Please note the story title color is controlled by both the widget theme and specific feed setup. If a feed declares a color, it takes precedence over the color declared in the theme. This is a feature designed to help users to quickly sort out articles visually.
The widget is highly customizable (emphasis on "highly"). Please take the time to go through the options before spreading false info because you missed a configuration option.

Found a bug? Report it through the proper channels. Issues reported via the market comment feature won't be investigated. Period.
A set of three hidden buttons are present over the title bar; they are used to, from left to right: open the widget config, refresh the widget stories (without fetching feeds) and reload the widget (actually fetching feeds). Please note that those three buttons are always present even if the title bar is hidden. You can enable the global option "Debug" to see where they are actually located.
Background rendering can be tweaked in the global options ("prefer shape over 9-patch"). Widget is best rendered with shapes but they have been reported to not work correctly on some devices. So by default a 9-patch is used. This is ok in most cases but if for some reasons you want the widget to be smaller than 3 rows (or 3 cols) you may see visual artifacts on the background borders (when rounded corners are enabled). If so, try enabling the latter option.
Limitation (HoneyComb only):
- Widget title cannot be hidden on HoneyComb (feature explicitely deactivated)
"There's only one widget size! Why?" The widget is natively resizable under HC/ICS/JB - the default size is set to 4x4. Providing more widget sizes would make the apk heavier and would clutter the widget choice page.
Doesnot work at all? Probably something wrong on your side.
Since version 2.0.0 the widget is natively scrollable under Honeycomb (from 3.1), ICS and JB. It is however not compatible with prior Android versions.

"Work not! Fix it!" Yeah, right... That's the way to ask! Or is it?
"Dev should test the app" Seriously? Do you really think it has not been tested? Whining won't bring you anything.
The source is freely available but this is mostly a one-man job. This is software thus there ought to be bugs. I cannot think of all borderline cases; also there are zillions of feeds out there and unfortunately most of them are malformed. Being rude is easy but sadly it won't help me to fix issues and it won't bring you anything neither (or so i hope).
This widget has been tested against Motorola Defy running CM9 and CM10 (Android 4.0.4/4.1.x) and Asus TF101 running Prime 2.1.1 (Android 3.2) and CM10 (4.1.x) with the following launchers:
- Apex Launcher
- Nova Launcher
- Go Launcher
- Stock launcher
- ADW Ex
It has also been reported to work correctly (i.e. as expected) against a variety of other device/rom/launcher combinations.

The screenshots don't do this app much justice! Once configured properly it's simply unbeatable. Almost every aspect is tweakable and you can set it up to your taste with little effort. I've been using it over a year now and it keeps me updated with latest news of interest daily from my home screen which is super convenient because I never need to remember to open an app to get a dose of the news. Just wish the developer would come back to the project and fix a few minor gripes.

I love this widget. I'm not a "widget" guy. I have a clock widget, and now this widget. It has a search function for feed discovery as well as the option to add your own custom feeds. It doesn't muck-about with trying to bait and switch you into paying or donating or goad you into a review. It just does what you want it to do, and that's something I appreciate in this day and age. Five stars. Highly recommend this to anyone.

Great app for scouring news for me. Can add RSS feeds and all kind of other sources. Setup took about 10mins, and I've tweaked it a few times as well. One concern, in the last 30 days, my configuration has eaten ~15GB of data, luckily it's been set to use WiFi exclusively.

I am sorry. I love the app but I can not have patience or time to not know if it works or not. Please make this better coz when you wanna read something it keeps crash from time to time. If it did work every time for me it would have easily got a 5 coz it is a very good one.

I've been a long time user of this app. It has had its up and downs and appeared to have fallen off the Play Store completely for a while. Recent iterations have been great, with fixes to performance, customization, and feed compatibility much appreciated. Recent update to Nova Launcher appears to have broken the widget, however I am hopeful that one or the other of the apps will release an update to fix this.

Does what it says on the tin. Simply and without fuss. What more could you ask? The way settings work takes a bit of getting used to, but actually does the job very well. Thumbnails appear as long as the stream is well formed and includes thumbnails.

I have this app since a long time, and just yesterday I found the reason for which my main memory got entirely occupied with apparently no reason. 8Gb of cache was kept by this Scrollable News thing, in a hidden folder. Unbelievable.

Great amount of customizable features - just what I was looking for in a widget. But now the widget will sporadically stop launching a browser so that I can't actually read the stories. I am forced to keep replacing the widget on my home screen several times a week.

Used to be a five-star app until it decided that RSS and other news feeds are no longer viable or compatible. It's no longer able to look up news feeds, either. Basically, the entire feed modification function is broken. The app's only good now if you don't mind Reuters news, which is programmed into it by default and the only one that'll work.

I'm updating this with sadness as it's stopped working since my Note 8 updated to Oreo. My home screen has been missing the widget for a few days now, it's going to be tough to find an app as good as this to take its place. It still deserves 5 stars for all the years great use I got from the app. Totally love this app, it's easy to use and does exactly what I want. Is there a way to support the developer? as I have been using this for a long time and it's only fair to give something back. I use this more than anything else on my phone.
