Cast online videos from your Android device to Roku! This app is intended to help cast videos embedded in websites that don't have a Roku channel. Install the R-Cast channel and R-Cast app in your Roku and Android devices respectively. Once you connect the devices to the same Wi-Fi network, this app will detect your Roku devices. Browse the web for videos in the Android app and cast them to the Roku channel. It's that easy! Please note that not all videos can be cast including HTTPS, Flash videos, live streams. If you see R-Cast channel load the video and return to the home screen it is usually because of incompatible video format. Roku doesn't play all video formats that play in Android devices. Videos in the web that are not in high definition, might not look the same on your HD TV as they look in a small screen. If the video website already has a Roku channel, please use its channel. YouTube videos will not cast in Android 4.4 and newer devices, please use the YouTube app. Quick Start: * Install R-Cast channel in your Roku device: https://my.roku.com/add/rcast * Install R-Cast app in your Android device * Connect your Android device to the same Wi-Fi network as your Roku device * The app will detect Roku devices in your network * Browse the web for your favorite entertainment * In Android 4.3 or earlier, play videos in full view for the cast menu * In Android 4.4 or later, just start videos to launch the cast menu * Select the Roku device to cast and voila! * Enjoy videos on the big screen!! Upgrade to the RADICAL edition to watch videos longer than 10 minutes and resume previous video casts. The upgrade removes the ads at the bottom of the browser. It doesn't remove the ads hosted by the websites you visit. Please make sure the websites you frequent play in R-Cast channel before upgrading to the RADICAL Edition. Horrible couldn't watch a full video at all even after upgrading to the paid service would only play about 15 seconds before restarting the video and asking how i wanted to watch it. If i wanted to watch a movie on my phone i wouldn't have given this a chance

Thanks for stealing my money!! Once I figured out this horrible layout of an app it worked perfectly for a few months. Now, not so much. It will no longer cast off any site I go to. It's still connected but will cast random videos that's not even on the site I'm looking at. I've re- downloaded everything and re connected everything and still nothing.

VERY disappointed! As soon as I installed the free version, it wanted me to update and pay for the professional. I did that, and then my phone started crashing and come to find out there was malware and viruses attach this. It did not work at all and I'm very disappointed by the fact that I paid $2.49 for this. I guess there is no refund. it also kept prompting me to purchase the Roku remote, which I already have on my phone. Do NOT install this app!

Absolutely worthless and I bought it! only plays the video for 3 seconds and the cuts out and quits very pissed update switching to the 3 stars from 1 star due to their prompt attention to this review and a quick refund. the app has a ton of problems too many to list but they did handle the situation professionally and quick which isn't any more then I could ask for (barring a useable app) the company 10 out of 5 stars though!

Paid for and only played video audio for only 4 seconds then it would shutdown! App was uninstalled after refund was requested and returned. Restarted both roku, and phone for best possible chance of workable application use. I'm certainly a techie, and am quite capable of quick easy setups, with most capable of most configurations without issue. i changed my original review because i know Rcast attempted to create a usable app. Respectfully, my initial review and comment was inappropriate.

I bought this some years ago and loved it, but now it wont work at all. Roku devices appear, disappear, connected for a second then disappears, doesnt remember my nick names for even a second. Doesnt work anymore and no update. This is why I tey not to pay for apps. Nothing lasts more than a few months these days, then gotta find, reaearch, and pay for something else.

Error, error, error.... don't buy this app. It plays for 1 minute and shuts off...format error. Big disappointment.

Not very reliable. Video may start and play for less than 5 seconds then goes right back to the Roku home screen. Or video may play fine fir about 8 minutes before giving me the 10 minute cut off announcement. I would have gladly paid for the upgrade, if the app worked all or even most of the time.
