Supported sheet music files
You can add your own musicXML (.musicxml, .xml or .mxl) as well as Midi (.mid) files (currently PDF files are not supported!).

Perfect to practice your part
Phonic Score makes it easy to learn and practice your part of any music score when you rehearse for your choir, orchester or ensemble. The playback system allows you to solo or mute any part in the score. So you can practice your part first and finally mute it to play along with the other parts as accompaniment.

Master difficult passages
The loop feature allows you to repeat any passage in the score at any BPM tempo so you can overcome the difficulties and add fluidity to your playing.

Individualize your sheet music
Sheet music in the flexible musicXML or midi format comes with a lot of advantages:
zoom in or out, show only parts you need, highlight your part, transpose, ..

This is so close to what I need. It plays the scores I created in musescore very well. Love that I can change the tempo and transpose it. However, I made my notes colored in musescore to match the colors of the bells. I needed the app to use the colored sheet music I made to play and highlight the notes so the kids will know when to play. It does highlight the notes and it does advance through the score as it plays so you can see the next section of music. But sadly it does not leave my notes colored as I created the music in musescore. One more feature I'd love to see is to be able to zoom in so that I can see 4 measures at a time 2 on top line and 2 from next line. As there will be a group of young children looking at the screen and would need the notes to be larger to easily see their location on the staff.

Estupendo, no se puede pedir más de la versión gratuíta. Estoy considerando pasarme a la versión de pago. Como sugerencia para los desarrolladores, estaría muy bien poder poner "anotaciones" de ensayo en mi versión privada de la partitura. It's an amazing app. The free version is top notch and I am considering to buy the PRO version. As a suggestion for the developers, It could be very useful to be able to make user annotations for rehearsal the private version of the score.

EDIT: The problem has been solved! Best music xml app on the market. Highly suggested! Previous problem (solved): I tried several apps for mobile music XML rendering and this is by far the best one. This would have been a 5-star review, if not for a simple but significant missing feature: the possibility to directly open a local XML file without manually adding it to the phonicscore library.

I tried PhonicScore and found it more stable with better music rendering than the one I've been using for the last few years. I can see the app is mainly targeted for music learning & practice but I want to point out that live PERFORMANCE could also be an important application of the app. Here the app must render score using maximum display area with menu bar & play/pause buttons hidden when unused. With this change and tranposing(pro), it is the perfect app for live performance.

Pro: Smooth scrolldown playback (the best) Good optimization (better than M***score) Cons: Soundfont is not pleasant to hear, very robotic (Acoustic Piano sounds obviously generated) Some elements fail to parse properly; uses metadata to generate Composer/Lyricist instead of using Musescore header elements, thus missing some fields like Arranger/Transcriber. (I tried another app called capella reader with the same mxml file and it does not have this issue.) No syncing feature for cloud

Really like the functions. But after first time play the score, tempo slowed down unwillingly withou changing anything and only corrected by reload the score. Confusing for the latest upgrade. Name changed and almost deleted the app since did not think I insyalled it. And the pro version price shot up by about 30%.

It's usable and I'm sure the paid version is really good. However there's a competitor providing much more features for free. While their app is a little bit buggier, the amount of features wins out. Being unable to change how the instruments sound makes it near impossible to tell between the parts.

The first reason I rate it a 4 star is because the reviews looked like I was going to learn the piano and the second reason I rate it a 4 star is because it has unfortunately stopped so can you please undo that for me. Thanks for telling.

MIDI input and wait for keypress to continue please. And it would be perfect for practice.

Is it possible to include backing track (MP3) to the score? Thks
