Compass improvment
Description
SimpleGPS will allow you to return to the saved location by pointing the direction.
It will also show the current distance to the saved location, distance traveled, average speed and recently traveled route (graphically) that is stored in memory until you save a new position.
With SimpleGPS you can also notify your current position by clicking the message icon in the upper right corner. Location will be sent in the format allowing the reciver to view it on a Google map.
In the menu at the top you will also find a compass that will help you, for example, calibrate equipment.
ATENTTION !
- VERY IMPORTANT - Calibrate the compass on your device, since it may indicate a wrong measurement. The method that works on most phones is the Mobius strip (eight) hand movment with the compass running – check in the network.
- Fixing the GPS signal, depending on the quality of the receiver in your phone and conditions may take from a few seconds to even a few minutes, so sometimes it requires patience.
- SimpleGPS is designed for hiking and cycling and quite well measured the way traveled, but the position is saved every 5 seconds, so do not expect super accuracy when you are driving a car.
