Reviews From google play store

For any of you future developers, Mimo has my recommendation. It offers you more than what you expect at the start, and allows you to get a better understanding of what you are learning. I have previously developed websites, stopped for like months and forgotten even just the basics, thank God this exists because now my memory is refreshing and I am even learning newer things.

If you have the money, this could be a great app to learn to code. However everything is locked behind a paywall. I would suggest maybe allowing users to chose which course they can take for free when first downloading the app instead of html since not everyone is looking to learn that language. Other then that, the app is super user friendly and has a lot of potential for those looking to learn to code.

This is the easiest entry into coding I have found and I have tried dozens of apps, tutorials, websites, etc. The first level per topic is free, so the minimal $6 a month for the rest is not required to learn concepts - but in everything I have tried, I have paid for this, and a $24 life sub to programming hub. This is the app I recommend to every new member of my Career Karma tech entry community. I wholeheartedly believe the proper start is the best assurance of success; m1m0+CK=success!

Every other time I code something in an exercise and tap the next button, the app says "the code hasn't been executed" and greys out the next button, so the only way to complete the exercise is to restart it. The report button also doesn't work, so basically everything is broken. It's very frustrating that I have paid money for the broken thing.

Fun, Exciting, and Informative. This app is perfect for beginners or even more intermediate programmers that may want to brush up on their coding or learn a new coding language. Either way it is great! Clean, Functional user interface that has a great flow inline with the lessons. Looking forward to seeing how far I can go with this app!

This app is very user-friendly and it's a great way to learn the basics and advanced knowledge of coding. The subscription costs are cheap too, if you're serious about diving deeper into each lesson, by participating in examples, based on what you learned. There's certificates to work towards, which you can put on a resumé to get a real job coding. However, I can't give it 5 ⭐ because they ask you to rate the app after every lesson; hoping it doesn't now for me, but I'm knit-picking.

Great and easy to use but one thing that frustrates me a lot is that sometimes in some lessons it tells you to type some thing like and it automatically selects a different area for you to type it even after you selected the top space, it did this to me and it took me ages to finally get it to type where I wanted it to! But other than that, this app is really good and I highly recommend it with what I've seen so far. (Edit) Also sometimes it would add stuff I didnt type/click.

This is an excellent app for those who want to get into programming or need a refresher! I love the way they incorporate real world examples to explain some very complex terms. Some are put off by the price but I'd say it's a very good investment and gives you a good framework to build your studying around.

This app is very good and the lessons are very helpful. My only problem is that there are tons of bugs when doing lessons and calculating sparks. Also when i completed all the lessons of the forst course. It said there was more but i couldnt find it. It said all the lessons were mastered

Pleasant interface. Unable to sign up/in using password manager (Email and Password inputs don't respond to auto-fill. Pocket app is the only other app with this problem). I was hoping to see course library before having to hand over contact details. Courses appear to all be introductory level and front-end oriented but I can't comment on their quality since they are paywalled. If there were some more advanced topics, like in-depth programming patterns and code optimisations, I would commit.

Very good app. The only problem is that u need to pay every monthto keep learning. Which is ok but would be better if you can buy it once and not every months/years. So not everybody can access it. So I'll stop.to use it even if is really well done. Congratulations anyway

See sometimes intuition is not needed and this is one of those times! The creators of this app gets It.. they understand & im sure overstand the totality of what the user needs to be successful and that's if and when said user is applying themselves and taken this coding endeavor on you have no choice but to get it! Rated 5 ⭐ = No Brainer 🎓💻💯

Love it! I downloaded this app as a supplement to a cosing class im taking in high school as an elective and its so informative and engaging. I would recommend this for anyone who needs to learn the basics from scratch

Really like Mimo. Done loads of coding. I was great when I started Mimo. I love Mimo. But what you could really improve is that maybe you could give easier questions. I hope you make more improvements in the meantime. I hope you make more improvements in the meantime. And make more coding apps.

Coding has never been so fun. Seeing obvious results is a plus point. Applying practically what you learn is the best thing to do and this amazing application provides it. Thank you so much ❤

So far so good. And then I realized there's a weird catch, the "Browser" tab doesn't show anything. I tried on another device it does show the result of the code, and I only in the beginning of html.

Great! Worth 5 stars, but still needs some new features. It would be great if you could do online video lectures too. And also it would be better if you could add some more subjects like English, Mathematics.

