Brilliant app. Just wish it could save Birthdays / Aniversaries and other dates in the calendar and give notifications. And those days could also be sync'd with a google / microsoft calendars. That would be great. But its brilliant just the way it is for the functionality and ease of use. Update 24/10..You heard what I said in my earlier review and now now I have the features most sought. Thanks for the update and hope you add the functionality of syncing with Google calendars. Keep it up.

I've been looking for an app like this. I love the detailed day view. It could be a little easier For a user to switch between day and month with tabs instead of the icon and slightly confusing navigation. The look and feel could be better and look slightly less clunky.

Very disappointed to note the app update description misguides us by saying Fixed Minor Bugs when in reality, the update is just a ploy to make you pay money to install the new version of the app. Such dishonesty, that too for a religious calendar is not acceptable. Had I known I would have to pay for the new version, I never would have updated it. Very very disappointing indeed!

I was stunned to see a subscription based calendar after the update. It is shocking indeed to pay first n then use the app. At least you could have added a 'pro' version to the app for reminders & other settings. For a majority of your ardent users, you could have atleast opted for a one time 'in purchase' feature. - This is truly unacceptable.

Rating changed from 5 to 1 for not staying that the app will become chargeable post update. Had I known, I wouldn't have updated! There could've been better ways to support the developers like provide what was free as free and the chargeable content could have been the alerts and reminders you've incorporated. Additionally, updating the subscription details in the description is just an ambush. Mark the app as paid in the first instance itself!

I am not at all happy with this new version. The developer should have kept two versions choice . Old and Premium. Whoever whis to go with premium one can take or else other can still enjoy the older version which was comfortable. Developer can not take customer for granted and sell only premium app. Choice should be both. In star rating if it was negative I would have marked given negative rating for this app.

App should has been economically priced. Paying USD 10 a year or USD 1 a month for people in US is like paying Rs. 10 a year. No one would mind paying Rs 10 a year for this app but paying Rs 500 a year is expensive specially for an app which is just utility or nice to have. Imagine if one has to pay Rs. 500 a year for at least 10 apps on their mobile we will end up paying Rs 5000 and more every year which is unexpected.

Have been using this app for many years now. Am glad that Yazad made the effort to upgrade it to suit modern devices. I especially like the fact that for a yearly subscription fee I can get reminders for birthdays/anniversary etc. It's good that there is a free version too which informs the daily roj and var for those who do not wish to have a paid version.

The subscription charge is ridiculously high. One can understand a one time charge but an annual subscription at this rate doesn't have any justification. One can easily check the same details online on websites which is free. Good luck with your endeavours.
