    please consider this: your commercials are way too loud, and the voices of characters are way too quiet compared to the background music. at least for all of your animes and cartoons. without changing the volume. what if someone's sleeping; now i have to buy headphones too? (ive watched the same shows on other apps and websites that were actually free. this was not a problem with them.) especially for an app that someone has to pay for.

    apk Used to be good. They went and changed the entire home page platform which isnt helpful or pleasing. Only way I can look through the episodes of a show is by searching it, which is time consuming. If i turn it off and then on it starts the show over from the previous episode even if I'm on the next episode. Used to not have adds and now all of a sudden I do ( i pay for my membership).

    No control over my stuff! Always have shows say unwatched when they aren't. Ever so often like this morning all my shows say ever episode is unwatched. Takes the runaround to get to chat only to be told they can't fix it either because it's an ongoing issue. Yes, I've been asking them to fix it for years. They can't fix my birth year so I've learned not to expect much from them. Looking for a new streaming service to replace them now since they refuse to help me with a simple programming issue.

    Love this app. Beat the area cable company by a mile. Always something to watch and the DVR is amazing. Just one problem the past few days. It has started to buffer a lot. Thought it might be a device cleaning issue. But cleaning doesn't help. Hoping the new update will take care of this. Other than that, I love this.

    Great.... but i watch a lot of shows with subtitles on my mobile, and have to go into my device settings every time i switch between apps... i have to make hulu subs larger cause on normal mode its too small for me, then when i (for example) go to youtube and watch a video with subs, the subs are now way too large so i have to change the size again. I wish there was an option to change the size of the subs in-app instead of just making us change it in our settings... it'd make it less difficult

    There is no AMC on Hulu this is a deal breaker for me. We are in the middle of the new season of Better call Saul and we cannot watch it. The app is mediocre but better than most of the other streaming services available. Hulu live tv is very limited on the channel selection and there is a lot of lag and interruptions. All of the streaming services we have tried are trash and not worth the money.

    Mixed Bag. The programming, cloud recording, and price are great. Cons include VERY frequent app crashes on LG Web OS TV even with hard wired data connection, no picture in picture when accessing program guide on LG TV, and overall a slow to respond app on LG TV. It seems many, many people have the same issues. App seems geared for mobile devices and desktops primarily. Address the app issues concerning smart Tv's and it would be a five star service.

    I love the app SO MUCH . And I use it daily . But I'm watching Naruto Shippuden, and after episode 140 there's no more English dubbed episodes . And it's supposed to be dubbed the whole series . Please fix this . This show is the main reason I downloaded Hulu . Thank you and I really love the app!!!

    Excessive ads. I'm on the 5.99 first month free trial, and the ads are so annoying I decided to upgrade to the ad-free package. BUT if you do so, you lose your free trial and must pay for the month! I'm so put off by this experience that I'll continue with the 5.99 package going forward, costing the company more profit from me. If I have further issues, I'll stick with only my Netflix account (easier to navigate too). To Hulu- do better by customers if you want more profit and loyal customers.

    Extemely difficult to update payment info. Constantly buffering on all devices in different locations even with 100mbs. App is broken. I would give a zero star rating If it was an option. Terrible customer service as well. Needless to say, I will not be renewing my subscription and I will be warning everyone I see to avoid this app and hulu altogether.

    Playback_buffer_watchdog_reached no matter what I always get this code. The app won't stream anything at all I've tried restart app restarting devices cleared data and cache deleted app and reinstalled. Nothing!!! All other stream apps work just fine, netflix, disney+, youtube. And I just upgraded my hulu subscription good thing it was a free trial, time to cancel and delete.

    I'm not sure what happened. It was working just fine and then all of a sudden I get hit with the most random thing ever. I pay for no ads and live TV but wanted to add HBO. What happens when I go to my account? "Download hulu app"... I'm already using the app? The app is telling me to download the app. Tried using the website instead, "Download hulu app". Its literally impossible to manage my account. Which also means I cant cancel my subscription. If I decide I dont want to deal with this anymore and the problem isnt fixed, hulu will literally be stealing from me.