It so cool! I loved it but if you don't want to pay money you cannot use all things. And premium is expensive... And its language is English you cannot change it to your language :((

It's great and great for beginners and experts but my only complaint is that the premium feature is almost a must have but I don't want to pay for learning about coding every month but other than that I think its great

It is the BEST. I reduced one star because if we could use the playground feature without using the premium version 🙏 please You can download grasshopper. It is even better for learning javascript. Also free playground feature in it

This has been some of the most fun I've ever had. Im computer stupid lol, but this app really helped me to understand not only the how's, and what's, but the why's of coding as well. You guys are awesome. Now invent one that teaches us how to hack fb.......jk guys lol. Thank you so much for this!!

It's very to good to learn the coding. I never had any idea about coding now if I know bits of it ,all the credit goes to Mimo. You have to practice daily though otherwise you will lose the touch and forget everything.

It is nice and easy to learn, fun as well not overwhelming,no more chapters upon chapters and paragraphs upon paragraphs of reading. It teaches basic html css and javascript.A lot more options for paid users so that is a plus.

Very good application ! Gives you the feeling that you have the knowledge of coding already in you .Smooth interface to play with . Highly recommended. Give it a try !

This app is great. I'll give me a try and see how it goes while I'm absolutely a new a,b,c beginner. The app makes it as simple as it could in practice coding. I like it. Thank you

It's good for beginners... But I hate it when you have to retype symbols and it doesn't let you remove the symbols that automatically appears. Specifically these symbols >, =, }...

I like it, it would be great if you had multi-language support, or something like collaborations to translate the app to languages like spanish, portuguese, or рускии, for the people who doesn't speak english

the app is too simple, the problems to solve are super poor and basic, they pretend you to learn code with just one line and pay for that, also the interface sucks

Easy learning code app. I like it for another reason and that is we learn things level to level. It will help to learn in an better way. Thank you! But please unable the purchase pack!

I've only just started and I'm already enjoying this app. As a 12-year old I think it would be cool to start coding and stuff. This app really helps make coding consistent for me, and even though I haven't played this long enough, I'm petty sure it will help anyone with coding!

One thing is holding me not to purchase this app is challenges are not refreshing. They should be daily and btw you can resolve challenges and keep getting points which you can manipulate the weekly leaderboard.

Just got started, but I love the format. Seems well made and interesting. Only wish premium was a bit cheaper... I would definitely pay 5 a month but I dont see myself paying 10.

I find this app absolutley brilliant. I can pick it up in my spare time on my phone or in my browser. It's great for developing your skills and keeping the basics sharp.

This is a very good app. It helped me a lot to learn about how to code. It is good for beginners. It just needs a little improvement in making people understand coding more clearly. For example: In the CSS course, there is a very little explanation which is difficult to understand. And in the different courses, after completing the level, sometimes a "psst" appears at the bottom but it gets covered with the a box and I am not able to read it. For this reason only, I'm giving this app 4 stars.....

Mimo really helps beginner and master coder alike! Detailed info! Only downside is we need to pay for the full course. But we can not blame them, because they also need to feed themself to continue providing teachings in this great app! :)

AMAZING! It is an great app for beginners to coding. I learned quite a bit from this app myself. I love it.

Really user friendly, starts you out with baby steps if you've no experience and quizzes you all the way through to make sure you're understanding the material. 👌🏻

It's a really good app but you have to pay just to go to the next level of a learning part. Sooo thats why I gave it only two stars.😒☹🙄😪

Really enjoying this app. Easy to use and gives you everything step by step. Most importantly there is No ads popping up. 100%

Very useful app, gets straight to the point, and you get rewards for getting questions right

So far so good apart from when i do the HTML at the start of the type ( ) it jumps to the bottom as soon as i type rather then the top where i have pressed to start typing

It had all I needed to start my programing dream, but Premium is needed for a lot of stuff, so if you dont have the cash, dont get this.

It's a little slow pace, but writing code is not easy. The lessons don't fill you with too much to take in at once. Thats what i like about the app.

i really enjoy this app more than anyone else. but why i didn't rate 5 stars, because its a paid app you must upgrade to get premium subscribtion. any way i like the free part of it. 😍

I thought there will be some free stuff but nothing.. This app would be great when it offers something for free. For every single programming you need to pay!! Plz add free stuff as well.

The app is really wonderful especially that it gives the right path to follow. So I suggest this app to anyone with zero coding experience and want to learn it. It is awesome.

