I mostly write side stories in my notepad app when my wifi is slow or when I'm bored, but yesterday i found out my notepad app apparently had a word limit. So i went to appstore and found this gem. It's easy to use, mostly beginner friendly with little to no ads, even if there's ads it doesn't seem to be a distraction. Has alot of shortcuts and convenient features to help with writing. Anyways if you're considering on getting this app for writing stories, it's a 10/10 recommendation from me

Easy to use. No distractions inside. A cleaner interface than MS Word. I don't experience the writer's block in Pure Writer that I always felt in Word. I love the way it's laid out. I'm not writing a book, but using it more as a journal and it is awesome for that. I can group my entries by subject ... maybe in a few years it will become a book... and this app is ready to make that happen. Thank you for Pure Writer!

Ive been using this app for a few months and I think its one of the best if not the best writing app right now, when you open the app right after you download it, it then shows all the information about the app and the creator. The layout of the tools are not confusing and is easy to get used to, its also very organised and pleasing to the eye. I personally think that this app is perfect for both begginer and professional users. Definetly recommending this app!!

Been using this app for years now and love it, but the most recent update added a change that's really bugging me: Why can't I type single quotes anymore? It messes with my flow to have two quotation marks pop up when I only typed one. Please revert this back to the way it was, it's really annoying.

I'm absolutely in love with this app. It's so easy to use and better than any other writing app I know of. My only complaint would be images not staying after restoring backup. But that's not too much of a problem to make me dislike the app. It's still wonderful and I'm always on it. It makes writing so easy and fun. Five stars!!

Love it, best for writing. No distractions, always securely saves. I'll write on my laptop for editing, but for stream of consciousness I'll sit and type out on here and email the copy to my laptop. I've written over 50k words using the app. Trying to buy the pro edition currently Edit: bought the pro, best £12 I've spent on an app. If your tight on cash, there's a half price sale on a couple of times a year

This is a incredible tool for any of your writing needs. Ive been writing a book for almost 5 years. Its been an on going task trying to keep chapters in order. I used many other programs and apps on my quest. When I found this app I stopped searching. The free version is writing perfection. The layout is user friendly and exactly what you imagine the perfect writing tool would be. Its running save option and time travel option are a valuable tool to someone like me that constantly missing info.

Terrific, a great start after the author replied to my problem. I'm writing a book over 20 chapters. First type a small para in each chapter, then fill in the bare bones say 1-2 A4 pages. Then read through ensuring everything in place. Then start writing - great, no writers block, no thinking outside the chapter I'm on. Just finishing off stage 2. Then to start the end game. When finished reduce chapters to a dozen. Job done! MY BEEF Why don't people write to the app maker before a bad review?

This is actually a really good writing app. Absolutely no ads, and you can get pretty far with it without paging for the extra special features. Overall 10/10. One of the best apps I've used for writing (besides Pencake and a few others)
