Good app except you have to forget the network every time to get it to connect to your scopecam. Basically, the app always takes you to the wifi settings and expects you to have to setup the wifi connection. If your phone has already connected to the scopecam before, the app will fail to connect even if the phone is already paired. This means you must forget and reset up the scopecl connection every time, which is irritating.

This app used to work now it does not. Runcam 3s previously used on this phone with up to date app, connects camera to network but that is it you cannot access the app. Gps is on. Wanted rc5 but am very hesitant now after app issues. This is my 3rd runcam so I am familiar with the app. I am a very Unhappy pappy now. ☹

RunCam is probably the single best RC camera company, there are cheaper options and maybe even better in some aspects, but RunCam has proven itself reliable and durable time and time again through the FPV community and in my humble opinion it's the only company I trust for my builds and upgrades... the app works well most of the time on the older gear and even better with the flash card option for the new models so what's there to lose besides a headache and frustration dealing with other junk?

Every time I connect app to camera, I have to do so manually. That means I have to go to WiFi, select "forget" the password, then run it again like the first time connecting. (And yes my location is on) As far as the camera goes, it stops recording after 5-10 seconds saying it can't detect memory card. I have a new 32g PNY memory card and have already updated camera to newest version and formatted memory card. If this can be resolved I will update my review.

So far I am very upset about my decision to purchase my RunCam Scope Cam. Either the software is not compatible with both android AND iphone or my Wifi on my device has never worked to begin with. The website has very little information about the Scope Cam available and the step by step process has led us to a dead end with both types of phones. Save yourself the frustration and money by getting something that actually works and get a GoPro and Tactacam.

Crashes when trying to adjust the settings in my Runcam 2 using a Pixel XL with Android 9. I can't do anything in the app to adjust the camera before I get a force close. Update 10/4/18. I updated the camera firmware and now everything is working as intended. I suggest if anyone is having a problem update the camera firmware and try again. Hey Runcam how about suggesting that first off? Maybe you do and I overlooked it which could be. Update the camera firmware not the app. I just got this camera and the app kept crashing on my Pixel XL so I updated the firmware for the camera and now it works like it should.

When I download the videos from the drone to my mobile phone I can hear audio but cannot see video. When I copy the file to my PC and then toy phone that is the only time I can see the video playing properly with sound. Please help so I can bring it back to 5 stars. This is happening with my brand new and firmware updated runcam 2 4k

Very buggy, lags terribly, range from cam to device must be within 10ft. If the app loses connection to cam during filming it will not pause or stop recording even once back within range. Inexplicably, Droid users must turn on wifi+location and turn off mobile data to make app work. The runcam2 is great and captures amazing video, the app just sucks.

I don't see any issues, it works, it adjusts all you would want to adjust and the wifi downlink is really good and fast, all in all the only thing I'd like to see is focal point adjustments.

You disabled the application for runcam hd !!!' which worked with otg plugs, your products are useless !! People don't buy any Runcam you cameras will be useless!!!!! And there is no application on the website to make a USB connection to this camera, to adjust the settings.