Soo...I decided to download after seeing an ad. The first thing im greeted with is there outdoor store. They advertise a "rugged mug" for $418!! What the hell? Won't even waste my time with the app especially since you can't learn anything unless you go premium.

Definitely recommending this app since it is extremely user-friendly with a beautiful minimalist design that makes the user feel as if coding is not as scary as some future programming students might think it is

Really amzing👍 i tried many apps to learn coding but it os to hard to learn with them because they do not provide proper information but Mimo, best app to learn coding i love it.It provide information in an easy way and also ask questions after completing the lesson which is like a revision.thank you for making this app

free version is bad bec. It dosen't care for the student u can only take the exercise once and u can't take it again for refreshing, there is no tests and u have to study the curriculum that they give u which is poor I hate it,for me I spent alot of time studying c# for free before this app and I find this app amusing and time saving but for the premium part; it's so abusive to the information u give to the world,I think that u should either make it free or make it a one time purchase for the app

This app is very smart on how it teaches you and helps you retain the knowledge. I would take this over any other coding app.

One of the best ways to learn coding! Super helpful and easy to understand, definetly recommend getting the app and premium membership completely worth it.

Not bad, I learned a lot about html in just 2 days. It has a premium version that is advertised. As well as I wish I could replay lessons

I haven't gotten into it enough for 5 stars. Not enough critical thinking in the beginning. Also it would be best to have a test and move forward with what we don't know.

You can't even check out the languages. I wanted to look at the different courses, the first lesson in each should be avalible.

Very comprehensive. Really letting me learn coding. Though it does freeze sometimes. Not really an issue

Starts with the very basics and walks you through the meaning of the code you're producing. It's very helpful.

Enjoyable. Walks you through practical, real world, examples to help build a coding way of thinking. Aswell as code repertoire.

It really fun to use but, I been experiencing a glitch were I dont get any points towards my daily goal

This is great especially the way you get to interact after every bit of info to test it out!

It was a good way to learn but easier than I thought. It can be better if tries to ask few but more logical questions

I absolutely love how it ask for feedback a nd how you make our own specific tests! I'm a kid that is so excited to learn from this app!

This app is awesome! It's great for people getting into coding and it's easy to learn, use, and understand.

Great app but no feature to practice real coding for free. Not everyone can afford this yearly payment. Please give a little free version of this app

seems decent in it layout but you cannot actually do anything without a $60 a year subscription. its all locked off.

I like it so far, it is a very simple introduction to coding. However I don't know what the < and > symbols are called

after finished a html task, It didn't show the result :( I mean like the view of a real browser. Very annoying.

Only a few things like 'html basics' 'javascript basics' are free, otherwise other programming languages in this app are paid. It's boring

Experience still going on but also very informative,😍 rather there should be more language to opt .😠🤪 👕 ⚡☔

I think it's the best app to learn how to code. Cuz I didn't know anyting and now I actually know what most of the stuff means, even though I just started.

Its pretty what you could expect, a good learning app with almost less ads and more content, loved it.

Pretty good app, but unless you want to subscribe, it's a huge waste of time and memory. They claim to be having a pay free option, but that is only a demo that lets you try a single lesson on any desired path. Untill they release more free content, I can't with heart give a higher grade. There are numerous pay free ways of learning code, recommend giving them a try instead.

App is fun and enjoyable and seems like it has a lot of useful features. Like most apps, i was expecting there to be paid content and ad service for the free content...but I didn't think that the amount of free content would be as limited as it is. I was able to get through level 1 of lesson 1, but any further would just point me to the 'join premium' page. Such a shame.

Great app, easy to understand. Easy to learn. Great app easy as pie

I just started using it but so far so good. It's easy to understand and implement. This bring said you do have to pay a subscription which I didn't find it about until after they asked me to leave a review. Still the first few free steps are easy to understand, however I'll look for a free app. I would recommend Mimo let users know up front it's a subscription based app so it doesn't seem so deceptive.

It's a good app but the abilities are very limited. You have to pay to do alot of courses

Its a grate app and it makes things easy and doesnt give any stress Perfect for slow learners and adds are not a problem

Taking into account the free version I think it's an useless app. It can only be used to see the structure of the contents there. Except for the "Getting started" sections all is blocked and only can be unlocked with a subscription. It would be good to have some "Free courses" section to try the app seriously and evaluate if a subscription is worth.