    I subscribe to the no commercials version. The content is okay enough. BUT, the UI (user interface) is awful! The look and feel feels good and comfortable compared to its rivals, but I find myself not logging on because it's so laborious. I end up using Netflix and Prime because Hulu's UI is so frustrating. I'd often just rather not. Sigh. Most of my friends that have it agree. Come on Hulu, you really can do much better! Consider this free advice from an efficiency expert 15 years experience.

    Hulu is great when it works, but that's only sometimes. The app is laggy and slow, plenty of weird errors, sometimes it just refuse to start. Poor customer service, almost no feedback when something goes wrong which is often. LiveTV crash or just refuse to work, and more commercials than you expect to see, especially if you pay for "Hulu (No Ads)" Will be looking elsewhere. I spend more time watching the free streaming services more, just because I'm sick of fighting with Hulu to get it to work correctly.

    Junk app that for 3 years only plays for maybe a half hour to an hour before it gets stuck on a black screen, then locks up & eventually shuts off entirely causing you to constantly have to restart it. Only having this on for two to four hours a day I still have to restart everything at least 4 times. It has not worked right since they updated the entire interface in 2017. There's just no excuse for something so widely used to be so poorly designed.

    I love everything about Hulu except the ads are way to long. I get so aggravated that I just log off and go to YouTube. At least you can skip ads on there. I bet if you guys had less time on the ads or skip button,you would have way more viewers. And another thing. You guys don't add enough new shoes. I figured every month would be new shows but NOT!! Please update your show list's more often. It gets old watching the same show over and over.

    I have to reopen app every time I want to pause or rewind bc there are no player controls on notification bar like every other streaming app. You also get booted back to the top of every list you're browsing if you click to read the description of anything on that list. Y'all have skipped the basics of what makes using a streaming app not suck.

    Hulu live TV no ads it's a joke, every show I tried to watch has commercials. I cancelled, then resubscribed to get Hulu no ads for $11.99 a month, most all of the shows are actually commercial free. The only problem is the library is limited. ABC, NBC, and FOX shows are great with no ads. They have the current episodes, as well as classic TV shows. You have to wait until 2 am the next day to watch new episodes. You can watch General Hospital after 5pm the same day, which is cool .

    Unsuccessful cord-cutting experiment. We decided to try Hulu with live TV in place of the traditional cable option and after several months of trying it out, we've concluded that it is not worth it. Besides some extremely frustrating user experience issues, we are finding that the monthly cost after all the needed add-ons is the same as or higher than regular cable, but the number of channels is way less and the functionality is just painful to use. The recent $10/month price increase was the last drop. We went back to regular cable and are now enjoying our TV experience again.

    CONSTANT issues with playback. The commercials play just fine but then I'll get an error message that there's an issue playing the show. So I restart from where I left off and the commercials play fine but once again have an issue playing the show. This happens several times during any program. It's very rare that I can watch a show all the way through without seeing this error message.

    Chromecast support is terrible for this app, constantly disconnects and I am unable to pause / play or change channels or shows. This has been getting progressively worse over the last few months. I don't have this issue with any other apps, so I'm fairly certain it's not my Chromecast.

    Over the last year it's become the worst streaming app I've ever used. There are constant problems signing in. Activating new devices off the computer doesn't work. After I put in the given code. The computer shows a message saying login successful, but the device in question shows no change. When the show does play there are usually issues with the sound not synching with the image. The hassle isn't worth the price. Get Netflix or Amazon instead.

    I found alot more on free apps. 90% of what I search isn't available for the plan I purchase. I purchased the $11.00 expecting to be able to find most of what I searched, the stuff I do find only has 1 or 2 seasons of a series. I will most definitely be canceling my subscription.

    Every update stops working. Somehow when you go to Hulu help it is always your device that is supposedly the problem. Every other streaming service works just fine oily problem is Hulu. Now if I travel I have to connect to my home network. Seriously, the idea of me paying for a streaming service is so I could login and use it on my tablet or computer while traveling. Price keeps going up and service keeps getting worse. Too many other services out now to stay with Hulu.

