I've played alot of these types of games and I wouldn't rank this among my favorites. It's difficult and the A.I. plays well, but I feel like I'm playing a race against the A.I. rather than a strategy game.

This isn't my favorite game from this developer, but it is still good as I've come to expect from all of their games. It can be a little frustrating but once you figure out the AI strategies it becomes easier. PLAY IT Thanks for another great game.

Just finished level 900. I play half-speed with liberal use of pause and "send half" (enabled in options). Have yet to need to skip any levels, but learning the AI strategy took some time and made me lose a lot of early levels for a while. Originally gave 4 stars, increased because of the sheer amount of time I've spent. Still want a better way to share and play player levels which can create unique challenges that the random map generation can't do (connect diatant points, cross paths, etc.

Yiotro, you're a genius. I've never sunk this much time into a mobile game before, but it's such a great system that I enjoyed it all the way thru. My one complaint is that there's no reset button that undos your progress so you can play thru the campaign again (pls add it). Get this game.

A simple fun game. Rather addictive. Ad free, but I plan on buying one of Yiotro games real soon. Many good games to choose from and this is one of them.

Very fun strategy game. Level difficulty varies but great for casuals and people who love a challenge alike

I love this game, and it would be worth 5 stars if not for two things. One, Campaign mode gets repetitive. It seems like the same few games in rotation, with varying difficulties but not increasingly. Skirmish has more layouts and therefore I wouldn't call it a 'campaign'. Second, and worth almost the full two star deduction for me, is that the screen moves around and is sooo frustrating. I get why, as some of the layouts are slightly larger than the screen. But a different approach is needed.

I love everything about this game. It's incredibly simple, and definitely a good case of "easy to learn; hard to master". The way the dev's games all seem to take genres and apply this deconstruction to them very much appeals to me (I bought them all). I'm sure it's really hard to determine and rank the difficulty of levels, but some seem out of place. Most notably I've struggled for hours on level 35, but levels after it are pretty easy. I'm not saying 35 is unfair, but I think it's maybe placed way too early. I'll try revisiting it after I get better. Edit: I revisited 35 after getting to the 60s, and after a few attempts I was able to beat it! It really felt like it was too far out of reach at the time, and although this may not have been intended it felt amazing to go back even better at the game and beat it. I am glad it played out like it did.

Absolutely spectacular. Without the excessive graphics or ads that become distractions in other games of the same category, this one offers a full campaign, a fresh new editor mode (this is what really sells it, thank you so much) and skirmish mode where you can get randomized creations tailored for a higher difficulty. I'd like to see more than 4 players (perhaps co-op?) and bigger map templates in editor. All in all this game is extremely enjoyable, and I'm excited to see more content.
