TV Anderson
When you launch the app for the first time, it's great. You can watch all of the RTE content online. Any time you launch the app after that, you just get a blank screen. My Android TV (Sony XG95 running Android 9) shows an upside-down Android logo in the top-left corner and that's it. You can get the app to work by clearing the cache, but it's extremely annoying to have to do that every time. This also seems to lose the link with my RTE account and I have to re-link. Please, RTE, look into this and fix the issue!

It worked fine at first, but at some point over the summer it just started showing a blank screen when it opens (on Nvidia Shield), and it still hasn't been fixed. EDIT: I gave this another go and tried clearing all the stored data for the app on the device and this seems to have fixed the blank screen issue. Works well enough now.

When you launch the app for the first times, it works. You can watch all content online. At some stage when you launch the app again, you just get a blank screen. Probably the result of 1 year without updates to fix bugs on the Android TV version!

Works fine on a SONY KD-43XH8096 with AndroidTV with excellent picture quality, however I cannot understand why the AndroidTV / Smart TV version of tha app does not have Live TV streams like the Smartphone version does? Why is this RTÉ? Unfortunately this missing feature on the TV version makes a reasonably good app somewhat incomplete.