Decent app so far. Tried the free version which is just the level 1 lesson in each category. Bought the premium version for 45$ CAD for a year. most expensive app ive ever bought, but with that being said i've learned a ton about code with this and would recommend it in a heartbeat if you're looking to learn and want to take "classes" on your time. Only thing I could say to improve it is to enable offline use.

This app will take you through the basics, all the way to intermediate coding. Big thumbs up from me.

Its waste..all you have to do is click on tabs..they dont actually let you write code..just click on the answers..if you wont writw it you wont remember anything..plus you cannot re do the tutorial after level 1 crosses to level 2

It's hard to rate an app when you can't experience all it has to offer, even for just a limited period. If there was a free premium period, like 2 weeks or a month, where I could really get to see what the higher levels have to offer, I may be inclined to subscribe. But without knowing what I'm really paying for, I couldn't bring myself to pay for it. Hell even if you had to subscribe, and just had 2 weeks or a month to cancel before being charged, that would work.

I would've for sure loved this app if you didn't have to pay for a subscription to continue further than the FIRST lesson. I understand that you need to make money but damn like put some ads or something. It hurts that to continue this coding version of duolingo, cause that's what it reminds me of (except duolingo is free), I have to pay $30 or more, can't remember the exact price.

Free version is way way way overly simplistic, and should have users typing it in, instead of selecting buttons. They'll never learn to "code" by pressing buttons, when they should be typing. Forcing me to start alllllll the way from back here is a bit frustrating too. I can't afford to pay for Mimo, but not sure I would, considering the format....

Very good but I had to pay to learn more than the basics which it didn't say in the discription .

This app is so cool! The instructions are simple and it is perfect for everyone! Thank you for making this app

I love using mimo, it has enhanced me to be able to be a developer. I now am creating games and am very succesful.

Great app for beginner children as well as people who just try to improve their coding.

It's a great app for learning but ,it doesnt display "browser" on my android phone.

The app itself, so far, seems amazing but the fact that it is listed as free despite everything outside of the most rudimentary of lessons is behind a paywall is off putting. I would have preferred that the app itself had a price to install, or at the very least include just a few more basic lessons funded by ad revenue, similar to how Duolingo makes its revenue. I wholeheartedly understand why more advanced lessons would cost money, but you can't even finish the beginner's lesson for free.

This app is amazing because it makes test. This app is so Organized because you have to put alarm

So far I am really enjoying this app. I always wanted to learn how to program, so this is a great app to help me learn some easy things.

This app is great for anyone wanting to learn how to code. I liked it as free and it was easy to use no bugs. Great app, so great I paid for premium... and found the paid version had more bugs than on the free version. The Big issue I'm having is for each accomplished level the loading time for "collecting you sparks" just keeps loading. I left it for more than 90sec. Still just loading. When I press to go back it don't count my "sparks" or register it. Such a shame. Please fix this bug!

A very very super Great app indeed . it help u undetstand the learning of the html better . great indeed .

It was great at first but when I realized that literally almost everything is accessed by mimo premium kind of makes it more of a payed access app instead, and you cant learn full lessons of everything other than mimo premium, and you cant decide which language you want to go with and fully learn everything you need to know, if you really want to learn full coding and maybe continue it to a whole career for your life I would probably suggest solo learn, other than the leaderboard this app is bad

Got a deal through my email for 25% off, tried to see it in app, but it showed full price (60$ or so).. Few days later after the deal expired I got an email that offered a one-year subscription for about 55$ so I went ahead and just signed up for that. Then I signed into it on the app and it didn't recognize that I paid for the subscription. So I cancelled the subscription on my computer and then tried to sign up for it in the app and it offered a $90 price tag. This app is garbage.

Nice and simple. Easy skill to learn and aportune for finding jobs in today's market.

Its fun tho But u can't ascess other parts apart from the ones given to learn And u can't upgrade too without the premium stuff....this one's nt cool

This app is good for learning but some things wont appear and they ask you to pay for premium if you want to learn more. I would recomend the coding app grasshoper instead.

Potentially great, but how would I get an idea if it's worth it if it only lets you have one single lesson? And I don't mean one for each language, not even that! Just one for html. Of course I would pay for the full courses and the certificate (which is cool), but how why do it when I can't understand if it suits me and see a couple of beginning lessons of each language to see if it's worth spending my money??? Pitty...
