Terrible user experience, too hard to find next episode. When I add a show to My List and then navigate to that show in My List, I only see the episodes I've watched. I can't see the episodes I *haven't* watched or browse the show be season or any other meaningful interaction. To actually find the next episode, I need to Search for that show, find it, and then I can see all the available seasons. Has anyone at Showtime actually used this app themselves? I highly doubt it.

The only reason I am giving this app ,2 stars is because of the shows. Other than that the app doesn't make any sense. first downloading takes forever. Then once you download a show you have to have a internet connection to access the app or the movie you just downloaded. Other show apps allow you to access the app even if you don't have a internet connection. Which brings me to point number two,the whole purpose of downloading a movie or show is to watch it when you don't have a internet connec

Took money out of my account to pay for my subscription.. but it's not letting me use it asking for my sign in... Email again what's up with that? Telling Bank not to let you take money out any more paying for something I'm not getting.... Very unhappy with Showtime I paid for the month and having used it now asking for a new subscription again to sign I don't think so...

All I can say is if you're willing to spend the operative 20 to $25 per month it is way worth the money a lot of people Think of that amount of money is too much, and it is a lot. I mean think about it Netflix is what $8 probably now $10 a month or Amazon prime video which is $79 a year including it out the whole other part of Amazon and being a prime member. -*now I can tell you that I have an extensive binge-watching habit, it makes me be able to withstand the gut-wrenching shows and greatones

Can be better. Hulu and Netflix are way better. I watch shows on my phone and tv. Showtime sucks. It's my last resort if Netflix or hulu ran out of binge watching shows till a new one comes out in a few months.

I have showtime from spotify student . Everytime I log in it shows "start your 7 day free trial " and it won't go anywhere past that so when I hit that I takes me to payment method. I dont want to be charged for it when I have it under spotify premium. Frustrating they need to fix this glitch

Showtime has the worst streaming experience of all out of all interfaces of any streaming service I have ever tried! It takes hours just to rewind the movies (which you have to if you want to rewatch anything). The content lacks, the new show with Kyrsten dunst is weak. Either this company is completely clueless or they are going bankrupt.

Worst App EVER!!! Deffinitley needs fixing with the constant play back error popping up every couple minutes and signing you out every 5 minutes!!! Ohh and you guys should really add The Big C!!!!!!!

The app buffers A LOT. An hour long show takes at least an hour and a half to watch.

Giving app a closer look I'm decreasing stars to 3. The movie listing needs much improvement. Discription lettering is too dark making it hard to read. I found how to FF and RW however this feature needs much improvement. Compared to Netflix and other movie apps this one rates the lowest. 👎 Hope my next review is a 👍. Make it happen Showtime. My free trial is only for 7 days. Then 10.99 after that.

Whenever I use a media app that prevents me from utilizing the full screen on my smartphone, I refuse to give the app more than one star. One of the worst media handicaps is limiting aspect ratios and forcing me to watch my show with side bars or letter boxes. Netflix has figured out how to implement full screen. Amazon Prime Video can alter to full screen. THIS APP CANNOT PARTICIPATE IN THE RICH FEATURE OF FULLSCREEN VIEWING! SHAME ON SHOWTIME! SHAME ON CHARGING US TO WATCH YOUR INFERIOR APP!

So far I like it a lot and am excited to see what there line up next year is. Also good selection

This is a poorly driven app. Aside that it is expensive, the show keeps buffering every minute, no matter how fast your internet connection.

rewind 30-sec? why so much?? instant 5-second rewind should suffice. '30-second' goes way back. would be nice if you can set/self-adjust the rewind time.

Playback problems often

You dont get the 7 day free trial it automatically charges you 10.99!! An when you tell them it did they tell you to contact Google play that they cant fix it!

Can't enlarge video playback on my galaxy s9 so it's got like a quarter inch border around the movies/tv shows.

Layout is cumbersome.

Showtime had the worst app and website EVER

Great shows. But frustrating watching the spinning circle for 30 seconds while I wait for the same commercial to buffer every time I watch an episode. Apparently Showtime both hates that playing commercials before every episode causes their app problems, but they certainly haven't done a thing to solve the problem. I'm sure not going to waste my time with their "support". I'm a guy that votes with my wallet.