    I'm leaving a one star rating not on the app itself, but rather the service itself. Hulu was once serviceable, but now it's loaded with so many money making schemes it's unbearable. The ads are intrusive and more ads play here than on YouTube, but what might be the thing that angers me the most is that much of their content is locked behind multiple other subscriptions that require an additional fee for each one. I'd rather pay a full 13 a month for a more fulfilling experience than 6 for Hulu.

    Always something to watch and great selection. Just when you think you've watched everything you could possibly watch they come out with a new series or new movie. My favorite are the Hulu Originals those are some of the best TV shows the movies I've seen yet. I watch Hulu on a regular basis probably about oh I'd say an hour or two a day every day of the week and I'm still finding new stuff I've never run out not to mention they have way better programming than Netflix. So yes I like my Hulu.

    Hulu is great, but they need to catch up to their competition. Amazon & Netflix both give the ability to skip TV show intros, but hulu does not. I sold also like to see more popular and movies available. Plus... Hulu seems to always have service issues. Constant skips and loading. Don't know if it's a bitrate issue or what but it's annoying... would go for the local and movie channels if hulu would update their service issues

    All an all it's ok but Im not impressed with all the ads I don't pay to watch ads if I wanted to watch ads as much as they show on here I'd go back to regular TV so if you could look into this and maybe try and minimize them some you might just be able to get more costmers and maybe work on the problems with interruptions when then weather is bad I know some of it might not be helped but I'm sure you could fix it to some degree but other then that thanks for your services.

What's the point of paying for something for the month of it won't allow you to watch anything. Fix this issue then I'm sure to give it better rating.     Really irritating that you can't open the app whenever there's a damn update. I should be able to continue viewing in my usual format without updating if I want to instead of being forced to delete other apps from my phone to create the space needed to update this one. All for a very few select shows. Starting to really not be worth it. Plus...even the " ad-less" hulu still has freaking ads. Sure it's not like the usual commercials...but you're still advertising..and I pay to not have ads. -_-

    Worst streaming app I have on my smart TV. Buffers a lot and also kicked me off numerous times in a day for idk the reason. Now when recording live TV is the worse. Shows freeze up and I've noticed with NBC shows that when recording the timing is off. Last minute will be cut off. Also hulu lags about a minute behind. Absolutely the worst app for what I pay. Getting to the point where I may try you tube TV to see if it is better.

    Glitchy, poor design. Frequently encounter an issue where I log in and don't have the ability to watch anything, it just sticks me in a constant loop of the "welcome to Hulu!" interstitial with the option to launch the app when I'm.... already in the app. No option to even search for movies or shows, no homepage, just a permanent welcome sign and no way to navigate away. Obviously won't be renewing.

    I like the tv service but there are a handful of bugs. The streams buffer a lot, sometimes disconnects from the Chromecast on its own. It's not a wifi issue because other devices work perfectly fine. An annoying small glitch is when watching live TV the "advertisement" text is persistent on the top left side of the screen.. handful of errors makes me think of going back to YouTube tv.

    Doesn't work with VPN service, even major VPN providers like Nord VPN. Only way to use Hulu is to disable the VPN so that app will work which is a major problem since that defeats the purpose of a VPN. All other streaming services (Disney+, YouTube, Netflix) work just fine so this is a Hulu problem. Likely a deal breaker in this age of competitive streaming services.

    I set Hulu on instant pay with my credit card several months ago while on an emergency trip. I enjoyed Hulu for 1 night (maybe 2) and did not use it again. I've been trying to recover my account so many different ways (password resets waiting for links that never arrive in to my email or JUNK mail after 10 tries, ABSOLUTELY ALL the help links etc....) with no success. ALL OF THEIR help links send you to their Log In page and I CAN NOT LOG IN. Nothing is worth Hulus No Customer Service.

    Was better in the past for sure. Now they have nothing new to watch mostly same as last month. If you're just doing basic hulu without live tv or purchasing additional programming it's a crock of sheet. I understand why they are losing out to other streaming services now. I'm canceling before my service starts another month. Maybe after new episodes appear and movies that mean something as well I will join again

    The thing that drives me nuts is you can't minimize the app like you can with any other video app. Literally any other one. I like to have a video playing in the corner of my screen while I'm doing other stuff. Fix that and I'll alter my review and use the app a whole lot more.

