Well, the downgrade is because few days after a successful start, Mimo is forcing me to upgrade to PRO, with very few or non options to move forward, and feedback only by emails. To me Twitter works wonders when I'm looking for fast response. To day I wasted my time trying to make my Mimo's daily lesson.

  2. guest-avatar

for pc I had no experience or understanding of coding. I needed an app that would give me a head start to bootcamp. This was perfect! I find that the app gave me the fundamentals and confidence to continue learning. I can't express enough how grateful I am to this app. I highly recommend if you are like me, with no working knowledge of coding and want to gain a general understanding of these particular languages. Definitely worth the purchase!

  3. guest-avatar

premium I'd steer clear from this app. The courses are good enough and is a great price for a year of content on html, css, javascript and whatever other misc courses offered (though it seems it might not be worth it to get more than 2-3 months). But the text editor is terrible - often writes backwards, doesn't let me put spaces or delete things or is outright empty for no reason. They haven't been responsive to my complaints either. I will try to finish the app since I paid, but I'd advise you not to.

  4. guest-avatar

cracked apk Mimo has excellent lessons and projects and competitions and streaks that guide your learning at your own pace but encourage you to maximize it. The pro version is worth the annual £20 as it allows further development of each section and the creative projects to show you what you can do with your skills. If you are not new to HTML, this might not be as useful, since you have to complete all the basics before getting on to anything difficult but it is a superb app for beginners!

free This app is perhaps even better than Sololearn; the desktop version of Sololearn is engaging; however, it is in the mobile arena that Mimo shines. The app is straightforward with the ability to code and without ads within the tutorial. The only gripe I have is that the fee for the Pro version is rather steep.

  6. guest-avatar

price I'd more or less give a 3.5-3.75 stars, but I can't. The reason being I've noticed on some tasks it would leave out information. When I go to correct it with the new information I am given; after I've gotten it wrong. 50% of the time it would say I was right. 50% of the time it would say I'm wrong. Please add all information to your tasks.

download The free version gives you a general overview of the very basics, which was way below my expectations. The excercises are really good but the buttons often cover the output and the content hidden below the buttons can't be accessed propperly, so you have no idea what you just did.the reward system seems also pointless imho. You can't go over the lessons you've completed, so you can't take a look at concepts you no longer remember. I won't risk getting the pro version. I would give them 4,5 of 10

  8. guest-avatar

crack App looks great, but is extremely restrictive and locks you out of a lot of lessons. Without paying you are stuck on each skil at lvl 1. Not expensive, but forces you to pay and also forces you to go through all content types. You cannot choose what language you want to learn, you just start with html and have to follow through all lessons until you reach what you really want.

pro This app works fairly well and is helping me get the basic of programming with these languages. It beaks down concepts into easily assimilated bits and build on previous concepts to simplify learning. Only annoyance is i see the results of code i run at times as it is below the bottom of the visible page. Not really a big deal. I would recommend this app as a valuable learning tool to anyone interested in learning computer programming.

  10. guest-avatar

premium apk Good app to get the foundation of a coding, it's a little confusing at first glance but once you get the hang of the apps teaching style you really start to learn programming. Best money I've spent in a while. Having a text editor in your phone apps helps with learning.

  11. guest-avatar

Good and fun app, but really isn't free, can't even do the previous lessons again, so it's just to get a quick and brief overview of coding rather than to actually learn coding, it's a pity I actually really liked learning with this app but I'm moving to SoloLearn for the reasons mentioned above

  12. guest-avatar

I've tried a bunch of different coding apps and this is the best one, by a long shot! I decided that I wanted to learn some coding, but have nearly no experience. I tried a few different apps before committing to the paid version of Mimo. Why did I choose Mimo? The other apps started at a place that was more advanced than absolute beginner and didn't explain the steps and processes. Mimo starts from scratch and explains things very well all along the way. The game-ifying makes it fun!

