What's new in v3.9.6
We’re on version 3.9.6, but hadn’t had new release notes since 3.9.0. If you hadn’t noticed, pretend we didn’t say that. If you did notice, this is for you.
We hadn’t released any new features since 3.9.0 so we didn’t want to bother you with notes (let’s be real, we didn’t want to sit down and write multiple versions saying the exact same thing). However, we did fix crashes and update support for older Android versions so we quietly made six, small updates. Hopefully this clarifies things!

How to install MapQuest: Get Directions on Android 4.0.3+
You'll need about 24.4 MB of free space.

- Open the file — tap the download notification, or open Files › Downloads and tap com-mapquest-android-ace-1043-23459891-9f5dd7e1cb94d2200129256858b60e49.apk.
- Allow the install (first time only) — Android 8 and later asks for permission the first time an app opens an APK: tap Settings in the prompt, turn on Allow from this source, then go back.
