Pocket has become an indispensable tool for my eclectic reading tastes. Seamlessly synced across my devices, I can pick right up with "catching up" on my reading whenever I have a few moments of spare time. Scrolling down through my saved articles, is also a window into where my mind has been in recent months and years. Terrific minimal interface, and no clutter. I love it.

pocket save read grow mod apk Very nice app, but the highlights summary page is just poorly done and the only reason I have yet to become Premium. Every word remains highlighted so you get one long page of words highlighted in yellow, so they are difficult to read. I wish it looked more like Instapaper's notes page - very clean easy to read list of highlights. Please remove the actual highlight color in the summary page - we already know they are highlights. Thanks

pocket save read grow apk I've never heard of pocket before but I get 5 emails a day from them even after unsubscribing. I literally can't stop the emails, what a scummy app using phishing to spam random people. I'm gonna assume the app is unsafe to use based on the tactics they already have in place.

Some malayalam pages are not displayed in article view. I think this is because of font issue. Please fix the issue of supporting more malayalam fonts. Overall a really good app.

I wanted an app where I could collect and save articles from the internet that were of interest to me and that I found enjoyable. That's what this app did for me ... at first. And then it started feeding me articles with an obvious political bent. I ignored them at first and modified my preferences to make sure that only articles of relevance *to me* were suggested. But the political, agenda-driven articles kept coming, more and more. The developers should realize that not everyone is interested in being "enraged" and provoked by the news of the day. I wanted to get away from all that and focus on articles that are motivational, inspirational, uplifting and that make me happy. This is definitely not the app for that. I'll keep looking for something more unbiased.

Smooth reading experience. The app remembers where you were if you restart your phone or quit the app. The integration with Firefox os flawless. Pocket is a pretty good way to organize all those articles that "sound super interesting, but I just don't have the time right now." I only wish it could take PDFs as well, that are not saved as a web page - I'd love to use Pocket for academic journal articles, as well. Despite this limitation, I'm still very pleased with it.

I love Pocket. I've used it for over five years now. I enjoy saving articles to read later on, I like that it tells you how long each read would be, I also use its recommendations section a lot to find and save interesting articles. Oh and btw it integrates very well into Firefox, it remembers where I've read up to across devices... The list is endless!

I really love this app. The best feature is that you can save a article to read later. Pro tip: if you are using Medium to read articles it only let's you read 3 per month in free version. You can share the article to pocket and read it without any problem. And also I love the dark theme.

It reads any website or blog TO you. It's a wonderful time saver if you need to multitask. Just click share on your browser and then click the pocket icon. Then open pocket app and you'll see the article there. Click the headphones icon to get it to start reading aloud.

Excellent app. One complaint, though: Sometime this month (June 2019) the problem started in which I enter a new tag & the app repeatedly doubles letters I'm typing, no matter how carefully I type. So I have to backspace & retype a lot... UPDATE: They fixed it. 5 stars!

The mere idea that you can store your favorites in one “pocket” is already great. What makes this app much better is the highlight feature. I like remembering phrases and sentences for future purposes. This app truly does wonders.

Excellent way to save articles for offline and/or later reading. Also, multi-platform. I use it to save articles to my Kobo ereader. Works great, is less distracting than reading on phone/desktop and saves you from some eyestrain.

Very efficient. I save articles that I see on social media (usually on my phone or my laptop) and I read them all on my e-ink tablet (BOOX) when I have some free time. I use it like research tool because I can tag the articles and come back to them whenever I need them.

This app solves a real problem and the best thing I find about it is how quick and easy it is to save and read an article. A quick feature request in case the team is reading this: People are busy and post saving an article, like many people I tend to forget about it and end up never reading it. It would be great if the app can help solve this problem and help the users actually read what they save over time.

One of my favourite apps now. Saves the article in a frequently easier form to read later, removes adds from the original, and it's where I can find it without searching fruitlessly for ages. Highly recommended. :)

An exceptional saving/curating and reading experience. I've been using pocket since I got my first smartphone over 10 years ago, and I have never looked for another app to perform the same functions. It does a great job, tons of options to access, read and save articles. Searchable tags. I can't think of a single thing I would do to improve this app.

