Diantara ulama’ atau imam kaum muslimin yang paling menonjol adalah imam yang empat: Imam Abu Hanifa (wafat 150H), Imam Malik (179H), Imam Syafii (204H), Imam Ahmad (241H) – semoga Allah merahmati mereka semua-.
