PortSIP Softphone is a SIP-based softphone for Android that uses Wi-Fi or 4G/LTE connection to make and receive calls and Instant Messages. It supports up to 1080P video call with H.264 and VP8 codec, and supports HD audio call. Codecs offered includes: G.279, G.711a/u, Opus, AMR, AMR-WB, G.722.1, iLBC, GSM, SPEEX-WB. Great App, minor issues though. There is no option to force it to run in the background. Also, when you are on a call, the screen is still active and your ear sometimes toggles the drop down bar, activating Bluetooth, auto rotate, sound, torch etc.

Done. Problem with tls solved using port number. Thanks ---- Nice but have problem with tls connection. Request timeout. Maybe it use non standard TLS port? I'm using other sip phone and it work on TLS connection.

This is a very light sip client, I really like it. Howver the last update says it fixes an issue of a blank screen when dialing, I never had this issue, but now when I installed the update I started to get this blank screen when calling voice mail. Please help !! Update: all screens whether incoming or outgoing have blank screen/interface Please roll back to old version

Looks good at the start. It was working in 30 seconds! But it won't receive calls on WLAN because I need port 5064 and preferably TCP. Mobile misses calls too. Probably needs a reliable stun or push server. I'll check for updates but for now it's too unreliable for my main business line. So are all the others BTW.

This app used to be the best but now it doesn't want to register now and then... horrible experience for my users. Other users it doesn't transmit the voice to clients who are phoning the office.

The app goes off by itself, I always have to check if it is on otherwise i cannot receive calls, its quite annoying
