Good concept and the app is well implemented for posting, discovery, and messaging. I'm glad that this app made it easy for me to give away things that I don't need anymore, but which other people would benefit from. The pop-ups to support the app are really really annoying though. I get that they need money to support the project, but it feels really frustrating to be harassed and interrupted by the ads several times a day while I'm giving away loads of stuff for free! It honestly made me want to stop using the app and just throw my stuff in the bin. I think if they just made it so that the ads to support only showed at most once every few days, this would be a big improvement. Also their bot is very annoying and there's no way to disable it as far as I can tell. This is detrimental since I want to treat messages from people as high priority and get a sound notification, but I don't want to be spammed by their bot, and there's no way for me to differentiate the two. They should use a separate notification channel for bot messages so I can make them lower priority notifications.

Development issues. It's buggy to use, and the user experience is too frustrating to bother. Good idea for an app, but I'd rather go back to freecycle and uninstall this buggy frustration.

Awesome app! And it legit works. I downloaded it to get rid of some non veg food that was mistakenly delivered to me and I am a vegetarian. By the next day morning I had a couple of requests and one of my neighbours picked it up. I was a little skeptical initally to share my address but its a legit app with genuine people on it. This is a great initiative by the founders. Kudos!!

It's a really awesome program that helps those that live and work paycheck to paycheck. With the cost of living in San Francisco, it's great to see that someone is looking out for those that are working but still struggles at times. Even if it's not food, the non food items also helps with stuff you need. Using the service I felt the need to definitely give back. Absolutely LOVE this app! It's a great way to get rid of your unwanted food & non-food items by giving the stuff to others in need! When I first joined I posted quite a few food items & somebody requested them, then picked them up quickly! Also have experienced getting things from others. ALL of my experiences have been with great people. Its a fantastic app!

app is completely broken. i tried to sign up with an email, when i press submit nothing happens. even tried with a facebook account and it asked me for an email, resulting in the same issue. also when you create a password on the app, the first character is auto capitalized. let me know if y'all need help developing this app. it's a great idea but could use a nudge in the right direction.

I really, really like the concept. But can you expand the available search radius? I live in Alaska and everything is spread out. I'm aware that Olio probably hasn't caught on in Alaska just yet but maybe I could find out if I could search further than 16 miles. It's not unusual for me to travel 50 miles for a desired item if I have multiple reasons to be in that area.

I am truly grateful for this app and i try to get plenty to bring to others without transportation and are in need near where i stay. So i tried to rate this app a 10 ⭐ but it only allows up to 5⭐

This is a fantastic way for people in the community to give back to one another. I posted something and someone had replied with in a matter of minutes that they needed the item. We set up a pick up time and I set the box outside because of the social distancing. It was a very smooth process. I wish more people in my area used this app. It'ss phenomenal!!