Normally, I do not complain about pricing, but I found it ridiculous how I have to pay for a subscription when I could connect throw the TV provider. This app did not meet my expectations and will not be downloading the app again. 🙄

This app sucks . i am glad i only did the free trail. I wouls never waste my money on it. The only reason it got 1 star is beacuse o had to give it something other wise it would of gotten nothing. It complete freeze everytime i use it and it make no sense.

Felt like the selection of movies was decent. Not the extensive library you would find with a Netflix or Hulu, but makes a solid addition to those services..... However, with that being said, it is not worth $10.99/month in any scenario... AT ALL!!!! Stand-alone or extension, it's just not worth that.

I have been trying without success to cancel my subscription. I'm currently watching Showtime on Xfinity and I don't need Showtime on my phone anymore. I've done everything requested. Please fix!!

Just started my free trial via Android phone/Google play but I realized my fav show isn't on a new season yet so I wanted to cancel. Everytime I go to "manage subscriptions" it takes me to discover other apps instead of cancelling the membership. This needs to be fixed

I have children living with me and the majority of showtime is adult oriented. Not to offend the Showtime fans but I don't see a big selection of movies that I can watch even without the kids. The interface works perfectly though and the search works properly.

The reason why I gave this app 1 * was because if I try to log into my email account it wouldn't work so I tried long it to my other account it also wouldn't work and I try to log into my another account from my different phone and my password is said your password is incorrect try again I got really frustrated and mad and so we're time I try to watch something and it wouldn't work so I deleted the app reinstall back again because I thought I was broken so that for it just ain't working anymore

App sucks ass it always crashes

I've been very happy with Showtime till a few days ago, it doesn't matter what movie I go to and select it starts with a preview and during the preview it automatically goes back to select movie. It does it on every movie, series, I've tried everything. My account is billed through Roku and there isn't any problems there. So I have unsubscribed my billing date will be coming up and I'm not gonna pay if I can not watch a single thing on Showtime. It had been working just fine until a few days ago.

I'm giving it one star for how hard it is to cancel your subscription. Per instructions you are supposed to be able to log into Showtime and go to your account and unsubscribe. False. There are zero options to cancel. I had to message them. I'm still waiting for a reply. I find that to be very sneaky and distasteful. I am also disappointed with the movie selection. There are more B movies than quality ones. Hulu has an amazing selection of movies.

The app is nice... But their content is terrible

Those were not issues for troubleshooting, I have work arounds for all (how on Earth were they going to "troubleshoot" past a missing seek time feature). These are issue that need to be brought to the development team, so that software fixes can be implemented. Minus another star for utterly useless response to feedback.

Love being able to get the app for shameless, since I dont watch many movies or TV. I get to watch what I want when I want and come back anytime. Never an issue watching any show or movie.

I tried to access my Showtime account yesterday to close it down because I never use it. and I couldn't access my account. so I called Showtime and they said my account has been shut down since 2017 but I've still been getting this $10 charge on my card every month it's now 2019 August. I don't think I should be charged for an account that I couldn't access and I would like my money back

Showtime yall play folks like a sleazy spit salesman. Advertised to get 7 day free trial but only after yall secure a pymt first. Give me 7 free days first. Then after trial period is done with ,then bombard me with paypal acct or whatever. I want 7 free days then i will dump yall. Showtime's proposing this free trial period. Google play wont let me cancel my subscription. it keeps giving me the run around and it feels like I'm going around and around in circles.. I still haven't been able to cancel my subscription.. thanks alot!!

It plays, but if your watching a series it doesn't have a way to pick up where you left off on the Android app from home screen or menu. This is a very basic feature- you would think it wouldn't even be in production without it.

This app's UI is so unimpressive. Poor controls/features, plus the fact that for some reason, the resume playback memory doesn't work; as it always resumes from the beginning or a previous pause point different from where you currently paused it.

Several shows i love but unfortunately, it constantly CRASHES. Not worth the aggravation.

The app in general is good, but the casting doesn't work as smooth as the ESPN app. It lags constantly. The videos/movies play smoothly when you are not casting, but when uou try to cast it on the TV it doesn't stream as smoothly.