    The icon where you stream to the Chromecast isn't there. One time, I saw it and was able to connect it, but I don't know how to make it appear. It's so frustrating when I just want to watch a show on my TV and the option is non-existent. It's all pointless without the bigger screen.

    30 day FREE trial? They suspended my account due to non paymentafter a week,I called and was told it was because I added live TV as an option and that trial only lasted 7 days I was expecting a 30 day trial attempted to try a premium service and got cut off 3 weeks early! Major waste of time calling in to, they said they could change my plan to basic hulu but I have to pay 5.99, meaning no trial! Plus I have to watch ads, just using shoebox since it's the same thing but free!

I get the Live package and all, and still pay ONLY half the price of DirectTV or my local cable company.. the company definitely cares more than Netflix, but they are still an 800-number company..not sure why my Disney+ doesn't sync to the app like the FX content though..would be nice..

    Ok we are paying $60+ a month and there are soooooo many commercials!!!! Why don't shows, from the previous night, especially show's I've watched before show up on any of your provided list's? I'd rather open the app to show's that I watch that have New Episodes than, show's that aren't even current that y'all think I might like. I don't mind that list, I find good shows I've never seen, but I shouldn't have to search for what came on last night, IJS, not for the amount we are paying!!!

    I LOVE Hulu's content library, and now they have an offline viewing option like Netflix so we can watch our shows on the go! AND streaming services reign supreme over cable TV nowadays! But EVERY time I used Hulu (and Google Play Movies & TV) since having my LG Stylo 2v, it froze after less than 9 minutes, gave my Netflix app a "device failure" error, and even locked my phone so I had to reboot it! If this continues, I probably can't use this app until I buy a brand-new smartphone! Still at 3🌟!

    NO IN APP CONTROLS AT ALL, CAN'T FAST FORWARD OR PAUSE OR DO ANYTHING, CAN'T ACCESS SETTINGS, ONLY CAN START AND STOP FROM MY STUFF. so great paying for an app that won't even open so I can use it. "We're having trouble loading this right now" when I'm on WiFi or 4g. every other app works, NETFLIX works perfectly but this trash app can't even open to the home screen. complete waste of money, deserves 0 stars.

    Horrible, constantly has trouble playing programs, and will give error message, unless a commercial is on. They never have playback errors. Will just randomly close while in the middle of watching, and need to reopen app and restart. Its ridiculous, for something you pay for.

    All of a sudden all I get is the hdcp error. Ever since the last couple of updates, now I can't watch anything. I'm not recording anything or stealing anything. If this isn't fixed I'll have to cancel my subscription. I'm in an area where I can't get any affordable wifi so I mirror content to my TV. This sucks.

    App has an issue with drawing power when casting. It draws even more power casting than when playing on my tablet. Netflix and HBOGo do not have this issue. I also take issue with the UI in landscape. I can only see two titles at a time. I suspect this is to disguise the relatively small selection.

    So I am trying to sign up and I signed up with my email but when I go to add my card it will not let me...I have money on my card and it is active as stuff from amazon that I ordered what was taken off so I have no clue what is going that I wanted to stream some shows on this app and it won't work..guess its Netflix and disney+ for me...

    I am retired and disabled work for many years tried all the free services and although I have them on the most inexpensive plan it definitely makes my needs and I love it I even tried Network apps that had to keep doing whatever they do in the middle of the sound I never had that problem on Hulu and enjoy it a great deal sincerely Joe Cooper

    The app hasn't worked right since the price went up 20%. Every time I want to watch something new I have to disconnect my TV, close the app and reopen it, starting all over. It's aggravating every damn time. It's so low rent, fix it!!

Our internet got hacked and items got changed we got everything back but Hulu seems to jot associat our account with their system saying our email does not match any records It's also saying we do not have a account with you when our Disney plus says we have Hulu.     Hulu live tv is the worst streaming app. I canceled my black Friday special of $1.99 a month thinking live TV would be good but the picture is horrible and it constantly freezes. I will cancel live TV when the cycle is near the end and will keep Hulu with no adds. Very disappointing and I'm extremely dissatisfied with the live TV streaming. What a waste of $62. Im going back to sling or YouTube tv since the streaming on those apps are near perfect all the time.

