I watch Hulu, (streaming to my Chromecast) all the time with no issues. But over the last few days I've had nothing but problems. Streaming keeps freezing, every few seconds, and keeps losing connection. Its not my Wi-Fi, because we are having no issues with any other streaming apps; every other app is working fine, Hulu's the only one that's not. I have also cleared my cache, restarted phone, app, and Chromecast. Nothing has helped. It's very frustrating.

The latest update makes it so that I cannot remove shows from the "keep watching" tab or from "my stuff"... very annoying to me. Additionally, for some reason if I leave Hulu and come back to it I have to start the episode all over again, or it jumps back several episodes sometimes... this becomes frustrating when I have ti do it over and over again.

It ALWAYS makes me log in, and then says it can't show any results or there isn't anything to see at this time. I pay 45 a month for everything and can't even enjoy it. Plus I can't watch it anywhere but my house. If you pause it for too long it freezes the whole app and you have to log out to log back in and it starts the whole show over again. Completely annoyed and I'm about to stop hulu all together. These issues need to be fixed. 😡😡

I looked forward to a better experience with the latest update. Unfortunately I got the exact opposite. I'm watching more commercials because the app will not remember my place if I need to pause out of a program. Notifications from other apps interfere with the play back then I waste so much time trying to find the spot I left off because the app won't remember it for me.

I love hulu live. This app is super easy to navigate, but I can't give that last star over for 2 reasons. 1. My content that I've watching is still showing as unmatched making it difficult to keep track and go straight to my latest episode. 2. There is STILL no way to make episodes, seasons, or shows as watched. With neither feature, it makes keeping track difficult. Once those issues are resolved, I'd be happy to release that final star!

Ever since the most recent update this app has been acting a little bit funny. Every time I pause a show I'm watching it starts the episode over from the beginning when I come back and press play. This causes me to have to manually find the scene I was on which is frustrating. It also can't remember where I left off on a show and puts me back a few episodes every time I open the app. This bug is very annoying so please fix it asap!

With the new update... it loses my spot in what I was watching. If I press pause and my screen timeouts, it starts my show all over again. Episodes that I've watched doesn't indicate that I have watched it. Please fix this issue. Its extremely annoying. As much as I love this app, it makes me want to cancel my subscription

Content is good. Functionality is not. I get the "We're having trouble playing this title" message about 1/3 of the time after an ad ends, or sometimes it'll just close out of nowhere. It keeps me stuck on one episode of a show, so every time I want to watch it, I have to scroll through and find the episode I was actually on. Also, the commercials are twice as loud as the show for no apparent reason.

I love this app. And watch it everyday. It just don't update itself anymore. For example-a series that I have finished. It says I'm still on episode 2. And if I watch stuff on my phone and go to my tv to finish the episode, it shows that I haven't started it. I hate the new update and wish they would fix the bugs.

Bring back the old Hulu! I don't care about how snazzy it looks now. This update got rid of the features that were helpful. It used to let me know when I was all caught up on my shows but now it's still prompting me to watch the latest episode (even though I have already done that). For one show I have watched a couple of episodes but it's still prompting me to watch the last episode I was on before the update. I really hope this is fixed soon (I see I'm not the only one experiencing this).

Hulu was removed from my Android TV with no replacement app added. If you're not allowing my device (Channel Master Stream+) to use Hulu Live, at least put the classic Hulu back. A few weeks later. Got an email about the new Hulu app on android. Great. I watched the video of all the new exciting things. One of them was the new "My Channels" on the live guide. Great. Except there's no "My Channels" option on the live guide for android.

This new update is awefull. It doesn't save my watch history and even though I watched the episode it shows up that I didn't. This update has got to get updated quick. It's the only service I use on a regular basis. Please fix what the heck is happening. Also I started watching a new show and it's not showing up in my watch history either. And so one the snows I already watched but it still is stuck on the middle of the show that I repeatedly tried multiple times to show I already watched it.

