Menetrend Budapest

The application was created for the city of Budapest, whose primary task is to centralize local public transport. The goal of the development is to create a modern version of classic timetable browsers, supplemented with real-time data.

System

The traffic data comes from service provider sources, but there may be differences in some places!

The application uses a unique timetable format, which is generated by MenetBrand's own developed generator. The connected online server processes and publishes new timetables for the mobile app on a daily basis.

No internet connection is required for daily use. The application is designed to be used offline at any time after downloading the first timetable.

We also present real-time timetables using the BKK FUTÁR system. However, static timetables are still displayed first by default. Bolded data on the flight data sheet indicates verified, real-time timetable information.

The application is unofficial and its developers are not affiliated with Budapest Transport Center Zrt. The creators of the application strive for precise operation, however, they do not assume responsibility for any inaccuracies and therefore cannot be held liable!

The timetables are updated continuously and automatically. Every time a new timetable becomes available, the application downloads it. Considering the data traffic, users have the option to update the schedules with any available network or only with a wifi connection. We can also configure in the settings whether to allow anonymous processing of usage statistics and whether to display personalized ads.

The application is free for everyone to use. There are no restrictions and each user has access to each function. Only the schedule data needs to be downloaded at least once to use it.