  13. guest-avatar

If you want to learn how to build a webpage it's not bad, but all of the lessons other than HTML, CSS, and Javascript are garbage. They move you forward way too fast without actually explaining the concepts they're quizzing you on, so it's just trial and error. Then you move to the next concept without sufficiently drilling on it so you don't actually retain anything. And none of these awful lessons are even available unless you've paid for the app. Ok for websites, garbage for everything else

  14. guest-avatar

Love/Hate Relationship I love the app... i love the instructions... What i dont love is there are several times when i enter a solution and it appears in the browser correctly, but still shows i entered it incorrectly. I will go back and confirm it is correct, still same response. I will then have it show me the solution.... and it does not change... it is the exact same solution i have entered... I feel it may be a bug... i will gladly forward screen shots... Other then that... i love it!!

  15. guest-avatar

I paid for this app and I'm member, but Mimo failed me. It gets really boring very fast. the huge number of brackets and parentheses and old techniques. It feels like 90s when you're in the app. There's no need for these outdated line coding anymore, is there?

  16. guest-avatar

    thao nguyen tran minh

This app is awsome. It seperates the whole course into smaller parts so that you can gradually learn it everyday without presure. It contains exercises with short questions right after the any piece of information which helps me absort all the lesson right away. Besides, the UI/UX is so so friendly. That's just beyond my expectation. Highly recommend this app for beginners or those who don't have much time to learn. Thank you 😍

  17. guest-avatar

Though to utilize all the classes you have to buy a subscription, it is worth it. This is better than most programing classes and it gives you options on what field you want to concentrate on.

  18. guest-avatar

It teaches a complicated subject in a no presure way. I'll never work as a programmer, but I love when a look at a webpage and understand the magic that makes it work. It's way more constructive entertainment than a bubble matching game. M1mo makes me feel smart, but I don't have to be a genius to use it.

  19. guest-avatar

Easy to understand even for newbies. Takes into account the time one is willing to invest in learning. Has exercises at the end of each lesson to make it easy to retain what you've learnt. This was an easy 5 star rating to give.

  20. guest-avatar

Really good, they have improved a lot in the last few months :) - would love to see though - the date of my subscription expiry, as I couldn't find anywhere - apart from that, a lot of practicing opportunities.

  21. guest-avatar

Great. Its like the duolingo of computer languages. It gives a really good foundation if you're new to coding. Not sure how advanced it goes but after you learn the intermediate content you could always just pick up an advanced book online. Overall, I think it's a very good app.

  22. guest-avatar

I started learning web development a month of too ago so this app is absolutely amazing at keeping that knowledge fresh, in great bite size rounds, it's perfect for an on the spot top up of knowledge. Best app I've downloaded. This app is great if your in the same position as me.

  23. guest-avatar

    Christoph Schuette

The app is very similar to that Doulingo concept.Lessons on various topics of a language with different lvl.Its a good concept that builds up and gradlly adds to your knowldge. You unlck the more adv topics by compl the basics they build up on.It seems at the beginning there is only html available.Higher lvl of a topic are not available unless you upgrade to pro.Other languages than html are also not available unless u upgrade. What you can try out seems good, but you cant really tell what u get

  24. guest-avatar

Thank you, for real. This app is teaching it's user in very creative way. Also it does help me a lot in my progression about learning code due to my short spare time, because it's really need a little bit of time to spend, and this is worth it.

  25. guest-avatar

Only have gone through the begining session, but definitely a good tool for somebody trying to continue learning on the go or just gettting into learning code before diving all the way in. But they go back over stuff you already were asked to review it and see you remmeber it which is nice inseted of going over it once and never explaining it again

  26. guest-avatar

It is a great app the only problem is that you cannot access the same content that you access in a phone in a computer. In a computer you can only complete the projects but you don't have access to the lessons like in a phone. Please fix it!

  27. guest-avatar

Excellent training format for a beginner in html/css/java that gives short lessons and exercises you can take any time. I was encouraged to do a little each day over a few months, and the knowledge sticks better that way than reading through a coding book in one day.

  28. guest-avatar

I'm enjoying it so far. Not very complex. And I'm satisfied with my progress so far. I'll edit this review accordingly as I use the app. And the design and layout of the app is very clean and simple. Expert work done here!

  29. guest-avatar

Don't update because it lose track of many completed modulars and you have to do them again. It says if you update the glossary will be opened but it still doesn't unless you pay. Lastly it nag you to pay for a upgrade to often.