First of all, I love Pocket, if I had to choose the top 3 apps that I would have on any device I own, Pocket would be #1. But now, coming to more serious details, I believe that you guys should integrate the percentage feature. What I mean is that alongside the time required to read an article, you should also input a feature that allows the user to see what percentage of the writing has he read or what percentage remains to be read. Articles listened to should when opened show the end of it.

I have been a pocket premium member for sometime now . I really like the app, especially the features around highlighting, saving articles, clutter free reading experience, listening to articles and applying tags to articles. But I would love to see features like - 1. Allow me to add a comment when I am highlighting. 2. Show me how much I've read or what's left when I am reading an article. 3. A way to subscribe to a website's RSS feed.

May 2020 Lol this still hasn't changed. Open the app and look at it. There is no way to add a site manually. How about a big plus sign? Or an Add button? The icons are still unintuitive & unlabeled. Click on a link you've saved. What's that pocket-looking icon at the top? Oh look, I just archived my link and it's gone. I didn't notice the Undo dialog before it faded away. Where did it go? You'll figure it out. And now you have to pay a subscription to keep an offsite version of your links.

This app is amazing because it allows you to see an article that you might not have time to read store it away later and then actually have it read to you. You can listen to it via audio or you can just read it as normal. You can also download them via Wi-Fi and archive them as well. It's the most important non-phone app on my phone.

Pocket is simple and easy to use. It's a great way to collate all the stuff that you want to read, reference or share - across all your devices. Any spare time I have no excuse not to catch up on reading. Only issue is I save too much to read. Great app, does exactly what it sets out to do. The daily email also puts at least one - usually more - article on my reading list.

I've been using Pocket for many years now. It's one my default apps in any new device. It allows me to storage important news I want to read later; even to keep a Diary of my brain storms, so I can go back to them by syncing on any device. The interface for reading without the annoying advertising it's one of the best features, in such a way that most of the articles I want to read I just add them to Pocket with 2 clicks and I prefer to read them from there. I recommend this app 100%.

Excellent. Really great for reading almost any web page offline and also for keeping track of things I want to read across different browsers. I haven't noticed any ads on the free version. The paid version does give you more fonts and appearance options, but definitely is not required to make this app more enjoyable. I discovered Pocket through Firefox on my desktop and now it's on both my mobile devices. I agree with the suggestion for more reminders of what you saved.

I find it very useful as a to-read list and to store links to websites I frequently need but in a limited period of time, not till the end of my life! The key feature for me is the possibility to share links between my devices. Also crucial the filtering action on web pages, removing ads and formatting elements to focus on text and its readability. Keep up the great work, Pocket!

The experience of using is exceptional. It is a liberating experience to be able to stuff everything that I read or want to read into the Pocket and access it through my phones or laptop. It is always with me and the search feature works wonders. I could never warm up to Keep and Evernote. I don't mean that those products are not good but somehow they didn't solve the problem that I was trying to solve. Pocket is like that bag where you stuff every chit, paper-cutting that you want to retain.

Tl;Dr - Realiable, Versatile, Informative. Pocket is an amazing app. It provides a place to bookmark different things on the Internet while formatting it to improve the readability of the articles. I have been using this for the past 5 years and store here all the things I find interesting. The recommended articles are also a great way of knowing about different things and give a curated list of high quality articles on various subject. Overall I'll give this app the highest rating possible.

I love this app so much! It's a blessing for when you don't want to open your browser or go through your bookmarks for the millionth time looking for that article you wanted to read but put it off for later. This keeps everything saved, organized and gives pretty good recommendations too based on what you usually read. Thank you for this app :)

Pocket is wonderful, however, this android app is poorly designed. Why can't you just let us copy and paste links? Edit: It's good to know that one can save through the browser's share button, that's a treat. I discovered this after I made my review. Perhaps the PM for the Android app is right to remove the plus button. The share button is a better experience than the plus button ever was. 5 stars.

Simply awesome. Please add option to check the story that is completed. Update : Hi, can you pls add rss feature in pocket? I mean it would be great if we can read the whole webpage from specific websites within pocket, as I think no rss reader has this much simple ui..it will really be a complete experience.