No longer keeping track of progress on any platforms. This app used to work great but lately I have had to keep track of which episode I am on and if I back out of the app or even pause the show then back out and try to continue watching on a different device I have to find the episode I was on and start it all over. Please fix!

I honestly like/dislike the app update. It looks good but I miss being able to pause and play on my phone without opening the app. I used to be able to cast to my tv and close the app and lock my phone. Hit a button and easily pause. I can't now. I have to reopen everything. I'm also disappointed in the content. More movies and shows would be nice. We're paying quite a bit a month including live TV. I also notice some shows don't have all the seasons. It has like 1st and skips a few.

Ever since recent update all my watched episodes state "new or resume" even when they have been watched. They don't update to current episodes. I have to scroll through to find what has not been watched. Also, when pause and resume an episode it starts back from the beginning. Bring the old easy to manage android app back. These updates just makes the hulu app more complicated with more issues.

Ever since the update couple days ago. Hulu hasnt been right. If im watching something and decide to come back later to finish it. It will do 2 different things. It will complelty start me over from the beginning of that episode and i have to find my spot all while having to keep going through the long ads each time. Or if i decide to come back later and finish the episode it will start me on the episode thats before the one i am on. It is also doing that for movies. Please fix. Ill fix my rating

It's a very good app, easy to understand, but there is one thing lacking it hard getting rid of shows that you're no longer interested in watching. I dont like clutter and to see shows that I know longer watch still showing is annoying. Hulu design an easy way to release show we no longer watch or have changed our minds about watching.

I have used the Hulu app for at least a year. In the last week, it has stopped recording where I am in an episode. The episode starts all over every time i open the app. It is also the same episode over and over, even if i has manually started a later episode. I will be finding something to watch on Netflix during my 5 minutes breaks from my four jobs.

The latest update makes you start all the way from the beginning of whatever you are watching. This occurs if you leave the app to answer a text, email or phone. Also, if you lock your device or the screen times out. It's annoying when you're in the last 10 minutes or so and now you have to scroll through the ads or when the dragging to scroll doesn't respond until the middle of your screen too. Please fix this, it's my main app for watching current shows so I'm an avid watcher.

Why am paying $50 a month for an app that continuously has issues from a company that seems to have streaming/availability issues on a weekly basis???? App and site are down. No help center currently. Good stuff, folks... I'll be asking for a refund as soon as the app is available again, who knows when that will be

I've been a subscriber for a while now through Amazon. The newest version has some bugs in it. It doesn't always keep track of which episodes in a series that I've watched. It usually doesn't remember where I left off in the middle of a show. It's hasn't had these problems in the past which I hope they'll fix soon. I love the selection of shows it has, and I like the variety of new ones that it offers.

There's always something good to watch but it keeps crashing, which sucks. Everytime I'm into something good it just stops, then buffers, and then I have to close it and restart it to get it finish the episode. 😞😞😞 Update: It doesn't crash as much now. But I'm starting to notice some shows that have multiple seasons and only a few of the episodes from each, which is weird, and it's killing my binge watching. Please fix....

Navigation on the app can get dreadful. Sometimes, instead of taking you to a show's details and episodes when you click on a show, it takes you to the episode itself. To get to the shows details, you have to tap a bit more than necessary. What I like the least is that finding new shows is most tedious in the app because there is no "recently added" tab, nor can you sort them by date added.

I love the new look but with this latest update it has become really frustrating that it is not registering I've watched an episode and keeps suggesting I watch the same episode. This needs to be fixed. Also sometimes it will completely start over the episode if i leave the app for a minute and come back to it.

The android app is AWFUL. If I leave the screen for any reason, it starts the show over from the beginning when I get back to it. Nothing I've watched is in my "Keep Watching" list so I have to keep looking for the shows I watch. The things I've removed from my watched list are still there. Shows I've watched are still showing as unwatched, so I don't know if there are new episodes. And still no PIP, which all the other services have now.

My shows will not update on the continue watching section and it will pause while not on WI-FI and I have unlimited data on my phone plan so it is not data running out that causes it to pause. The update before the current one worked well and wasn't such a pain. This is a good service but they don't need to change what worked well.