  30. guest-avatar

Pretty good from a programming novice point of view. I am placing what i learn into a M1MO playground window to practice and see how it looks as a web page...still a long way to go but i am sticking with it at the moment.

  31. guest-avatar

Just beginning to use the app but I find it to be a bit juvenile. I can't see the rating I gave increasing either since I seriously dislike being prompted to share the app on Facebook (which I detest) or with my friends. Should I feel the need to do so, I'll come to that conclusion on my own and don't need to be harassed at every opportunity the author of the app could squeeze in. I also dislike being pushed to "upgrade" before even getting a feel for an app. Let me use it a little first!

  32. guest-avatar

Nice, but I really don't like having to pay money to you guys in order to actually have fun and do playground, plz at least make one or two of the playground mode options free, thanks for reading this

  33. guest-avatar

Totally beginner friendly. I absolutely love this. I just started but I can already see improvements. I totally recommend it. The free has plenty to offer too.

  34. guest-avatar

    epicjoedogg 721

This was great it taught me so much about html coding but when I logged out and back in my progress was gone!!!>:( I'm not happy with my experience at this point and only recommend if your not serious about html coding as a career

  35. guest-avatar

The instruction is good. Exercises feel repetitive, but that's the process of indoctrinating the concepts. I wish I could figure out how to change my learning track.

  36. guest-avatar

    Jasmin Ruokolainen

I have used this only 10mins. I wish there was a level test like in Duolingo, since now it is like being sat down through starting course on advanced level. Otherwise I like how info is in snippets.

  37. guest-avatar

It makes learning easy. I just wish that it would save my code for free and maybe charge me the monthly or yearly charge to use the code I've saved and to get my certificate. Just a thought. Oh and if you back out or get a call you have to start over maybe that could get fixed.

  38. guest-avatar

    Cajun Champagne

For a free interactive app designed to teach you computer coding, I'd say this is a pretty amazing app. I love it! Good work making the material digestible.

  39. guest-avatar

    Carl The Hipster

It was a good app before everything was made for pro users only. Not everyone can afford that. You only have one free thing on the app you can do. Everything is you have to pay for.

  40. guest-avatar

A very easy and structured way to learn how to code. Whilst the Pro subscription seems expensive, it's worth it if you really want to develop your skills as a coder.

  41. guest-avatar

    Thomas Anatol da Rocha Woelz

Love the bite sized instruction/practice chunks. makes it easy to use anytime even without much time to spare. Lots of pretty obvious answers but it makes sense for firming knowledge.

  42. guest-avatar

App is brilliant for anyone who wants to learn coding, there are still a few bugs but nothing major so far. And it seems to be constantly updating. So far so good. I like it.

  43. guest-avatar

The app breaks each time they update, the latest update broke typing which is pretty important for a coding app... The app breaks everytime the screen locks, it's frustrating. The app was expensive as well, feels like it's not supported.

  44. guest-avatar

It's very very helpful, very fun and friendly to use, i really like the interface of it, and it does deserves five stars P.s: only had a problem logging in with a gmail

  45. guest-avatar

Didnt get the full version yet, if you've got a basic background in coding it's good to go over the things you mightve forgotten. Good for beginners too

  46. guest-avatar

Very good app if you get the premium, it makes programming very easy to learn, you can learn machine learning, IA,... For me the premium was really worth it

  47. guest-avatar

This is an amazing little app, I'm currently learning C# so this is a great little refresher course and even learnt a few new things too!. Would deffinatly recommend.

  48. guest-avatar

Just passed the beginning stage, but it just feels so comfortable by giving people the ability to take baby steps if you're a newbie to coding (which I am)!😊

  49. guest-avatar

It is way better than grasshopper. Very simple step by step instructions and question about what you have just learned just to make sure that you cement it into the mind.

  50. guest-avatar

The best coding tutor by far. Its like learning through a series of games. I love tge content and how it was designed. A perfect combination of education + fun.

  51. guest-avatar

It's very easy to use and learn. All that I just learned in like 5 minutes are all in my head. It's a very fun way to learn coding. Nice app. Keep the good work.

  52. guest-avatar

Incredible! Absolutely love this app. Learning so much very quickly and game like motivations keep me coming back. Very thankful that I found this.