It's nice that it has all the shows but UI is terrible. You can't save a show to a favorite list, so that you can easefully access it when you come back. You can save an episode but then there's nothing you can do with that because you can't even go to the next episode from there. It would be nice to have the show that you left halfway right there on the home page. Another things is not having the option to skip the intro. If you're watching a few episodes in a row it will show you the review from the previous roosters plus the intro, it's terrible. Basically, UI needs work.

tried watching on my television but set up was impossible and their tutorials are for sound bar only. I deleted the app and cancelled my subscription. spent way too much time trying to set it up and got nowhere.

Absolutely terrible on my smart TV. I have multiple streaming apps such as Netflix, Hulu, Prime, etc. I never have any issue with them. Showtime will load ONCE EVERY TEN TRIES!!!!! So frustrating.

Great app! I love it's dark theme and image previews! Be nice if the aspect ratio filled my phone's screen, but I still give it 5stars!

The app was fine before the last update. However, immediately after the last update, the app closes down incessantly all day - whether I'm using the app or not. Every time I look at my phone there's a message that Showtime has stopped. No matter what I am doing on my phone I'm over run with messages telling me Showtime has stopped. It's a real nuisance.

I pay for showtime already but if i didnt have cable this would be a must for me. To the people who think its hard to cancel, I figured it out in less than a min. Thanks for the trial.

I signed up for the free week subscription when I ordered a boxing match, to stream to the Chromecast drone my s7. The stream didn't work, I missed half my party trying to fix it, and I still haven't got a response in a refund of the fight. Then I get a $10 charge when the week is up. All in all, a waste of $90, bad costumer service and and a headache. Don't do it.

I added this free trial last month. it was for 30 days, so when I logged in it says I didn't have an account. they have my ccard info all that was set up. so I did the chat with their online service and the lady couldnt help me either. I never got a 30 day free trial or noth. I had a no good exp with this app. p.s.I added this trial threw my Google account. so I'm going to cancel the subscription that I never got to use.!!

I called google, they are no help. They say I have no sub Eventhough my credit card statement clearly says I was charged...they have no record of me ever having a subscription even when my app says im charged through google play. After having my credit card company on 3way they told the rep i had been charged and they would block future charges. So why I get a notification today from google saying ill be charged until i cancel my SUBSCRIPTION is beyond me. Welp i thought i didnt have one #Frauds

So far so good. Shameless & The United States Of Tara, are just a couple of the Series I Love to watch. I have to limit myself however, unless Wi-Fi is available, I burn up alot of my data. I'd like to be able to cast it from my phone to my Tv through my Roku player, but I just haven't figured that out. I'll give another review in a couple weeks.

It's just a very poorly designed app. Saving shows to watch is per episode, shows dont continue to play after finishing an episode, I have to click through multiple screens to play the initial episode and scroll through seasons. It's just not very user friendly or convenient for watching multiple shows or episodes. It's fine for watching one episode. Check out how Hulu, Netflix, Amazon do their apps and hopefully implement some of those features.

awesome site. streaming is higher than netflix (youre gonna want an unlimited plan if you stream shows) but they at least offer option of downloading so uses much less data. also unlike AMC you dont have to have a cable subscription to watch showtime. why pay 100-150 a month for cable just to watch a few shows where here i can for $10 a month. i subscribed mainly to watch billions, but many other good shows too

Some very good shows and films. My biggest gripe is that if you have a download and it gets interrupted it will get stuck on waiting. You can't deleted the download you can't resume the download, depending on how big it is, it will just stay there taking up space.

Just doesn't work. Can't create an account as I get the message "Error retrieving information from server. [DF-BA-AH-01]". Had an account but can't change the password and customer support just kept telling me to keep retrying a method that kept not working.

I had a 7 day free trial and was charged immediately on the 7th day of the free trial. I have called Google play to request a refund and was on hold for more than 30 min. Then I followed their website directions for getting an email if requested within 48hours of the charge and I completed the steps within 20 min of being charged. I got another email today stating I was not getting a refund. I would like a refund please.

Only blackscreen showed but you can still hear the audio. Hulu or Amazon player are much better than their own app.

Ok.. We all know the latest release has a bug.. Unfortunate, but it happens.. I Contacted customer support. They are aware.. The real test is to see how fast they can either rollback the update or push a fix.. Update... So.. 2 hours.. That's all it took for them to fix the issue.. Updated to version 2.3.2 Everything works fine now..