Overall a great show/movie watching app . never had a problem with any of the streams or shows. The prices are fair . just heads up with the newest update i dont know if its only me or others but none of my newly watched shows save to me keep watching list i have to go through the episodes to find my place in a show and if i get a call the show restarts and before it would save my place.

Doesn't remember where I left off after October 2019 update. That includes: when pausing an episode it will restart from the beginning, after pausing when you resume it starts the next episode, and when resuming a show from where you left off it starts playing a previous episode that is nowhere near where you left off. At least the thumbnail shows what you've watched (after the update).

Latley it hasn't been saving my progress for watched episodes, it makes me start from the beginning of the whole show, back to season 1 episode 1, when I'm halfway through the seasons! It gets really annoying to have to scroll through the episodes and seasons on the shows I watch to remember where I left off!

I really wanted to give hulu 5 stars until I spoke with technical support today. I have had non stop issues from hulu not opening to it just shutting off in the middle of a show to not saving where I was on a show so I have to restart the whole episode. I pay monthly on time for hulu live which is NOT worth it. Also all the recent commercials they have added every 2-2 and a half minutes during a show. They don't care as long as you're paying that's all that matters. I want these issues resolved.

I have a student account. I don't mind the ads because I always have things to do. Although now that I updated my android, Hulu has been crashing as soon as it loads to open. Not sure if they have yet to catch up to the update or not. I am sure you guys are going to fix it. There are many shows to choose from children, drama, and comedy. Yes there are commercials in the student account, I use that time to get a snack or to refill my drink. If you don't want commercials, pay more.

This is the only streaming app with such low volume. Process of elimination, No volume issues with other streaming apps so it's Hulu app that needs to bump it up a bit. Yes I can hear it but if it's noisy around I'll have to use a Bluetooth speaker or bring the phone closer. At Max volume using this app it sounds more like it's at 20%

With the latest update, hulu isn't keeping track of the shows I watch. What I mean is, when I go to continue the show I'm on, I have to go to the series detail and scroll until I find where I left off. It's like its stuck on the last episode I watched before the update went thru. This is on mobile and roku.

The app has recently begun to not recognize when I've already watched something. I am currently on season 4 episode 11 of a show yet, every time I try to start watching, it picks up in the middle of season 4 episode 4. It plays fine once I go hunt up the correct episode but, it's super annoying not being able to just hit play from the "keep watching" screen.

I liked this app better when it worked. Since the latest update, when I pause a show and do something else on my tablet, it doesn't remember episode progress and I have to restart the episode and manually find where I left off. It also just refuses to play certain episodes of shows. These are the types of issues that will cause me to unsubscribe if not fixed soon.

I really enjoyed the app until the latest update. The app keeps going back to the same episode I have already watched. Also if you have watched a new episode it still remains in the Keep Watching section as if you have never watched that episode. I know that the update was supposed to fix some bugs but you need to go back because the bugs are worse than ever.

There are problems with this app more often than not. We pay for no commercials and there are constantly commercials. Channels like Fox go out EVERY day. Sometimes it just stops working. Now if you have to shut a show off and pick it back up later, it doesn't keep your spot, it restarts the show. I'm seriously considering getting rid of it. Super disappointing.

You have to close the app anytime you want to check a notification...Netflix allows you to check notifications in the app and still displays the show in a small screen you can move around. What's really frustrating is that if you close the app to go check a notification, it doesn't save where you are in the show you're watching so you have to scroll through to figure it out. So irritating....deleting the app soon if it's not fixed

I too am having problems with this app more often than not. I also pay for no commercials and so far, no issues with that BUT if you have to shut a show off or pause and resumme or pick it back up later, it doesn't keep your spot, it restarts the show. AND it keeps offering me episodes I've already seen! What is going on? This happens to me on my Roku Player, on my Kindle Fire also-- have not tried it on my Android Phone recently-- but cleary there's an issue- there's just no sync happening between the Roku device and the Kindle Fire- or even within the Kindle Fire! And If I styart a show on my Fire, then pause it and move into the living room to finish watching on TV with Roku Player, sometimes that show doesn't evven show up! Come on folks! Fix it!