  53. guest-avatar

Lonnnnnnnnnnnng neverrrrr endinnnnng remedial lessons.. feels like I've spent 39 valuable minutes of my day on how to create a html tag and create heading tags over and over and over again. I've learned nothing because I downloaded looking for advanced JavaScript lol -- this is absolutely ridiculous. Some people actually have things to do in the day other than type a h2 tag out 100 times using a dozen awful methods on my phone keyboard? "SKIP" BUTTON NEEDED. Epicly unproductive timewaste

  54. guest-avatar

Really helpful in learning the coding languages above. Would reccomend to anyone who wants to try coding. Leaderboard is very inspiring to stay on the app.

  55. guest-avatar

For starters and experienced alike, this a good example of casual learning. You won't have any hassle to learn every language bit by bit.

  56. guest-avatar

    Richmond Mensah

This app is more than great... It rrslly teaches you step by step and i am more than insighted with this app. Uf there were to be more stars, i would have added an extra one..

  57. guest-avatar

Fantastic experience so far. Already learning and understand the lessons. The lessons are simple that it's almost second nature to me. If interested in learning to code, definitely give it a try.

  58. guest-avatar

    Daniel A Gandara

One of the best learning apps I've ever used. Very engaging and makes me want to continue learning. Reasonable price for pro features

  59. guest-avatar

    Christopher Holland

Great app for learning to code! The price for yearly premium access isn't bad considering the ease of use and the valuable skill set your learning.

  60. guest-avatar

very simple to follow and good, slow progression so you really get to understand everything.

  61. guest-avatar

Easy to understand. Really enjoyed the application 😊👍 Yet to pay for the subscription anyway but will surely do that coz I really want to learn more of programming and coding Hopefully this will help me out😁

  62. guest-avatar

    Intaxian Mapper

This is literally what i was searching for The UI design is very sleek and the steps explain coding very well. I will hopefully continue to use this app

  63. guest-avatar

I have zero experience with programming and am basically illiterate with technical jargon and yet, I haven't broken the program. Find it to be entertaining and educational. Thank you.

  64. guest-avatar

I really like it so far, possibly the learning experience is too slow but for those never coded before it's great!

  65. guest-avatar

The app is amazingly easy to use. Everything you need to learn is prezented neatly and clearly, for ease of understanding. I have tried it for a little bit and I will keep using it.

  66. guest-avatar

    Kayla Infantino

I am 100% new to coding and this really starts you at square one. Other apps assume you understand coding concepts but this teaches them to you and really drills it in. Would recommend for other beginners.

  67. guest-avatar

Very good so far. The interface is professional and makes learning fun. Recommended for budding coders.

  68. guest-avatar

    Fussldrach Kaosmacher

Feels like Duolingo for programming: Quite entertaining :-D Baby Steps are possible (and very nice if you're not too committed) ...Hope I'll become able to code something useful after keeping up the baby steps for a while.

  69. guest-avatar

This application is really good, its really simple to use and funny, I learned about html and I want to know more about coding. Thanks you

  70. guest-avatar

Interesting idea. I like the challenges. But, the way it locks exercises is crazily restrictive, and just leads to a waste of time. Eg, if you already know html you may just want to dive into JavaScript. But that's not possible: you have to complete all the html (and css etc etc) first, before you're allowed to look at the JavaScript. Huh? Why?

  71. guest-avatar

    1Creations #becreative

Great, typically helps u learn coding but they should have made some features free to use as most of the features are premium or needs money to do so.

  72. guest-avatar

    Tấn Hải Nguyễn

A step-by-step instruction with clear examples was given which makes me happy and want to learn more. Great app to be honest

  73. guest-avatar

An amazing app, with a fantastic platform. Easy to use, challenging but rewarding.

  74. guest-avatar

Great app to learn how to code. Easy to understand, lots of tasks and challenges. I really love it!

  75. guest-avatar

It is very good for learning to code. It has basic levels You dont need to do something it will teach you from starting.

  76. guest-avatar

I don't review much but this is a really good app. I've learned more from this app than I did in my middle school class specifically for coding.

