I love handcent. Love how you can change and hide the private box! Its awesome! Plus all the features.! Just wish they had more themes and options for icons. But still love it so much I always download it first when I have to switch phones or anything. And I love that there's no ads! If there is it's not constant. I can't remember lol. I don't pay attention but I don't think there's any!!

Still love this app..... However, after using it for about a year, I am unimpressed with the swipe key texting. The app keeps changing my words to irrelevant corrections. I am having to go back through every text and make sure there were no errors. This is frustrating. I am looking for a different app. I would still recommend this app to anyone who asked. But..people who swipe key text will be very disappointed that the apps learning function is so inferior.

Great texting app. I paid for the opportunity to use more features and it's worth it. I have tried several apps for texting both free and paid. The interface is very simple and easy to use. I have a dual sim phone and it allows me to pick which sim to text from. SMS is easily converted. All the features works well with other programs and o love the preview features. Great SMS text messaging app, been using it for years, back-up/restore are easy to use. Continuing to get better with each update.

During 10 years of use the devs have listened to their users and continually improved Hancent, adding features, refining its intuitive interface, and improving responsiveness. Updates have been solid — none gave me any problems. All this delivered consistently during 10 years of use, a very comprehensive sampling period. 5 Stars

I've used handcent for 5+ years. I even subscribed to their sms storage service for several years. Now, the app crashes on my phone constantly. Plus, whenever I send hi-res images to someone, it sends them a link to the image instead of the image itself. Today, I open the app to find ads on the bottom of my conversation list. That's completely unacceptable to me. I'm sad to say I'm done with handcent.

I was having issues with my previous text messaging app cus of some kind of blocker that my cellular provider has on my line apparently my phone wasn't compatible to their network. Anyways I wasn't able to receive any type of gif or video messages. After months of downloading and testing different text messaging apps with no success. I recently came across this one! With this app I was able to bypass that issue and receive mms and sms messages like normal. It allows you to customize EVERYTHING!

I love being able to customize for each contact. I also love being able to ❤ 👍😂❗on messages. I can reply to a specific message, by press and holding, so your messages make more sense when redponding. Ive been using this app for years. It just keeps getting better.

Most recent update caused problem with night mode. Now all the lettering is in white and hurts the eyes. Very poor design. Please fix Edit: handcent response to previous was all lettering is white. Please explain how that helps? Useless response. Dark mode now causes eye strain and help responds with use a different setting until update. [fXx16VQc]

I absolutely love this App, many themes available, private message box, backup messages to cloud. So many great features! The free option is good, but I'm paying to have more space since I don't like to delete my messages. I highly recommend!

Great app but... all of a sudden, I'm not being notified of texts even though it's marked for notification. I don't get the banner nor the text tone. What happened??? It was working great, I could personalize text tones for different people and customize. Now it doesn't notify me.