The absolute worst streaming service possible. They have a million excuses for why it doesn't work. Usually it's browser related. But I guess the same can't apply to the app because they deny the fact that their service in general is terribly set up. Unless there's something that only exists on Hulu there's no reason to ever pay for or use it. Even fresh start-up streaming services do better.

Glitchy! Pretty much anytime I pause a show, or back out of the app for a second and come back to it... It starts the entire episode over again. Forces me to watch an ad, and then I have to fast forward to where I was, and Hulu makes me watch another ad because I had to skip so far ahead. When I come back to Hulu the following day to watch a show I left off on, it starts the entire episode over, even when I click "RESUME WATCHING". The phone app and the app for firestick etc is garbage.

The mobile app no longer keeps track of when i have watched a show or if I stop part way into a video. It is very frustrating. I love the content and dont even mind the commercials, but having to scroll through a video, multiple times, that i have already watched is getting old. I may go back to paying for cable and using a dvr.

I absolutely love the shows on hulu, so this review isn't 1 star because the shows are bad. After the update the app has been so bad! It doesnt keep my show progress and I have to find which episode I left off on by reading the episode description, which sucks because sometimes I go too far and read a spoiler. I hope hulu fixes this issue soon.

Was a great app, but since the latest update, its horrible now. If I pause it will restart my show and I'll have to try a remember where I was. It also wont let me try and watch some shows, for instance... it will have all the seasons of a show then from one show to the next will temporarily "loose" episodes 19 and 20 and go from 18 to 21. It also now doesn't tell me I've watched an episode. Every episode I've watched since the new update I have to remember that I've watched

Hulu streams really well on my devices, even more so after upgrading my network to fiber optics. Has a great selection of movies, tv shows, cartoons as well as anime. However, it's ads are way too frequent and too many of them as well. Many other streaming services disable ads if you're paying a subscription, sadly Hulu doesn't. The ads are a huge downside in my opinion, thus the 2* rating I have given.

Stick with cable. DVR is pathetic. Content constantly changes. Usability is inconsistent. Even with a really good internet connection the service stops working more often than it old satellite TV service! There is no way to contact them to get help. Like you need another series of passwords to remember to watch TV.

I have been a subscriber for several years with no problems...until recently. The latest update ruined this app. I am constantly getting error messages when watching and when I return to the episode it starts it over from the beginning again. Also, there is no keeping track of episodes you have watched anymore...the white line at the bottom of the screenshot is gone. So many other glitches but I dont have room to write them all...please Hulu fix all the issues soon!

Update: Still same problems!!! Cuts out, buffers, won't load. Everything else works perfectly on my Roku 3 but Hulu. About ready to cancel live. What's the point when you're constantly buffering shifting to SD from HD especially during a sporting event. Pita!!! You miss so much. I guess maybe YouTube or Sling? Really disappointed because I thought Hulu live had the best all around package, but if you can't depend on it??? It's been doing this for a few weeks now. DISSATISFIED!!!

The look of the app is nice but the functionality sucks. Sometimes the shows I save to "my stuff" don't save. Also the keep watching never updates so it can be impossible to keep track of what episode you're on if watching multiple programs. Doesn't allow you to pick up where you left off either which can be annoying if you're halfway through something.

The glitches seem to be a feature because every single update, they get worse. At least the bugs that make you watch more ads, which are definitely a feature. This problem has existed for months and the latest update made it worse. Now when you navigate away from a video, not only does it run the risk of playing an ad break that you just watched again, but now it will probably start the whole video over from the beginning and play ads.

Everytime I pause a show it restarts from the beginning of the episode. It it also stuck in a previous season of the show I'm currently watch so I'm always scrolling to find the right episode. This started a couple days ago. It is obnoxious and annoying. I tried emailing them about the issue, and the email provided in the play store says they no longer answer emails sent to that address.