  77. guest-avatar

Nice app. I have learned alot about HTML, CSS and JS. I like the interface and the teaching style. After 30 minutes I have subscribed for one year. I am so hungry to learn more and more.

  78. guest-avatar

I started out not knowing a lick about coding, I now know enough to make a webpage, and this app also has other courses that scratch the surface of many other languages other than HTML, CSS, and javascript. I'm now embarking on my dream of game development because this app allowed me to learn enough to understand the basics that are pretty much required to start anywhere else. It truly is made for total noobs. Highly recommend the pro upgrade.

  79. guest-avatar

    Cristian Frunze

It is a good app for learning. It's engaging, but if you want more you need to pay and this is a problem for me.

  80. guest-avatar

Cannot fault the app. Completed all the free stuff and didnt hesitate to subscribe. Its repetitive, but in a fun way. I had some knowledge of html from using it in forums, and on Piczo! Plus the odd lesson which I normally found boring and I wouldn't bother continuing with them. So far (I've only completed html) each lesson takes on average 4-6mins, each one can contain between 5-10 clear instructions on what to do, and with minimal chances to fail.

  81. guest-avatar

    Dominique Wilkins

Great user interface and easy to digest content. Easy to open anywhere, even while commuting!

  82. guest-avatar

    Maxwell Adomako

Great app! But creator, i want to appeal to you to reduce the price so i can subscribe to premium. Thank you.

  83. guest-avatar

I've always been searching for app like this and finally found it. I suggest every newbie at coding like me to learn to code. Great app!

  84. guest-avatar

its a very nice platform but for those who are already learning programming. not recommended for the rookies.

  85. guest-avatar

So far I like how it eases you into the world of coding, and the app is very concise when teaching you any complex steps in coding

  86. guest-avatar

It is great if you want to learn, just the sucking part is that i have to buy the upgrade version to move on but it has helped really well. Yah yeet

  87. guest-avatar

Very helpful. And easy to learn by their instructions. The best app to learn about coding

  88. guest-avatar

    Ascended Pigeon X

Worth the purchase! If you aren't a very confident person (learner) and need a little extra help. This app is PERFECT! It can make you excited to to go back in, many languages to learn, different levels, leaderboards, and tons of courses I won't spoil. I think it's the best coding app used..my opinion anyway

  89. guest-avatar

They got my money! Enjoyable, engaging, easy-peasey, educational. Intend to spend more time tinkering, too..

This app is great for beginning coders. I had been searching for the right coding app for a long time and now I have found it.

Mimo is the best platform ever for programming starter. I love it so much.. One love Mimo. You're second to none. Salut to the owner of this platform.

Update. Previous critque has been fixed. Now it's Awesome! Previous review: Good! The missing star is because of not being able to try again or go back on the Android phone version of the app so I often have to cancel and restart the entire segment if I do I get it right, which to be fair is probably what I should do anyway. But it would be nice to have the retry button function on the app version. I prefer to use the website for this reason. I'm also confused why when I've gone through all the lessons of a segment it says mastered inside but not the main page.

So far the experience in the first chapter for HTML has been great. It's changing the way I think about coding and proving that you don't have to have an actual computer (like a laptop or pc) to learn how to code, which is the whole point of having the app on your phone. Great experience. For those that have tried language learning apps like Duolingo, this is the coding version of it. Love it!

Ok, so on the app itself, it works pretty smoothly. Hovever, you have to pay for a pro version in order to even think about learning any other programming language, such as c# or python. I would recpmmend it to anyone trying to learn HTML, but deeply not recommend it to anyone trying to learn anything else

It's a very good app, although, it's pretty basic. If you want to learn other levels you have to pay. The app should have more resources to use it for free, like "you can only learn a chapter a day if you want to study more, then get the premium version", so people would be able to study every chapter even without paying and more people would be able to learn how to code. Instead of restricting chapters.

Great app. But I feel that 60€ a year is a bit expensive but it's worth it. If you have the money you should get it. I enjoyed this app more when I was able to use it on my laptop and my smartphone. Now I can only do the courses on my phone and that's kinda annoying, also keeping in mind that people code on laptops, not on cell phones. Plus, if I'm paying 60€ a year I would like to access the courses on anything.
