Have used this app for one year now, works very well. Two problems I have, but hardly serious: the constant reminder to download the alternate app from Hikvision is annoying, should be a way to disable this; there is no way to change he aspect ratio, some of my feeds look stretched out. Otherwise the app works fine.

After using for about a month the software stopped working and so did the cameras. The network Technician said the DVR login password may have been changed, perhaps by the company in which case it goes back to the default password by the company. Is that so ? We just hope not to face such disruptions again and expect better service.

Updated to this new version. Utterly appalling. Previous version was very quick at displaying images this version takes up to 1 minute before the cameras show any images. Please fix this adsp as there doesn't appear to be a way of reverting to thrbold reliable version. Spending 2k on a home security CCTV system only to have a third rate app is completely unacceptable. FIX IT !!!!!

WHY TF IS THIS NOT THE MOST RECENT UPDATE!? After installing, the app straight away tells you that it's outdated and sends you to their site where they force you to install untrusted 3rd party software to your phone. There are multiples of the same app on their site all different versions for what reason? Clearly they don't care, this should be removed and they should be accountable for having an outdated app just to be able to say they are on the App store. Utter rubbish, nothing will change.

Hikvision being a big company, it is bryond understanding why they are upgrading their app to prove it worst than hell. This is extreme rude to every time upon opnening it say " no device found" and prompting to log in with 100 unsuccessful attempts . Just. H E L L. Or improve. O. R. Roll back.

Rubbish App This used to be a great app but now it's not letting us playback for more than a 10 second clip. It constantly freezes and doesn't notify us of any activity for a few days, then we have to uninstall and reinstall for it to notify us again. I wish there was another app that we could use!!

Is it me or the app works slower recently? It takes some times to load the pictures. The video is also stuttering whether I used wifi or cellular data. I thought it's because I didn't update the app yet this is already the most recent version.

It's OK but definitely could be better. It's so hard to see time and date if the background is the same colour.. The PTZ but doesn't seem to work and I can't change the time and date so that's its correct as it's wrong on all cameras....

Worst app I cannot see the live preview nor playback as it always shows that connection error or some other error code check my internet connection and switched off the NVR and router moreover I have uninstalled and logged out from this app twice, even in other phones same is happening but as I am also using PMOB app by Panasonic its working excellent

I don't understand why this Hilook vision app needs permission to access my media/photos/personal files and my memory card?!! Is that anything to do with just a CCTV App? Developers can you guys explain the need for those permissions?!