I used to love this app until this recent update. I dont know what happened but now my shows won't pick up where I left off and I have to fast forward to find the spot I last watched. It doesn't remember when I finished a series. Instead of saying all caught it simply displays the show like I haven't watched any of it. If I start watching a new show, the next time I go try to find it in my stuff it's nowhere to be found and I have to search for it again. This is so FRUSTRATING!

Would give zero if I could. Doesn't remember which episode I'm on or where I'm at in that episode. If I do anything else on my phone even with the app still running in the background it closes it out and I have to try and figure out which episode and how far in I was. This is frustrating and not worth it. If it wasn't for the one show I like on this site, I would have cancelled already. Please fix it. Also does this on my playstation and Ipad.

I'll be honest, I get hulu free as part of my sprint wireless deal and I still find myself watching more netflix and amazon partly because hulu's app stinks so bad. If I pause a show and my screen saver comes on, then the hulu app will start my show over at the beginning. It can't seem to remember which shows in a series that I have watched so I can't just click on "watch next episode" I have to go back through the series menu each time. App is light years behind netflix and amazon. Frustrating

Ever since the new look and update when you pause or a show has been completely watched it still shows new episode or resume episode. I have tried to rewatch/fastforwardand still get the same message. Also the app closes every so often. Very annoying especially since its something we have to pay for. Please fix these issues.

Hulu used to be great. Now every month consistently there are several days in a row when Hulu is "having issues" and videos won't play. I get an error code. This month is going on 4 days in a row now. I contact customer service and get no help nor any sort of reimbursement or "free" days to replace the almost week now that I've been unable to use a service I pay for.

This app is frustrating. I will be in the middle of a show and my entire phone (Android) will randomly restart. I have tested other apps and spoken with my providers tech support so I know it's not my phone, it's this app. The aggravating part is nothing I have done with the app has fixed the problem. Also, if I watch a show on my phone, it doesn't transfer my progress to other devices so I have to figure out where I left off. If these problems are fixed I would gladly give 5 stars.

The the hell are there ads as if I was watching this live even though I'm paying a monthly subscription. I don't care that you have multiple plans at different prices. If I'm paying ANY amount for your service there should be NO ads whatsoever. I can watch FREE ad-supported content straight from the network provider if I wanted to, so why do you charge to do what can be done for free? HULU you need to remove all your ads for every paid subscription plan!

I watch the add, the show times out and i have to watch another add and the show still times out again and again. I choose the option for a longer first add but i still get multiple adds throughout the show. Customer service doesnt pay attention to what youre saying. Annoying as hell. I pay money to watch your shows i expect it to work.

The phone app is great, the tv app sucks swamp water. Wont stay on longer than 2hrs, turns off and now im watching live tv. Cant keep watching repeated shows on fox news, have to go searching for the same programs everyday.. But arrow, flash, and all other shows and networks can be found in the keep watching section.. Acts like typical liberal based app..

This app has gone downhill. Buffers every 2 seconds, literally. Cannot load a full episode of anything more then a 3 minute clip. Dissatisfied to say the least. Also, when I close the app and reopen to continue watching, it restarts the whole video.ixes up the user accounts so shows I don't watch pop up on my feed.

Can y'all just get it together? This isn't a free service. We all pay for it. Your app is constantly crashing, cross platform, multiple devices. Android TV app, hasn't even worked in weeks. Android phone app, crashes constantly. App on my Samsung smart TV, also constantly crashing. I pay $28 a month for premium services. This is getting ridiculous. It's not my internet connection, I have boosters and a mesh network at my home. As well as high-speed internet. IT IS HULU.

You guys are funny. One of the biggest game being play right now at 7:25pm 10/03/19 Thursday night & all of a sudden "ERROR" cant watch nfl football game. Never had an issue with this before but why today! This is the only reason why I purchased LIVE so I can be able to watch sports. I'm requesting a discount on my next billing. My team is seahawk! I highlighted the team as to follow and watch. I didnt know that I have to live in Seattle to be able to watch It. Please fix it & update this.

