The MATCH Program Rating and Interview Scheduling Manager, or The Match PRISM®, is a free downloadable tool from the National Resident Matching Program® that enables Main Residency Match ® and Specialties Matching Service® Fellowship Match applicants to track programs during the interview process and create program ratings that can be used to generate a rank order list in the NRMP’s web-based Registration, Ranking, and Results ® (R3) ® system. Users of The MATCH PRISM® APP are able to: • identify and select from a directory of programs where they interview • add interview dates to their personal device calendar • rate programs on a wide range of factors including quality of curriculum and training, program reputation, patient diversity, geographic location, and quality of residents • enter “notes” about each program • calculate a composite score for each program of interest • develop a program summary to assist in developing a rank order list • access official NRMP Match Events to review

Great concept, wish it was more personalized. My concern is that the developers of this app are not helping med students fully understand their priorities in evaluating programs by making a template criteria with no obvious way of deleting some of them. Some students don't want fellowships or academia, others have their own unique things in mind, some criteria in people's minds weigh more than others so that should also be factored in as well. To make it an effective system, the app needs to start completely blank on the criteria. Prior to scoring each program, the user needs to add each criteria that is important to him/her in addition to the weight of importance to each criteria (minor, average, significant). This way, everyone will have a rank list at the end of it all that resonates much better with their gut feeling.

Basic but helpful. Should be more obvious that you can create your own criteria. It's hidden in the corner and I only discovered this later during the interview trail making it less beneficial.

Nice app -- gets quite sluggish once you've added too many programs, though. Would also be improved by linking to ERAS so that you don't have to manually add programs.

App gets stuck after I save programs till Mississippi. And it doesn't show me the program list again. All my effort wasted.