    Every time (at least 70%) you search for a movie it's only available with an add-on. It's gotten to the point that the service is useless. Also when you cancel your service it demands you repurchase it when trying to use it, even if you have weeks of service left.

    Theres lot of great movies and shows i was looking forward to watching but everytime i click on a show or movie the screen just stays green and there is no audio. My mother on the other hand can watch anything on hulu at anytime in her phone with no problems. I've uninstalled it mutiple times, tried looking up solutions and even deleted most of my taken up storage on my phone and none of that helped. Does any one else have this problem or a solution?

    the app needs some work. I am unable to log on. My log in information is correct but i keep getting a notification saying that "unfortunately i was automatically logged off on my device". I tried several times and even reinstalled the app to no avail.

    Frustrating. After providing info: or my phone isn't compatible w Hulu site, or something really wrong w Hulu site. Besides screens to g I'll in personal data in an endless loop, there is nothing behind the app logo to start 'watching'. So, sorry I feel for falling for this gimmick.

    Update 3/21: BAD APP! Freezes up after one minute when casting with Chromecast. JUST CANCELLED MY SUBSCRIPTION! Zero customer support! developer contact is FAKE! Reply from Dev: "no longer answering emails sent to this address." Called in, no technical support for customer, agent couldn't even understand what I was describing! HULU's hand is out to take your money and offers a failed product in return. I RECOMMEND: CANCEL THEM! NOTHING HULU OFFERS IS WORTH THE HASSLE!

    Old school and new to streaming app. Tried YouTube tv but felt short changed. Checked Hulu and subscribed added entertainment package and very happy with it. Most all channels had on cable that I watched plus movies and episode streaming. Better than cable and not paying all the fees and equipment rental that cable piles on. Saving lots over cable.

    11 days after signing up, it skips literally every second and is stopping and partially loading through every show I attempt to watch. Cant even hear three words come out of characters mouths before it freezes and tries to load. Did it yesterday a couple times then stopped, but today, it has been happening ALL DAY LONG!!!! So frustrating!!. Not worth the $11.99 a month if this continues..

    Decent shows but unless you spend extra on "no ads" then a 25 minute show will have 10 minutes of unskippable ads. Alternatively i can just watch everything on youtube red for cheaper with way less ads. And a lot of programs are locked behind different package paywalls. So i guess its youtube time

    Amazing content. Doesn't play well with Chromecast, the control bar disappears and you can't pause or stop or rewind or switch to another program. I do not have this issue with Netflix app on Chromecast. I will not upgrade with Hulu for this reason.

    The commericals are so much louder than the shows you're watching. I'm constantly turning the volume up and down. The lag on the tv is really bad. Once you click on a button you have to give it a good second to reflect on the screen.

    it's $8 for the cheapest Netflix subscription 12 for the most expensive, it's also about $6 for Disney plus, and how many of those services give you ads with your subscription not a one, yet I sign up for the basic $8 Hulu membership and literally get bureaucratic bullcrap shoved down my throat every two minutes Non-Stop and I'm not exaggerating that and that's all your ad strictly are too, liberal bureaucratic nonsense that no one wishes to hear

    The worst streaming app I've ever used. If it doesn't freeze and buffer until you restart it, the video feed freezes while the video continues playing with sound. It only keeps your position in the episode about 10% of the time. Every episode is a hassle to get through.

    I am looking for a new streaming service and I try your free trial (again im looking to pay ) but you trial has 5 adds per 22 minute episodes if you round 3 episodes being close to 1 hour you've wasted about 15 minutes in adds... If you're trying to show case you're serve and you can't even let me see the full version at this point that's fine was more than happy to buy a full family package but I have to buy a trail ... No thank you ... immediately just turned a head of someone who's pays

    The picture freezes and skips when I use the Hulu app on my AndroidTV. This makes for an unenjoyable viewing experience. None of my other streaming apps have this issue. Please fix this or I will be forced to cancel my subscription.