I love Hulu! I cancelled my Netflix just for Hulu. It's only the greatest TV streaming service ever with the best selection of shows! It saddens me that I have to give it only 2 stars, but frankly, the mobile app is terrible. If it didn't randomly close out so often and shut off every time I get a text or email, it would be magnificent. This is just a painful drag. I do hope that somehow this bug gets fixed. But then again, most mobile versions of this kind of thing are typically sub-par anyway

While the content on this app is still a great variety and we do watch a lot of shows on hulu, as other reviewers have mentioned, the latest update screwed everything up. It no longer tracks shows we've watched and keeps sending me back to an episode in a previous season, saying I haven't watched multiple episodes. In fact, nothing on My List is correct anymore for what's been viewed. This is a very unfortunate, annoying issue.

The only thing I like about the Hulu Plus App is that I'm not paying for Spectrum TV haha. Spiteful and childish I know. The problem with the app, for me, is that it will cut out of my show and I have to start all over again for no reason. Its very annoying, happens at least once a day. Sometimes it doesn't play back where I left off, so I have to fast forward through it and listen to more commercials because it cut off for no reason. I also wish they had a NFL package, we would buy it.

Your app sucks. Every time I'm watching an episode it freezes in the middle then I have to close the app, re open it, and restart. Then rewatch all the adds I just watched, over and over again. It takes an hour to get through a thirty minute episode. I can't deal with it anymore. I just updated it and it didn't fix anything. I'm canceling my subscription and going back to Netflix. Not worth it.

Sorry for low rating, it's to get your attention on this issue that's been ongoing for as long as Ive had my TCL TV. When casting to a Chromecast, the app (on the Chromecast end) mistakenly behaves as though surround sound were enabled. It's not. And there are no external audio devices plugged in. This prevents me from controlling the volume. It only occurs with Hulu, all other apps behave correctly.

I am changing my review as Hulu has improved a great deal. I believe they change the video quality setting at the commercial breaks and that saves us data. Their programing is outstanding they fixed the bugs for android users(me). I am going to be switching my plan to the Hulu Live,as i see it is the best deal for me. I watch an abusive amount of tv. I have tried most of these type apps that are available, Hulu is the best one.

I usually love this app. But the last few days any time I pause and the screen locks it sends me back to the start of the episode. This wouldn't be so bad except I think have to wait a minute or two of watching ads every time this happens and then have to watch ads again a few seconds later when I fast forward to where I was.

I got Hulu live specifically to watch the Seahawks games. Guess what they dont play the Seahawks unless its a Thursday night game. THEN when I finally get to watch the Thursday night game it stops working right at halftime! Also If you paid for no ads before you got live, you still have ads when you have live, even for the normal tv shows that have been out forever! Definatly not worth the extra money!

When I leave the app and come back, the show starts all over again. This is so irritating as is, but even more so when a show plays with ads because then I have to wait for those to be over while I tap around trying to find where I left off. So either I can never pause to respond to a text until the hour long show id over or I do and have to wait through an ad to try to find where I left. Then it doesn't recognize when I've already watched an episode and keeps suggesting I watch it

Recent updates have destroyed this app!! I've been having the same issue as everyone else with the buffering, error messages, and shows starting over if I leave the app on both my cell and on our fire stick. But now a shows description is totally NOT matching what's actually playing. Trying to watch Ghost Adventures and its saying they should be at a sanitoriam and some other place and its the slaughter house. SMH!! This is getting kinda ridiculous. I hope we're all getting pro-rated!!

I was loving every second of Hulu on my phone up until this recent update. The app no longer remembers where i left off from my last show which is extremely frustrating when ive watched 5 episodes straight then come back to watch more and cant remember what episode i was last on. Even if you answer a phone call or text message then come back to your show it will start all over, advertisment and all! Please fix this.

Mostly good app, but there is an error that happens once a week or so that necessitates rebooting your device. Considering all the devices that suffer from boot loop issues, this is simply not acceptable. I've lost my last two phones to boot loops, and I have anxiety every time this app fails.

