Latest update has rendered the app useless on my Android TV. 4K UHD ability does nothing but pixelate. App uninstalled UPDATE!!! APP update solved the problem. Showtime tech people did a great job .

Edit: Showtime, here is a suggestion for you. Why don't you back out the last update that broke the app? It did used to work. It's a standard programming concept! Like everyone else, I also can't login in the app. It's in a loop. How long does it really take to fix a problem that people have been reporting for weeks? Is calling really going to help when others have the same problem. It seems to me that the app is broken. I just reinstalled it, so it hasn't been fixed. It used to work.

Service is decent with a wide variety of content. ....but that being said the app is frustrating! The app constantly logs me out thus most of the time deleting the downloads! Plus the downloads are CONSTANTLY saying ""EXPIRED" even though I just downloaded them the night before and they're available on the service still! Just FRUSTRATING! So in turn I never use the app on my phone nor any gaming systems just trash!

I wish I had read these reviews BEFORE wasting an hour with their online help service (so don't bother directing me back there, Showtime). The tech and I wasted a lot of each other's time trying to work out a known issue. Like everyone else I can't log in. FIX IT ALREADY! Update: As of 10/6/2021 they fixed it and it now connects through to Verizon to activate. Still, one star off for the runaround and delays to get it fixed.

Same issue as others have described. When you click on the Login option, you are taken to a list of providers. I select Xfinity and I'm just taken back to the home screen with no option to login. Furthermore, I've tested this on a dozen providers and the same thing happens. No matter which provider I try, it won't take me to a login option.

The Showtime app for Android has been working for years. The NEW Showtime Anytime Android app goes right back to the home screen when clicking on the provider (in my case Optimum), without asking for username and password. All other Optimum Android apps work fine: Starz, SyFy, HBO Max, TNT, etc. Only the Showtime Anytime Android app is not working. I spoke to Optimum's tech support but the person was not familiar with your app and could not help.

I can't sign in. Same issue as others. I click log in, then Spectrum, and it just goes back to the page I was viewing. I've tried it from different pages, while trying to start a video, etc., and always the same result. I am never presented with a form to sign into my provider. Customer service cannot help given this is a bug in the app. Useless to me.

Can't log in. And they refuse to fix it. Tried going to the help center they keep suggesting, but guess what? YOU HAVE TO LOG IN. Don't understand why there has to be 2 separate apps, i was able to log in fine on the streaming app. I guess they don't want customers taking advantage of promotions that our tv providers give us and just want us to pay full price 🙄🙄🙄

Can't log in. Just keeps going back to home screen. I dont have any other issues with any other apps, so pretty sure its not my phone. Every time I choose my TV provider it just goes back to home screen. It used to go to a blank black screen but after many uninstalls and re installs it goes back to the home screen. So, 1 star till I'm actually able to try out the app!!!

No longer works, which seems to match up with the experience of many at this point. It would be nice if Showtime would come on and let us know that something is being done, it's being worked on, or some other acknowledgment ... Instead you're invited to call, no thank you. Clearly this is *not* an issue with a couple of us not understanding how to click buttons and log into an app. Disappointing. Edit 9/14/21: Wow, very, very unhelpful. I even tried to humor Showtime with their canned response that they are giving everyone here. If you enjoy searching with a chatbot giving you useless answers like "How to download the app" when asking about not being able to login to the app. Ugh.