I had been looking for a good way to save things from around the web that I wanted to refer back to or save to read at a future date that was more descriptive than simple bookmarking, so I was thrilled to discover Pocket! I use it multiple times every day. The keywords make it simple to reference back to articles or find things if I'm not sure where I saw them. The only problem I've run into is occasionally something will be cut off in the middle of the original article, but it's rare. Thanks!

Makes the internet readable. it is so annoying to try to read articles and other materials that are littered with flashing, gyrating, or otherwise distracting ads breaking up all the reading material. This app is the most reliable way I have found to take reading experiences like that and turn them into simple and enjoyable reading experiences. I have been using it for years.

I've used similar apps like this. The difference is the option of listening to the articles. The UI is simple and efficient. But the content is more American centric. There is nothing wrong in it, but if you are not American, you are not going to get content that you can relate with. If they provide content based on the region of the user and provide users an option to select the area of interested topics, people will continue to use this app.

Pocket is a great companion in the age of 'too much information'. A humble Google search gives us some great articles which we love and want to revisit some time later. Bookmarking is one method. But pocket is exceedingly superior. It helps us in accessing and managing those brilliant articles. Additionally, the article mode hides the ads which makes the reading experience very fresh.

As a truck driver, this is how I'm able to hear all of the news stories while driving. I love it. The only thing that I hate is the bulk edit. I have to click on every story to delete. I'm currently behind by thousands.

TTS function isn't working very well: - sometimes it skips paragraph - after 'pause', it replay from the beginning of the article - while I listen and read simultaneously, the auto-sync is quite annoying. When the speech no longer matches the highlighted text, I scrolled up and down to find the matching text, gave up, pause and replay, the reading starts from beginning again. This happens for few times, until I decided to quit pocket app

I started using Pocket more and more in the last few weeks, as I come across a lot of interesting articles on the web, but don't want to take the time to read them straight away. It works great with the Chrome extension. I would give 5 stars, if I could hide the articles I've already read, since I don't read them in the same order as I save them to the app.

Suggestions 1) add a gray font on the black background in night mode. White text on black shines too bright and creates too much of a contrast to read at night with lights off. 2) Folder system of Instapaper is good. I could keep my leisure read articles in one folder, work related in one and news ones in the third. Please enable the folder feature in pocket too. I won't even have to use a bookmark manager 3) Add underlining feature. While researching it's good to have 2 kinds of markup tools

Great App. I have been using this for over 9 years. It is an essential reading and information resource tool for me even when offline. I prefer saving and reading almost all web articles on the App. There is scope for improvement as certain (few) web pages cannot be saved and read with ease, but that's rare.

App is really great to be honest. Helps me read big articles with ease without any distractions whatsoever. One suggestion though: If somehow we can creat a group of tags then that will help in organising the tags even further. Currently you have to scroll down to reach a particular tag, but if they are clubbed into multiple groups than finding tags will become comparatively easy.

This app has gotten me back into the groove of reading. I just hope that my feed could also include content from my region. Most if not all of the articles in my feed are all very Western and not really tailored for people like me who live in Southeast Asia. Other than that, the app is good and does what it needs to do! Considering upgrading to premium if the app offers more curated content.

I like the app, I now know how to use the tags. I don't know if this function exist, but is there a way to rearrange the articles inside the tag. The option is either by older or by newer, but it would be helpful if I could rearranged it myself for articles with continuations, without having to make a new tag.?

Used to be addicted to Pocket, & still would be except: there is no simple way to clear all articles from my portfolio. This results in a cache that overloads my phone & tablet. The method they gave me took days to complete, which I had to do from my pc, then I uninstalled Pocket from phone & tablet. When I reinstalled them, they began downloading thousands of articles that should not have been there. Clearing the cache doesn't help either.

I wanted to save a copy of a Web page still on my Android tablet that had disappeared from the website. I decided to download Pocket and give it a try. I copied the Web page, beautifully reformatted, and printed it for my wife, sent it to my Windows laptop via email, shared it with a friend, etc. Amazing and easy with no hickups!

I absolutely love this app! I depend on it all the time. I am a senior and don't see well enough to read articles but I'd like to read online, and pocket will read them to me for me. This is the major reason I have this app as well as saving material that I want to keep. God bless the Developers!