Annoying, poor service, tons of bugs. Planning on cancelling before trial ends if not fixed before then. Sound drastically goes out of sync after every commercial break. Constantly getting error message saying unable to play a title or connect to my account. Sometimes a show will stop playing AFTER a commercial break, so you have to start the show over, watch the intro commercial break, then fast forward to where you were and watch ANOTHER commercial break....

Why do you gotta change your compatible devices!! I can't watch my shows anymore bc it's not on any blu-ray Sony DVD players, I don't know if you can update it back on there but please if you can please! It's a great app I love it so much, I can watch my favourite shows all over again and watch childhood TV shows and documentaries.

So. Hulu glitches, says I need to update card info before I can log on, my account is on hold. I check. Card info is correct. Add it again. Get charged. Can't log in. I must activate on a web browser... go to the URL and get a message that I need an account to activate. Can't activate. Can't log in. Can't access what I'm paying for.

Way too many ads for a paid service. You still can't do PIP on your mobile device. To top it off its like these little glitches were just designed to make you watch more ads. I can pause a show on my fire stick, and it go to screensaver, upon returning its skipped back 2 episodes on whatever show I'm watching, and even if I had just sat through 2 minutes of their boring crappy advertisements, it starts yet again ANOTHER commercial break. Its even started doing this on Android too. Not worth it.

After the last update, if I choose high video quality, the movie picture freezes while the audio continues. I've tried uninstalling and reinstalling but still having the issue. Recently upgraded my account, but if the issue doesn't resolve I will just have to go back to cable and netflix.

I am upset that hulu no longer supports the app on my Sony br player.It now tells me I have to cast from my devices to my tv,which doesn't work very well.The picture quality is poor and takes a few minutes to clear up.Then it keeps cutting out, like it has trouble loading,and when it does I have to wait for the picture quality to clear up again. I can cast with YouTube,Netflix,Vudu, and even Tubi without have this problem.I am paying 99 cents a month for hulu, but I think it's time to cancel .

The new UI is a definite step backwards. The mixture of cards and full screen layout clash horribly, and the design of the cards is amateurish - I seriously question if the designer understands UX at all. Add the fact that there are proprietary, seemingly arbitrary categories that obfuscate where I can find what I want and it makes for an unnecessarily irritating experience. It's quite counter intuitive.

Ever since the last update every time i select a series it stays stuck on the same episode, even tho i have watched several episodes. Never happened before, and is extremely annoying. And can we get some pip already? You guys know it's almost 2020 right? Free YouTube can do it, maybe put some of that $ we give you every month into figuring it out?

Giving it a 4 because the app needs fixed. Before the update I would have gave 5 stars but since the update my shows don't save where I left off and when I'm watching series I have no clue where I'm at because it still says I need to watch them all, even on the shows I'm caught up on. Before the update it would say all caught up when I was caught up. Also there is a show that I have been trying to remove from playlists for weeks now and it will not leave my playlist even when I push remove.

Latest update (Oct 3rd) is infuriating!! The "watchline" says I've only seen half episode No! I don't want to resume episodes that I have already watched completely-to the end incl.credits- and then when I tap on resume episode, it starts at the beginning!! I'm loosing my mind, spent a half hour on the phone with customer support troubleshooting.....nothing worked, cleared storage cache and data, uninstall and reinstall etc I can't stand the new app--fix this bug!

I love the choices but it's not user friendly. I'd rather use Netflix and YouTube most days even though I pay so much for hulu. It's just not as convenient. Picture in picture never works anymore. You stop to do something else and your episode closes and buffers or even starts from the beginning when you return. Then its always playing new episodes of shows you're not interested in instead of sticking to your queue like before.

I'm on the second season of south park and it's stuck in the middle of one episode, so I have to go through the season to find the one I actually left off on. Also, when I click off the episode, I have to restart the episode and listen to the advertisement in the beginning. Please fix and I will update my review.

