Now you need to pay after a year even though the app. Netgear got rid of the basic level. If you don't pay after a year, then this app is useless. You need to remove the equipment from the cloud and set them up manually from the device config page using a web browser making this app useless. This was a recent change.

App itself is great and a good work in progress slowly bringing more items to view or play with involving insight. I find the biometrics and 2fa nice to have. Can view devices and make changes on the fly with Netgear services insight. App does good when offline or online wifi or cellular data.

Bit comfusing at first but realy handy and well made -update Okay so Netgear has desided to change they're pollecies after the fact forcing me to pay a subscription for me to actually use the thing that I bought with my own money. if I would have know that they were Gona force a subscription onto me I would not have bought Netgear eventhough I think they make the best hardware in the consumer market. As a network integrator I wil stop using Netgear for my clients.

Paid for the credits and the device still says not available and limited support. Netgear cloud says no browser available and basically nothing works. Absolute scam. Better sticking with ubiquity.

Suggestion Should integrate with the stand alone utilities too many Seperate Netgear apps. Have one that does all the functions

Downloaded the app because the instructions for the switch I bought (GS305E) required it. All instructions followed, checked and rechecked. IP address does not appear when logging into the app. The switch works, insofar as it is connected to the router, and two pcs are working through it. In the app, GS305E is not listed as a supported device. So far unable to go online to change password from "password".

Netgear switches are useless now 👎 charging for a very basic service that is advertised as free and then changing the advertising to $10💰 a year is just greedy, dishonest and false advertising👎

Nothing smart about this switch, it doesn't alert when there are collisions or abnormal packet behaviour,or when there are broadcast storms . In top of that you need to pay, just to connect remotely... I noticed a big with the traffic counters it took me 4 hours during 13 calls, it was never solved. The counters are still wrong, you cannot trust the megabyte counters . Purchase something else .

This app and switch don't work at all. Also, why is their a subscription if I just paid for the switch? This is the worst switch I've ever had, and my last one would disconnect every 2 min after about a week of me having it, Absolutely trash.
