This try for Free app that teaches children of all ages on the Autism spectrum or with learning delays to identify pictures and words using exciting animations to reward the child's progress. The app uses the ABA DTT (Discrete Trial Training) principles to encourage the child to progress through the different images and labels. First, the child has just one choice to make to identify an image by touching the image, then two and so on until s/he masters the image by getting it correct eight times. The app then moves to the next image. You can decide how often to give the rewards. The prompts and labels can be switched on or off. Also the frequency of the rewards can be adjusted depending on the capability of the child. The app features dozens of everyday objects and actions that children comes across. Great start to a child's learning journey! This app was designed and produced by a father of a child with Autism using the ABA principles and the same images he used in his own child's development! As a side note, the boy diagnosed with Autism at two years of age underwent intensive ABA therapy for three years before entering mainstream school. He is now working, driving and is practically indistinguishable from his peers. I would encourage any parent of a child with Autism to begin ABA therapy as early as possible. You child is most likely highly visual and will learn readily from images and sounds.

My son likes this app, but it doesn't pick up where you leave off. You have to start back at the very beginning each session. It doesn't track the words he has mastered, so your unable to build on your last session.

Horrible. Autistic people are not dogs, nor are they in need of training. Forgo "games" like this and abuse like ABA. Teach your children in ways that foster bonding, independence, and self esteem. Drilling children only teaches compliance, and that is a dangerous thing.

  3. Martina Sládeková-avatar

ABA is abusive. So it comes as no surprise that the developer compared autistic children to wild dogs. The reason I gave 1 star is because there's no option to give 0.

I upgraded to platinum but nothing happened. Unable to use it. I would like my money back or please upgrade it. Thanks

"better a trained dog than a wild one" We are not dogs. We are people. Compliance training is not education. Listen to what autistic people have to say, rather than following training methods that do more harm than good. Also, the "rewards" in this app are not good. A video of am asteroid flying towards the screen breaking it? That almost gave me a full-on meltdown. It was scary.

Hideously ugly app created to "train" autistic children as if they're dogs. Do not recommend.

ABA and anything relating to it is harmful and abusive. It's not education at all. And Autistic children aren't "Wild dogs". Gross. Disgusting thing to say.

ABA is abuse. I'm not even autistic and I know that. The creator of ABA compares autistic kids to dogs.