I feel that if you go to print with something as messed up as this, you have a BIG loser!!!!! It is not even worth as much time as I spent on the Miner App. This was absolutely rediculous. The device couldn't even keep up with the App it was trying to load, let alone it cost entirely too much money. As it is, I do not think you could get it loaded in 7 days, let alone be able to test it. Over all I would rate it a BIGGER "0" than the Miner. Kathryn Everard

I logged in to the app with my credentials and it worked. The next day the app said I had been logged out. When I tried to log back in it would not accept my credentials. I tried it a few times. I logged into my ATT account to make sure it was correct and it was. WhennI attempted the app again it said it was incorrect. I've uninstalled the app since it's not working.

Other than how searching for older seasons and episodes is set up, and autoplay next episode function doesn't work, I've been pleased until today. The show I'm streaming just stops randomly. I've force stopped app, cleared cache, and un/reinstalled the app. Each time I restart the episode, it resumes momentarily then randomly stops again and only black screen appears. Will I receive some type of compensation for my paid subscription?

was going to sign up but then read most recent reviews and most of them were negative. Saw alot of, not possible to unsubscribe, screens not loading, not refundable. Just a bunch of bad reviews

It worked for about a week then it just kept giving me error codes, wouldn't allow me to download anymore, or play the content i requested. if its doing this tommorow then I'll unfortunately have to cancel. Update, just had a vpn problem. Its definitely worth the cost, much better than wasting time on some game!

I wouldn't know where to begin with the positive on this app aside from being free with the student spotify-hulu plan $5. the main issue is I can't even open the app after uninstalling and reinstalling 3 times, In which every attempt of opening the app causes my phone to keep flickering on and off the screen till i force close it. I was doing this on a OnePlus 6T on android pie. Fix your buggy startup Showtime!

I watched a ppv fight last night and it 1st wouldn't even let me in just kept clocking, I had go on and out a few times before it let me watch. Then while watching it stopped kicked me out of the whole thing to where I had to relog in and all, it would pause for a sec then start again. Wasn't my internet connection I hv over 100 mbs service it was clearly the app.

It keeps saying playback error and won't play the video

Can't even download app... won't get past the "installing..." message.

App never works or wont load. I get error messages everytime. And then, when it finally prompts me to contact them through their help page, that doesn't load either. It just says "try again later". I've uninstalled and reinstalled already, still nothing.

After reading a lot of the reviews posted by your customers I have decided not to even attempt your Showtime product! I would have had expected much better reviews. But no I have not! I'm so sorry but the amount of money that you guys are charging for all the glitches that you're having, is not worth me having Showtime!

Why are the show I added not showing up in my list. Why does it keep bumping me to episode 3 when I want episode 1? Why can't I click on the episode it's bumping me to and get a link to all episodes in the series? This is cumbersome. Not sure I will make it after the free trial.

The live TV doesn't work anymore. Keeps saying "Playback interrupted. An error has occurred during video playback. Please try again." and every time I try it's the same damn thing. It has been about two weeks with this now.

Unfortunately, when I choose to play any title, it locks up and forces me to exit. A message regarding this app states it has unfortunately stopped, which then offers me to close the app. Selection looks great, I just wish it'd work on my LG STYLO 3.

No way to sign in with Hulu. Instead it subscribed me and charged my Google account. I cancelled the subscription and will edit review once I receive my money back. I pay 8.99 through Hulu instead of 10.99 through my Google account. Great shows however I feel cheated. Look forward to hearing from you.

This app is constantly shutting down. It will bring more annoyance than its worth. Go to any other streaming app. This app is not worth your time. You spend just as much time reatarting the app as you do watching content.

not going to purchase something i already pay for. allow us to sign in using our cable provider and itll be worth my time trying to use your app. how you thought it was even a relative possibility to charge people 11 dollars a month for things they can get through their cable provider is beyond me.

There's an error message telling me that I already have an "active subscription" when I just signed up for it a week ago. I've never used my current email before on this account so I show be able to login.

Every 5 min during each Shameless episode the screen freezes and or goes solid green. Beyond frustrating that a 55 min show takes 2 hours to watch. So not worth tje $10.99 a month. Do not recommend this at all!!!
