This app was developed independently of the website and is not endorsed by the Atlas Obscura website but this app does encourage visiting that site because it's pretty cool. If you like to travel the world or explore your local surrounding with a focus on the weird or lesser-known attractions or oddities, this app can definitely help. FAQ: Q: How do I get the details of a spot marked on the map? A: Tap the marker and an information window will be displayed Q: How can I open the corresponding web page for a given spot on the map? A: Tap the info window that pops up when you tap a marker :) Q: Why does the app need my location? A: It doesn't need it and you can deny granting permission but if you grant permission to access your location then the map will auto center and zoom on your location so that might be handy.
