it then reinstall it otherwise it judt displays cant find sky q box yet once i reinstall it it finds the box straight away.. highly annoying as my tablet has no problems at all

    This is rubbish. I cant even watch one single music channel. I went to the music section and it says: there are no channels to watch at this time. Most of the channels I subscribe to are not there. Is this normal?

    The amount of adverts you are given is ridiculous, there are times when they stack so you have to watch 2 lots of 4minute adverts.

    Doesn't work on brand new Pixelbook Go chromebook! Spinning circle with message 'preparing' then kicks you back to the tv guide. Utterly frustrating as works without issue on previous chromebook which is 4 or 5 years old!

    Good app but there's a problem with live streaming on some channels when the adverts, which are obviously internet based, cause the stream to go out of sync sound wise

    Fine for downloads, but try and watch live sport and it crashes, BT and Amazon football streaming works perfectly, all you get with sky go is it crashing, or an error code