    This app and service is horrible. Just look at the countless 1 star reviews of the "major" player in the industry. The user experience is absolutely awful in almost every way, prepare to be constantly frustrated by the unnecessarily busy and complex UI, and countless glitches and bugs. Save your time and go try YouTube TV, Sling Tv, or AT&T WatchTV.

    Many times, you can have a great connection, and the movie just freezes, the app is pulling data, and the movie comes back on and skips/pauses for several minutes. Hulu is the only app I have that does that.

    Great...when it works🙏. Been having problems lately w shows start2 play for 15 to 20 second & auto restarting, stuck in loop. Using latest firestick 4k on my optoma projector to cast. Won't cast from cell Samsung S8+ w Hulu. Can cast on cell to projector via fire stick 4K from 10 other streaming apps, no problem. Hulu only app that won't cast from cell. Updated app weekly, same. still have 2go2 menu of fire stick & open Hulu app to play hulu. Otherwise- great app, dev & show selection!

    Forces phone to reboot! I looked up any solutions, and found out this has been a problem for YEARS! The only "solution" is clear data and cache, which I did. But after opening and trying to continue show, Hulu forced my phone to reboot in the exact same spot of the show.

    Great app, except it's giving a 407 message and won't connect to the network. I uninstalled and reinstalled and now I have to reconnect to the home network before I can even try again!!! Won't be able to do that for a few days! Internet connection is great, so what's the deal?

    The audio doesn't work on some episodes. Background music works, but no voice audio. I've tried updating, uninstall/reinstall. Nothing works. Tried multiple devices and it's an issue on all, so it's definitely a HULU problem. Not worth the price!!

    Yeah, Hulu always has something good to watch. And even though they stopped updating "One Piece" they have some other good anime, drama, comedies and etc. Just always something to watch...Just wish they would let me choose my video setting though because I can't always be at 1080p or 720p depending where I am which is weird.

    So strange the way apps with single developers can support PiP on Android. Hulu, with the money of Disney behind it can't seem to figure out how to code for Picture in Picture even though it's already part of Android, so it is very easy to accomplish.

    I already have Netflix, but the sole purpose of subscribing to Hulu was to watch 1 show. I searched and found out that Hulu had all seasons of Fairy Tail (1-9). I get passed season 2 just to learn that season 3-8 are NOT in English. Again. Legitimately the only reason why I subscribed to Hulu.

    Its a great app and it works just fine, but i would really apriciate it if the app would tell me when i need to uptate it, i would figure it out evetuly but i still would not know until i would go to app store to mabye find out how to fix it, and see it has to be updated, so please fix that, but other than that the app is great

    Horrible. Most of the time the app won't open, and when it does it takes several minutes. Then you have MORE load times inside the app. I don't have this problem with any of my other streaming services.

    Bad UI and the ad plan is horrible with 2 minute ads 5 times an episode. Had a trial then lost it as soon as I opted not to renew, even though it was supposed to stay active until the next billing cycle.

    everyone goes over their opinion over fact and fact 1 i have really quick. Hulu has many shows and movies and is becoming more diverse .fact 2. yeah the UI is kinda annoyong but its worth it. fact 3. ads is how hulu gets shows from nbc and all that or at least is one part of it so just grow some patience and sit through it.

    Having problems after the new update rolled out. The casting portion through the app is failing and pauses the timer on the episode screens and can't control where it is on each episode. Definitely needs to be looked into

    So I decided to subscribe to hulu but I am finding that some shows keeping pausing to load. I thought it might be my WiFi, but I watched Free Solo with no interruptions. I'm about to cancel my subscription and just buy Starz through amazon prime so I can watch the shows I'm starting to veiw through hulu.

    Good selection of shows. Would give 5 stars except when rewatching shows I've seen with autoplay the episodes start with 30 seconds left every time since autoplay skips to the next episode. Have to rewind back to the beginning every episode of every show I watch it's annoying to do

    I love Hulu. Always something good to watch. unlike satellite services where they bundle channels and pay for so many channels that you never watch. with Hulu you have too many good choices everyday. and yes you get LIVE TV and local news. It is awesome.