Love the feature to listen as well as read along. Helps improve vocabulary and familiarity with the content and text. News articles filtered nicely and updated promptly. Keep up the good work! The only slight issue is the lack of different voice options. Would be nice if the voice was less robotic monotone too.

Pocket is the single most productive app on my phone. It's insanely good. Best app, it encourages me to read more in the times where people spends hours just Scrolling on instagram and mindlessly watching tiktok videos.

Great app, but I really would like to be able to save not just links but also texts. I have an important message in WhatsApp and I have to see it in my PC, but I don't want to connect in Web WhatsApp. Take that suggestion (that will help a lot of people, not just me) and I give you 5 stars.

The most useful app I've ever encountered. The experience is top notch. Can't recommend it enough! My best part is that it not only saves them, but can actually read articles to you. How cool is that?

App is very hard to use, it is tricky to create tags, you need to go to an article to create your tags (if I want to create tags BEFORE to save articles, it is not possible) , it is impossible to add a simple (copy-paste) article from chrome (android) or another android app to your pocket without extensions Edit: I did not know "share" option on google app (android) to save articles (Instapaper teached me), you need to create an tutorial of how to use the app to avoid bad users experiences

Awsome offline reading app. I can simply save my web page on pocket to declutter my browser and keep a well organised list of web pages with specific tags rather than downloading the page for future reading.

Use it for years, best place to manage all your articles. I use premium version and more than once used the advanced features like search inside articles or permanent copy of the article, since pages can be down while you need to check something right now.

Hands down the best application for consolidating articles and readings. The text to speech feature is super handy, and im impressed by how natural and easy on the ears it is. The UI design is also one of the most excellent I've seen. Simple and effective. Great work!

Great reading app. No more poorly formatted websites or annoying graphics and animation. I put every single page into it to read hassle-free. And syncs with your laptop! I have an email service that delivers articles to my Kindle for free from Pocket once a day. Paired with this service, its a no- brainer.

I've only had this app for a few days and already I love it so much. It has made reading articles so much easier and fun. The only issue I had was that some articles were not completely copied but there is always the option to see the web version. Still an excellent app nonetheless. :)

Lack of "always use article view" makes for messy interface. No idea why they're missing this critical feature. There's plenty of other apps out there that do this and yet Pocket is missing this. Until they implement this, it isn't ready for consistent use. Find a better app.

I Love This App! I use it to save all the awesome stuff I find on the web, but can't dive into on the spot. Then I got back, and half the time, I let the app read the article/website to me (to quickly digest the info). It's awesome.

I absolutely love this app. This is my ally all the time. Whenever I get a few minutes here and there, I open the app, read an article or two. That's how I can read 1000+ articles in a year which otherwise would have never been possible.

Functionality is smooth GUI is beautiful and easy to use The organization aspect however needs a bit of improvement overall. Could we get the ability to create folders by design and then label those folders for specific categorical purposes? Cause then what would really be the point for tags? Give us folders for better management of our articles.

Maybe I didn't explain myself properly before. Please add a way to open links IN THE EXTERNAL BROWSER by default. The previous suggestion you gave me was to always open them in Web View which is inside the app. Know that many people are not interested in pockets features and only use it to store links in the long term and accesible from different browsers.

Used to be really good. Now the mobile app seems disconnected from the web app recommending things I've dismissed from web and providing a terribly unclear, unintuitive UI experience. The web app is terrible also but at least (most of the time) allows me to delete articles I don't want. Seek alternatives.

You would be perfect if you offer folder and underlining future while searching in other web sites so the option will pop un to highlight and get them in the folders you want. I love pocket but once you have hundreds of articles it feels disorganized and tags are not good enough with this amount. Please add it.

Great app for cross device saving of articles. Simple and intuitive UI, love the dark mode the most which makes reading articles much easier with bigger font size. It sometimes misses some part of the article though. I wish there was a function to could add in-article links to Pocket.

Disheartened. This app made me block my ATM . Automatic deduction on the completion of one year without any need for my approval . I was left guessing where my money deducted from ..so called the customer care and got my ATM blocked .. Currently living in Delhi all alone with no atm no relatives , a little cash all in CORONA QUARANTINE PHASE . This apps should give warning , 😡, when the subscription time is about to end . And use the OTP method to deduct to know the willingness