App won't even open for me SMH it crashes as soon as it opens up to the main screen. If I click search before it fully loads I can bypass the bug that's forcing the app to crash. But I mean come on now, really? People are paying good hard earned money for this app and this is what we get. I am FLABBERGASTED.

On firestick: I think it used to have an a-z category. Not now. Not every thing hulu has can be found in the categories it does have - you must type the name into the search. As many ad breaks as cable, without the variety. Shows the same 5-10 commercials every day till new ones are finally added or till old ones come back. Frequently fails to resume. Freezes. Needs to be reset often. Picture messes up. New things aren't added often enough. Its only positive is that it's better than netflix

Hulu has adds, enough said. It destroys the flow of shows. My time is worth paying to remove adds. Why am I paying to watch long ads every 5 minutes. Ads after you already pay is a scam . This is why tv is dying. I would rather play twice as much to not have strangers try to make feel like my life won't be complete without their products.

Crashes all the time, and doesn't reliably connect to chromecast devices. Half the usa experienced an outage last night for over an hour. Cheering for my team then no playable video. Missed the rest of the game. I was getting charged by hulu for two accounts. Went on for almost a year. Everytime I called the wait time was over 1.5 hours. I ended up canceling the credit card that was getting charged because hulu makes it impossible to cancel. Save $ and frustration just don't signup for hulu

With this new update it doesn't keep track of the shows I have watch and still shows episodes unwatched even though I am all caught up. Also I started a new show and have watch 4 episodes and the app is not showing it as watched anything. I have to guess which episode I am on and if I stop in the middle and come back later it doesn't save my place like it use too. This app has a lot of problems I hope you get them fixed soon or it is going to get more and more frustrating!

Hulu has a new bug that prevents the apps from tracking your programming so maintaining your watchlist is next to impossible. This is a recent issue that Hulu is still pretending isn't their fault, but the exact same issue occurs on my account regardless of how I access it. Please fix this. Normally I love Hulu but I'm getting SO many glitches that's now spreading to EVERY device I try&use Hulu on.Including the WEBSITE.I'm getting so sick of this constant "cannot display" error that blames MY device yet it's happening on everything&often in the MIDDLE of an episode or movie.Then it doesn't want to load at all which is happening to me right now! Wth happened to Hulu cuz its beyond annoying not being able to watch content that I'm paying for along with an HBO subscription. FIX IT PLZ

I swear during the commercials right when it gets to the end hulu does something to overload the server and make you close the app to open it back up and watch the 90 seconds of ads again its extremly frustrating but other than that I like the new update and they need to stop putting nothing but old movies that nobody watches on there and i don't like that you need to pay $45 a month to watch the new shows and movies its definitely not worth it

Your app is garbage. Your UI is horrendous across all platforms. There are weird visual bugs, freezes, and crashes. You have more ads than YouTube. The lack of picture in picture makes all of the problems feel worse because it makes it inconvenient to try and watch things on your platform.

It's insanely frustrating to use. You can't swipe down your currently playing content instead you end up skimming through the program, c'mon just make it able to swipe down like YouTube. Fullscreen for 18:9 and above phones also isn't fully supported properly it leaves your phones' status bar visible taking up space. Just give us 3-4 zoom options on the overlay. This stuff is so easy to make a better app but instead they are focused on making programs look like neon advertisements.

It was working completely fine until this update. Now it takes up to 5-10 min to load a family guy video for 5 min run of it before it loads again. I've turned off my phone, made sure the wifi was working, and even uninstalled the app. It is still doing it and it was completely fine on Tuesday. Please fix.... thanks

Wow, you guys brag about the new interface but I think it is horrible. It is difficult to find a show to watch because each show takes up an entire page. Why make people scroll so much? Put the shows in a bunch of little tiles so you can see more per page and then expand to provide the details when someone clicks on it... this app makes me want to watch Netflix.

You all have great content but the menu could be a little easier to navigate. Also if I lock my phone while in the middle of a show it will restart the episode and lose my spot. It's very annoying considering I'm paying for it. Hulu, fix that and I'm golden
