The food tradition of Odisha is very old. It is good for health, because lesser quantity of oil and spices are used in a majority of the Odia recipes. The daily offerings by way of 'Maha Prasad' made to the holy deities in the ancient temple of Lord Jagannath at Puri, reflects the food heritage of Odisha. There is a need to popularize the Odia recipes, so that its uniqueness is known to all. This is the motto of this App which is derived from the website OdiaRecipes.com . The recipe of almost all categories of Odia foods are available in this App, such as Vegetarian, Non-vegetarian, Pitha (Pancakes), Sweet dishes, Saga (Leafy Vegetables) and Rice.
